Bar Stella is awesome, there's a gentleman bartender who I'm pretty sure puts his heart and soul into every drink he makes. He wears gloves, sports a Tom Selleck moustache, and has an odd resemblance to Moby. "Bring sally up" Moby brings me to my next point, there's no DJ here, but there's some eclectic tunes, can't say I've ever heard phil Collins greatest hits on a Friday night in a bar before. But damn, in the air tonight is pretty epic when all the pretend hipsters don't know it. My only complaint is the same hipsters who can't seem to keep their drink in their hand and spill all over people and the floor, bring an umbrella because you might get WET.

This is a cute spot, but I don't visit it as much anymore because I prefer cheap drinks lol. However, when I'm feeling in the mood to look cute and drop $20 on a drink, I come here! Yes it's usually crowded and loud ... and you probably won't find a seat at the bar unless you get there before 8 or 7pm. Even when it's crowded though, I find that everyone is polite and friendly. Saying "excuse me" is a thing lol.... And someone will always spark a conversation with you. I go out to a lot of bars and this one always has some interesting fun folks. The drinks are supper yummy.. which is why I don't mind spending the money. The staff/ bartenders are obviously very busy most of the night but they are friendly and when they finally get to you .. they are very attentive. My new favorite bartender is Chip. Not only is he cute, but his drinks are always on point! The whole lab coat lol works for me! Music is usually okay. The later the night gets the more crowded it gets and you can't really hear the music as much. I love the disco ball and the lounge sofa areas. I describe the space as cozy but chic. It's a good fall/winter bar.

the vibe here is very millennial and everyone is packed in like sardines. it's extremely loud with no room to breath or dance (there wasn't even music playing). the drinks were good, i got a "last word" and my partner got a skinny margarita. the bartender was doing an amazing job for how busy it was and still made our drinks with intention which i appreciated.

This place is a viiiibe. This is a dope spot to come here with friends or on a date. They play some good music and their cocktails are delicious. Cocktail prices are a bit steep, starting at $20+, but it's worth trying out. Especially their seasonal cocktails. I ordered the C. Arthur cocktail, which was a bourbon based drink. My friend ordered the Norteno cocktail (tequila based drink). Both drinks were good and the service was pretty decent. They have a couple couches inside and a super small patio area, which gets crowded quickly. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again.

Hidden gem. European vibe. Smart mixologists. And you can smoke outside! Only catch is parking sucks.

I went here with my friends recently and we really enjoyed our initial service, the ambiance was amazing and the drinks were good. However when the night was ending I went up to the bar to ask for water. The bar tender (white guy with long blonde hair) mocked me for asking for water and made a joke about me being dehydrated. Honestly it felt borderline racist. The guys sitting next to me also expressed how uncomfortable that interaction made him. I would love to go back but with service like that it's hard to feel welcome when asking for the smallest things, such as water.

Such a cool vibe. Good drinks too. Definitely recommend. Kind of upscale but down to earth. You could wear pretty much anything there.

The drinks were honestly amazing. but just fyi, the general manager did a high five with the bouncer before saying last call and letting us know it was time to leave. They had already given us the heads up and we were aware it was about to close, so I it kinda rubbed us the wrong way. Would still go back and enjoy classic classist silverlake vibes and recommend to whoever on earth, but yeah the high five made me uncomfortable!

The ambiance is cozy and dark, with candles on the bar and a little private patio. The cocktails are pricy, not especially inventive, but expertly made and smoooooth. The well-groomed bartenders are friendly with their friends but aloof toward anyone else. Why I won't come back: the clientele is off-putting.Admittedly, I was there on their Sunday "jazz night", and while I appreciate live music (the band played loud bebop-style jazz, not exactly background music), the crowd that showed up for it was rude and pretentious. Hipsters dressing "poor" while slugging down $20 cocktails ($25 including tax and tip). They seemed like spoiled offspring from rich families who had all been in therapy since childhood. Just not a good vibe.
