We recently dined at BBQ Chung Dam and had a great experience overall. Arriving before the dinner rush made parking easy, as there were spots available in the front. However, we noticed that by the time we left, the lot was blocked off for valet. If you prefer to avoid valet fees or the hassle of finding street parking, it's best to arrive early.The restaurant offers different menu tiers, and we opted for the basic option. We assumed that their bar area would provide additional selections included with all menu choices, and they also had a self-serve salad bar, which was a nice touch.Service was outstanding--attentive and proactive, with servers readily available whenever we needed assistance. As for the food, the meat quality was solid, though we're curious to see how it compares to the higher-tier menus on a future visit.Overall, BBQ Chung Dam delivered a great dining experience with excellent service, decent quality meats, and a comfortable atmosphere. Looking forward to trying more of their menu next time!

We searched all over online and found this place - only opened six months and decided to try it out! I also love Korean barbecue very much, and this place was overall an exceptional experience and value! You get 2 hours for all you can eat, with 4 tiers of meats available to order. - we went with option C - and you can also have unlimited meats at the cold bar - something I've never before seen at kbbq! The quality and flavor was awesome across the board - Definitely order the Wagyu Otoro - it's on the C set but delicious and unexpectedly tasty! We came midday Valentine's Day so it wasn't too busy - but the service was great - with them bringing dishes we should try, turning and cooking our meats, and just being a pleasant addition to the meal! Jackie was our server and was amazing! We will definitely be back - don't miss out on this spot for your next kbbq indulgence!

Celebrated NYE here with AYCE KBBQ and our group ordered the Prime Special tier for $58.88/pp. The entire experience was underwhelming. The meat lacked flavor and the self-serve bar was also disappointing. The only meat that was tasty was the Wagyu Beef Tongue. That was the only meat selection worthy to highlight. To top it off, they ran out of radish during our visit - a staple banchan at most other spots for those that prefer a more refreshing palette other than rice paper. Oddly, the cold spicy noodles still included radish, which made me wonder if they had limited supply and chose to prioritize it elsewhere. For the price point and subpar quality, I'd much rather make the trip to Rowland Heights and enjoy 88Q Korean BBQ, where the quality, variety, and overall experience are far superior for a couple bucks more. Parking is valet only but there's plenty of street parking that's free after 6pm.

One of the top BBQ places around Ktown that offers variety of meat choices at good quality and freshness with affordable price. I love the lunch special. This place also has hot station and salad station that serve many side dishes. The cons that made me deducted two stars were a lack of service attentiveness and meat quality inconsistency. I had to wave several times to order meats on menu (i.e. wagyu) and had to wait for long time for wagyu to be brought out. I don't know if it was the restaurant's strategy to slow people down when ordering premium meats? Also the wagyu quality was not consistent. One plate was tender and juicy and I could see the signature wagyu fat marble, the second plate was a failure, wagyu meat was so chewy and I couldn't see much of the fat marble.

BBQ Chung Dam was a wonderful surprise!!! We went for Choice B which included our favorite cuts: AYCE prime rib eye, wagyu otoro, LA galbi, and tongue. The meat bar also had the staples like pork belly, jowl, bulgogi, etc. The meats were tender, quality, and the ones marinated were just right. The hot bar was a just ok though, no seconds for us (maybe it was just the time we went). SUPER PLUS for service. Lucky if you get Ted to help you. He was accommodating, prompt, and always with a smile!!!Ambiance and decor was an upgrade making it great for special occasions too or if you just want upgrade from your typical KBBQ joint. WILL COME BACK!!!

Got served by Ted and Ryan. Came here for the first time for my birthday and absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend. Got the wagyu otoro and the beef brisket and was definitely the top choices.

True Wagyu!! Such amazing meats they have. The service was on point, Aaron was very helpful he even helped cook the meat .. will definitely come here again , very spacious fits a lot of people

This is the best kbbq In LA. Food was amazing and what really made the experience great was our waiter Aaron. Very attentive and had great professional service. Highly recommend.
