The food was delicious and ate before the game. We loved it so much that we came back after the game and ordered shrimp curry and oxtail!Highly recommend and definitely will be back...

I needed some last-minute grub before I started my drinking fiasco at Iron Maiden at the forum. I ran into this place, and let me tell you, it was fate! The nice young lady (sorry I forgot your name) recommended the oxtail, which I never had before. It was the upmost best dish I've had in a long time. I wish I didn't live 3 hours away because I would be here once or twice a week.

Fantastic mom'n pop home-cooked Jamaican food. Among giants as One of the best alongside The Satdown in Studio city (both are amazing, but far apart).Definitely the best place to stop by -- especially before a concert/game at the forum, youtube, Sofi. In walking distance too.Ordered the 'small' plate of famous jerk chicken.Slathered with the jerk sauce, eliciting a spicier taste packing a punch and wallops, but doesn't kill.Unlike The Satdown serving cuts of the breast, You're gonna get a half chicken or whole chicken (depending on your order) bone-on.The chicken pokey and wings have a nice crust char on some of its side. Very good.Very affordable, and definitely worthy of your hard-earned money.

Went to the Rams game and got there extra early so I could try Blessed Tropical Jamaican Cuisine (it's across the street from SoFi Stadium). Had a combo plate with oxtail and curry goat. Both were terrific. It came with sides of rice & peas, and plantains, which were both very good, especially when I mixed the rice with the sauces from the meats. The man at the counter was very helpful, and the food came out quickly. The dining room is small, but adequate. My only complaint is that they don't allow anyone, even customers to use their restroom.

Blessed is some of T.H.E. Best Jamaican food in Inglewood. The owner is amazing, and especially giving. Years ago, my Jamaican born mother-inlaw passed away. We had him cater the repass, and he provided so much food people were taking leftovers home. I love the jerk chicken, curry goat, oxtails, rice & peas. I'm happy We don't live to close, because I would be there everyday. You might also get a free patna lesson. I Love Blessed. This place is definitely worth the try. I 100% recommend this place.

I ordered the goat curry and it was excellent! Had it with a Jamaican ginger soda. The curry flavor is excellent. Definitely stewed for several hours. Fat just fell off the bone. I'm going back! Kind staff. Simple and clean joint. Close to SoFi and Intuit. Great for game day.

Update:I have been eating Jamaican food for at least 20 years, since I was introduced to it many years ago. I have been back to this place several times while working down the street. Ridiculously good. Oxtails and curry goat fell off the bone. I ordered a large. I was going to save some for later and ended up eating the whole plate.Don't sleep on this. Big up to Blessed!

Been meaning to check out this spot for a minute after receiving a recommendation a few years ago. Finally made it. Was craving some Red Snapper/Stew Fish. And after checking the prices of some of the restaurants in the South Bay Area, I found this to be the least expensive. My meal was absolutely delicious. Literally thee best rice n peas, the plantain melted in my mouth with a savory taste of sweetness. The fish seasoned to perfection. Yum yum yum. I'll definitely be back.

The small oxtail plate was delicious!!! They were out of plantains an hour before closing time, but I am sure the plantains would have also been tasty as well. Service: Placed my order at the register and was in and out within 5 minutes. Ambience: Felt like a summer day at a family owned business, no AC on and chill music in the background. Walls have Jamaican flag colors on them. Parking: Not too hard, there is a small lot and street parking in the neighborhood as well.

Came here with a mate on Labour Day (a Monday) and had called before hand to make sure they were open - been eyeing this restaurant for a bit and so glad I finally had the chance to try them out. Here's what we got:- Oxtail plate: $26You can get a small or large; go with the large. Each dish comes with your choice of cabbage, plantain and rice or rice and peas. The oxtail was so flavourful, a good scoop amount, and melted right in my mouth - absolutely get this if nothing else! You get large portions of delicious food at a great price. The plantain was perfectly cooked, complimenting the meat and rice so well, and the cabbage was a much needed veggie balance for everything.- Chicken patty (because they were out of the beef): ~$4 (Not recalling the exact price; sorry.)Fresh and hot, but a little glue-y. The dough was flakey and delicious, but I didn't like this filling so much. I'm curious to try the beef patty. The service is quick and cordial - you order and pay at the counter (they accept card and cash), take a seat, and your food will be out soon. The ambiance is a casual/neighbourhood restaurant vibe. There were a few tables inside with a round large fan to keep everyone cool inside when it gets hot.Parking wise, since this was also the day of the Beyonce concert at SoFi (which is bang opposite the restaurant), the parking lot was starting to get full along with the restaurant due to all the concert-goers stopping by or grabbibg a bite to eat, there were some spots available in the strip mall, but it was rapidly filling up.Pro-tip: If you're stopping by here, etiher for sit-down or take-out, check-out the official Death Row Records office/store nearby!
