Bastion by Bakers Kneaded is located in the heart of Los Angeles--more specifically inside Grand Central Market. They offer sweets of all kinds including pastries and other desserts; it's such a lovely little bakery. If you're looking for your coffee and latte fix they have it! As I looked through the glass, I noticed it was squeaky clean and everything looked fresh. They even had a vegan cookie so that is what I ordered, it was double chocolate. Although, I am not a huge chocolate fan, I found it so be delicious. Service was great! Tips:If you want a natural fruit juice from The Juice, they are located next door

Such a cute lil bakery inside of Grand Central Market! I was surprised with all the pastry options. I tried the pistachio BK bun, and it was so yummy! I loved the pistachio cream filling and the texture that the actual pistachio pieces provided. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and surprisingly easy/not messy to eat.The barista, Caitlin, worked efficiently and made me a delicious iced americano. Next time I'm in LA, I will definitely make an effort to come back to try the rest of the goodies :)

Every single time I visit the Grand Central Market this is one of the first stands I see and I have been wanting to stop here since forever! There's never a line when I visit and one in a great while there's no one even at the stand so I'm not even sure what the hours are.The baked goods, look beautiful and catch your eye right away. Bakery is definitely instagram worthy! The items are on the pricey side and I don't think they are worth what they charge, but they are located in a very great area where you're just drawn to the beauty of the colors and they definitely know how to market to hungry guests.I didn't think they were amazing. I think the pastries were just okay and I would love to try something different in the future, but I wouldn't see myself going out of my way for the bakery. I do believe that everyone's tastebuds are different, so even though I didn't love it, you might.

Came in here today to grab a coffee. I got a Spanish latte and it wasn't the best. Too much ice and not enough flavor. Server was not in the mood and seemed to be in a rush even though there were no customers.

As President Biden would say, "c'mon man, these are some tasty baked goods Jack". I have been in search of kougin amann perfection in vain since the first (and best) many years ago at B patisserie in San Francisco. I may have found its equivalent here at Bastion. Buttery, at once crunchy from the carmalized sugar to chewy and flaky. Each bite perfectly harmonious decadence.

I was so excited to not only try the viral circular croissant because they're so pretty and fun, but also to have the vibrant pistachio in both color and flavor. However, regardless of the fact that we got there just as the location was opening and everything should be peak freshness for the day, my croissant was VERY disappointing. It was almost stale and the filling lacked the flavor I was hoping for. Very subpar. I did enjoy a latte and the staff were nice and efficient. Such a bummer.

Went EARLY in the morning to get the pistachio croissant. IT WAS STALE! It was too expensive and too early to sell stale food. My friend has also gone here several times and got stale pastries every time. This review is not to put them under. Please Please Please take this as constructive criticism. Sell FRESH food. Bake daily! If they aren't fresh, don't put them out. Thanks!
