BBQ+RICE - Silverlake

One of my favorite lunch spots! I got put onto this place by one of my coworkers and I've been back a few times now. I usually order the spicy chicken bowl w/ fried egg, and just recently tried the sweet and spicy KFC side order. Bomb! I haven't been disappointed yet!

Now that's what I'm talking about! This little corner shop may be small in square footage, but it is big in taste and surprisingly even portion (in a part of town where you don't always get the best value for your dollars). I love Bulgogi Beef and this dish here is super savory and filling. The sweetness of the Bulgogi is balanced very well.

A very comforting bowl option with excellent Korean flavors.Nicely portioned, with a good balance of vegetables and proteins, this is a good quick alternative to many other bowl-type options out there where you may have to patronize a sit-down type restaurant.A nice array of proteins and side options gives this semi-grab-and-go restaurant a good choice. Also, the moderately priced menu is certainly an excellent value in today's marketplace. I only wish their rice portion was a bit more.

My daughter found this place and I can't wait to come back!! The menu is limited, but all the protein choices sound so good!! We each had our own bowl, and it was filling. The service was good. The ambiance is simple in this small little shop. You can either sit inside or outside. Street parking is free if you are lucky enough to find parking.

BBq+Rice is a cute lil corner Korean rice bowl shop located at a small plaza on Sunset blvd in Silverlake. Their menu includes traditional items like Bulgogi Rice Bowl, Spicy Pork Bowl, Black Pepper Chicken and our specialty, the Galbi Bowl made with braised short ribs and vegetables. I ordered a Spicy Mayo Chicken. It tastes good; modest portion which match the price. Prices are reasonable and competitive to similar restaurant. Service was on point. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seats. Overall, it's a good Korean BBQ rice bowl. I recommend it.

I ordered BBQ+Rice on uber eats since I was feeling lazy and it did NOT disappoint. I ordered the bulgogi with rice and extra protein that I ended up finishing later on in the day for dinner. It still kept its yummy flavor and amazing texture after the drive. I'll be coming in in person next time. Thank you guys.

This place is so great. Take the time to truly savor all the flavors of the dish and please order the house made Kimchi. The Wok- Fried Tofu was delicious!! Theres a pleasant surprise if you can taste it. Hint, it's pink/fuchsia in color. #deliciousThe service was great and the ambiance is nice and bright. And clean. I'll definitely be back.

Really good! Some of the reviews made me a little hesitant to try, but glad I did!I got the spicy chicken bowl as a gluten free option and it was great. Chicken was good and super flavorful. Prices were reasonable which was refreshing for Silverlake.Lots of seating outside. Really nice guys behind the counter very considerate of allergies.Will return!

Good not great - I feel BBQ+RICE doesn't really stand out in terms of quality or flavor. I found the rice to be gummy and clumpy which means it's overcooked. The Korean fried chicken was also sort of dry but I did like the pickles and the spicy pork. I would come back if I'm rushing to get a meal but I'd rather get Korean inspired food somewhere else after my experience here.

Ordered the spicy pork and fried chicken dumplings, and both were so great! I can't wait to come back and try another option. I also plan to buy some of their takeaway kimchi. The service was great and there's a nice water setup. I think I had fried chicken on the mind because for some reason I thought it was fried chicken - dumplings, like it would be some interesting take with fried chicken lol. It's a chicken dumpling that's been fried . In case anyone is like me.
