Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill - The Grove

Finally tried Blue Ribbon and I definitely have mixed feelings. First 5 star service from the host, waiter, and everyone else. It was a full service dining experience, which means it's worth a visit. Food gets 3 stars. I started with the Binnaga Tataki, which is albacore, ponzu, and crispy onions. It tasted just like the picture looks. Take a look at my pic and don't make the same mistake. Too many onions and flavorless.I followed up with the salmon hand roll, which was amazing. It was filled with salmon and the rice was warm rice. I ended up ordering it twice. I then ordered the chef choice four piece sushi which was equally excellent. Finally I had the Yuzu Hama. Some pieces were good but many were salty.

Modern, clean atmosphere...good service. In the heart of the Grove. We were grateful that we were able to get right in since the other places were booked.The hot matcha tea with the Crispy Rice sushi (A Big YES) and Bucket O Wings (crispy goodness) hit the spot . Our kids were served fresh salmon rolls and California rolls. They ordered kids meals and it was filling! Glad we rolled in here. Worth the stop!!!

3.5 - This restaurant is really close to the Apple store I was visiting in the Grove so I decided to check it out. The good: My waitress was very kind and attentive. She kept checking on me at a reasonable pace so I didn't t really need for anything. My food also came out really fast, maybe 10 minutes after I ordered it! The music was also very good. They were playing throwback R&B like Lauryn Hill, Bryan McKnight, etc and I really enjoyed that.What I ordered:Fried Chicken Wings (6 pieces) - it comes w. Momiji Chili & Wasabi Honey. This was supposed to be one of the best things here, and at $25 for 6 wings I was hoping it would be, but it was just ok. The wings came out fresh & hot & they were very crispy. The wasabi honey also wasn't bad! But there wasn't enough flavor in the wings themselves. I could only really taste salt, so I wouldn't get these again. Especially for the price. Green Tea Creme Brûlée - THIS was so good! It was crunchy, creamy, and very flavorful in the best way. This was $14 well spent and I'm definitely going back if I want a sweet treat while I'm at the Grove.I may try the sushi later. The reviews didn't quite convince me. All in all, while pretty pricey, the ambiance, service, and dessert were very good. I'll definitely return for the Green Tea Crème Brûlée and cocktails!

the spicy tuna crispy rice was some of the best i've ever had. the sushi selection was very fish, we did the tuna for the cut roll. recommend checking out if you're ever at the grove!

I think we'v visited the Blue ribbon in Vegas and liked the experience. First time here for dinner at this location after some shopping at the Grove. We chose sushi counter as usual, ordered a bottle of our favorite cold sake. For food we had some nigiri, California roll with Dungeness crab, miso soup, shishito papers, spicy tuna crispy rice and yellowtail collar. The food was very fresh in healthy portions. It just I don't like Japanese food, not one bit especially raw fish. So hubby enjoyed the dinner much more than me for that reason. Still this is a good place for sushi at this outdoor mall. The service was very good and it was a very relaxing sushi dinner for us!

Come here often for dinner and for happy hour, always leave happy. My favorite is the 18 pc sashimi, so fresh! They have an amazing selection of hand rolls and delicious drinks!

I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the sushi here. I'm not going to lie I expected mediocre sushi because of the reviews and I have visited another location years ago and it was very over priced for what it was. But my cousin was visiting and she really wanted sushi and this is the only place in the grove.The service was good, we had a stroller and they were very accommodating and nice about our seating. Plus they're located in a great part of the grove with a great view of the fountain. Here's everything we ordered:- spicy tuna crispy rice (one of the best I've had, specifically due to the crispy rice)- albacore sashimi w/crispy onion- cucumber sonomono- tiger roll (this was great, we ordered it twice) - spicy tuna hand rolls I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come here, but if you're in the grove and craving sushi, you're in luck. Or if you want to have sushi with a nice view and ambiance, I would hear for that as well. *They validate parking, unfortunately I don't know what happened because I had to pay the full amount when I was driving out.

A very solid sushi spot located in the Grove shopping complex. I've been here countless times, and the quality and freshness of the sushi never disappoints. Service is also always great. I can highly recommend the Tiger Roll, baked crab hand roll, spicy tuna on crispy rice, and the caviar roll.

Food: 3/5Got the dragon and tiger rolls and they tasted as expected (good!) but they're kinda pricy for the size. Left wanting a snack after.Service: 4/5Standard service! Got seated fast and served at a reasonable time. Ambiance: 2/5Really loud music. Hard to hear when talking but it is spacious.

This was the best date night spot. Incredible ambiance and incredible food. My meal was vegetarian and my boyfriends was all fish and we both enjoyed it. 10/10 would recommend and will be back!
