Bollywood Grill

The experience was fine, but unmemorable. It's a safe bet if you're not looking for surprises, but you won't be counting the days until you return.

I came for lunch with a group of friends after visiting a gallery at the Ovation shopping center across the street. I did not realize that there was such a high caliber restaurant in the heart of touristy Hollywood. All the dishes tasted distinct and fresh. The garlic naan was one of the best in town, with good garlic flavor and brushed with butter. They have a good selection of street foods including frankies. I ordered the lamb curry frankie, rolled in flatbread and topped with chutneys as well as fresh cucumbers and onions. The curry sauce was flavorful and not greasy. The papdi chaat has all the flavors and textures - sweet, spicy, tart.Service was on point as well.

After a night out with friends in downtown, we ended up going to the Bollywood Grill. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, & the service! The food we had was rich and creamy. The garlic naan was fluffy, freshly made. The mango lassi we gotten had super thick consistency, but was still delicious! The staff was very attentive and kind! Refilled our water and checked up on us from time to time. While the actual establishment was narrow, yet spacious. The store was clean, and their bathrooms were too! Which is always a plus in my book.

Had the pleasure of stopping in late one evening to find myself overly delighted and pleased beyond reason. Excellent experience would recommend.

Great Indian restaurant right on Hollywood Boulevard. They have some unique dishes also like an Indian style rice bowl (like a Chipotle style bowl but an Indian version). Staff were really nice and service was good. They also do have a lunch buffet sometimes but we went in a weekend for lunch and maybe they only have it weekdays for lunch? Definitely a good spot to visit if you're visiting Hollywood Blvd!

From the looks on the outside, and being located right on Hollywood Blvd, my expectations were low, but boy was I wrong. This place is delicious, like everything was bursting with flavor and a home-made goodness that warmed my soul. Highly recommend.

I'm not a big reviewer on places however this place and the owner desire their own star in the Blvd. From being family owned to the warmed welcoming staff, Bollywood has always made me feel right a home with the comfort the food brings. I have made a pact with the owner that they will for sure be catering my wedding!!!!!! lol all seriousness aside, Bollywoods hospitality goes unmatched and if your in the area, stop in! & ALWAYS ask for spicy !!!!!

The food was just ok. The portions are small and the ambiance is also just ok. Service is not bad though they were quick
