Bella Pita

I've been coming here since 2008/2009, when I attended UCLA and lived down the street. Over a decade later, and I'm still routinely driving down from the valley to get my freshly baked chicken wowshi (topped with veggies, tahini, and the very hot hot sauce). The sauce bar is still perfection and they haven't compromised the quality of anything. The icing on the cake is that the food is halal! Also, the staff here is always friendly. In fact, when I went there this evening, I finally got to meet the owner! I couldn't help but gush about how long I've been coming here. Went to grad school, moved to different places, and have lived a whole life since 2008--but Bella Pita has always been a constant. Obviously, I'll be back soon.

I haven't gone to Bella Pita in a couple years and it was just as good as I remembered it from when I was a student at UCLA!!!I personally love their falafel pitas and always load them up with the sauces and vegetables from the free condiment bar. Only downside of Bella Pita is that it's very small and has only four seats available, so sometimes you won't get a seat. Just to add a tip since parking in Westwood is really expensive, I recommend parking either at Ralphs or Target since they offer 2 hour free parking if you go inside and validate.

Bella Pita is right near UCLA. Parking is for a fee and can get pricey.The food is amazing. They have the best pita sandwiches, all made to order and all served warm with fresh pita bread.We Love the kind service and they are fast. You order and pay at the counter and there are a few indoor seats to eat. Many people get it as take away.There is not one thing we don't like there. The prices are fair. Have fun.

I got the chicken wowshi meal with a side of falafel cones (aka falafel in the shape of a hockey puck). The chicken was juicy, portions were big, and it was affordable. You get your protein with your pita and you add the toppings and sauces you want at the self-serve bar. Ate this while watching Across the Spider-verse and it hit.

Incredible! Fresh! So tasty!I just wish they would turn down the music. It is so loud and the bass of the music makes it intolerable to stay and eat indoors which may be their goal. Otherwise, I had the kofta wowshi and it was 10/10. I will be back.

Took my granddaughter to get a felafel sandwich. Usually it is on a scale from 1 to 5 a 4.5/5.Today it was a 2. The cook wasn't good. The patties were not at all cooked, raw inside, not crisp on the outside.

Good food, but absolutely terrible terrible hospitality. Beware of this guy in the picture he makes his own rules to charge money for a box or getting any sauce or salad while eating in or taking it for to go. Certain things they should allow for a better customer experience, provide better packaging for to go, especially for the kind of prices that this place charges. He's extremely rude and just says these are the rules from the boss, which is not true. He makes his own ad hoc rules to charge money. Don't fall for this trap, he will try to embarrass you in front of other customers but stand your ground and not get intimidated by this guy at all. Would request the management or the owner to look into this , other customer have also reported the same in the, on how the staff here is rude and how poorly they provide packaging when trying to take it to go, they make ad hoc rules to charge money. This ad rules is a true true story since some other Manager working on another day does not make or abide by the same rules. Therefore, requesting owner or management to look into this issue and provide customers a better customer service and an environment . Please ensure that the guy in the picture needs to be taught hospitality and strictly refrain from making ad hoc rules to charge extra money to customers based on his will.

Found this place walking by after an appointment at UCLA. What a great place. We both had a chicken pita. Homemade pirate bread, chicken was grilled to perfection. The best part is the condiment bar with many sauces, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, etc.So delicious with great service.
