We came upon this place by accident while cruising around Atwater Village on a Sunday afternoon. Looking for a bite, the outside tables looked inviting and the menu looked interesting. We ordered and Aperol spritz and a South African chardonnay. Both were refreshing and our server was well versed in the drinks they offered to answer any questions. We also had the Jambon Buerre (french ham sandwich) and the Trout Rillette. Both dishes were visually appealing and the portions were generous. The ham and gruyere sandwich with a pickle spread was proportioned just right between all of the elements and was easily eaten with the chewy, sourdough baguette. The trout rillette was best eaten with a fork and knife, accompanied by a large arugula salad and covered in capers and red onion. Someone knew what they were doing in the kitchen to elevate these dishes to something just a little bit special. Our service was just right - friendly and attentive, just the right amount. Overall we had a really nice and slightly different experience, just what we were looking for.

What a damn charming place. European in style with outdoor patio seating, a few tables inside, and bar seating. I don't really eat meat but I got the burger because that seemed like THE thing to get. I sat at the bar and the bartender took my order. He did not ask me how I wanted my burger done and I actually appreciate that because it came out as it should. Perfectly cooked, delicious, and came with a simple pickle. $21 is a lot to pay for a burger but it was such a pleasant experience, I didn't mind.I should deduct a star for lack of a dessert menu. This is further supported by the fact they only had one dessert item available and it did not involve chocolate. I mean... come on. Seriously? It was bread pudding. I'm sure it's delicious but the lack of a chocolate option took the wind out of my dessert sails.Nevertheless, I'm keeping this at 5 stars and this is further supported by two other people I overheard saying they were there the previous night as well.

I've tried Bar Sinizki several times now, and I've found it to be a great spot! While I've dined their solo and with friends, I think the restaurant's potential comes best into focus when you can share a variety of plates. I've tried a few of their tartines, and my favorite is the trout rillette; it melds a creamy fish spread with tart capers on a slice of toasted bread. I've grown to appreciate their Caesar salad after a second try. At first, I found it unbalanced with too much lettuce, but when I tried it again I thought it had an ample amount of dressing and cheese with a smattering of boquerones and one sizable crouton. They offer a full beverage menu, and my go-to is the Aviation (a gin-based cocktail that has a hint of tartness and a charming lavender color from the crème de violette). They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and I've found service to be generally consistent and attentive.

Bar Sinizki is my fav cute place in the area. The food is the best part but both the service and the decor are great. I love the rich and bold flavors Bar Sinizki offers. All the dishes look simple yet you won't be able to make them this good at home. My fav is of course Pierogi. I recommend ordering this dish if you like rich buttery flavor. Anyway everything tastes good here :-)

First time at this cafe in Atwater Village. Our timing was good and we got seated immediately on a busy Sunday morning.Very limited menu at various times during the g the morning. We didn't notice that at first and both decided on something that was on the 11am menu but both quickly found something to order on the earlier menu.PS limited menu is fine.We had various people serving us over the time we were there (almost 2 hours) - water was filled at a somewhat regular basis and my flat white was really good. We both ordered 2 eggs - one over easy, one over hard. Both came over easy - which I was fine with as I ordered over easy Slight schemer of cheese on toast but will say top notch food. The arugula was well dressed and the toast was delish. The reason I didn't give a higher star rating was because of the service. We ordered a non alcoholic drink that could not be provided because the bartender wasn't on until 11. Our server said he would check on if someone could make the drink for us and didn't come back until 45 minutes AFTER we had finished eating. We finally had to call someone to send him over to us. And she gave us supreme attitude and was quick to say his tardiness was NOT her fault. We were in good spirits through all this but my friend had to get to work - we initially were going to not say anything to see how long it would really take. When the server came he comped our coffee which was kind. He said they were having organizational issues (it's been open for a while so I didn't get that). We counted at least 8 servers while we were there so maybe there was something weird going on.Not going to hold this against the restaurant because the food was tasty (but $18 for two eggs was a bit steep) and will not not go because of this. We did see the humour in the situation. Can we blame it on the fact that the clocks fell back last night?

Cute little spot that opened up in the neighborhood. Mix between a cafe and bar. They have a good amount of coffee drinks, pastries, and some breakfast plates that are only available between 9am-11amThey have a good amount of cocktails , wines, and beers for a great place to grab drinks before heading out with friends or your special someone or even yourself. The food menu is a little small with the mains including a burger, steak frites, salads, and some sandwiches. We ordered the bistro burger, maslo z synznki (ham and cheese baguette), and Caesar salad. And of course... fries to share! The burger was pretty tasty with caramelized onions on that super soft Bub and Grandmas potato bun. Also came with a crunchy pickle $18The Ham and Cheese Baguette was loaded with ham and good amount of Dijon and salted butter $18Caesar salad was also large and dressed moderately with a nice amount of anchovies. Yummy hahaSad they were out of Bread Pudding by 6pmThe servers/staff were friendly and attentive. There is some seating inside with additional seating out front. The Aviation was our fav drink!

Cocktails are terrific here. The kielbasa has great snap. Would have appreciated more braised cabbage to compliment the spicy mustard and sausage. The pierogi is filling and tasty. There is a lot of bread on the menu and it is featured in their only dessert - bread pudding. The prices are all on the high side but it doesn't deter the crowds. The bar was crowded when we arrived and the tables filled up shortly after we arrived.

Bar Sinizki in Atwater Village is the kind of place where you walk in, order a drink, and feel like you're part of some underground society of hipsters and Eastern European grandmas. The cocktails? They're working on it.Then the food arrives, and here's the deal: it's like they hired an artist instead of a chef because these portions are tiny. We're talking "bite-sized and gone before you can really commit" small. Dumplings that vanish after one bite. Little crispy potatoes that leave you contemplating each morsel like it's a lost lover. Steak Frites should be Frites Steak. But man, it's good--so good that you forgive them. Just don't show up starving, or you'll be the person asking if they can grab you a lamb sandwich from Dune next door.

I'm walking distance and been a few times. It's small, but cozy. Impeccable European bistro atmosphere with food and drinks at similar quality.Menu's somewhat simple, leaning "lunch" but artisan ingredients elevate. Impressive cocktails with craft amaros and rare Euro liquors that are fun to try alone (similar to Nico's down the street).Pierogis - Must order! I've had elsewhere and didn't understand why they could warrant so much praise until I realized how much the brown butter sauce makes them insanely delicious.Raw Zucchini Salad - Not a lover of Zucchini, I was shocked how much I loved it. Perfectly balanced, but off menu now since out of season. Hopefully will come back :)Bistro Burger - Decadent. I understand the praise it gets, but I prefer a bit more balance with fresh veggies/texture.Trout Rillette Tartine - Pillowy soft, light, and delicious.Baguette & Butter - 3 types of bread with butter covered in sea salt. Dreamy simplicity that helps the craft bread pop.Salami Tartine - It was fine, but the Danish Rye bread was so good, it kind of outshines.Golden Hour - Have to specifically endorse this cocktaile because I've never had Suze and it was exactly the curiously unique flavor that's fun to discover.Haven't been for breakfast and the seasonally changing menu begs for revisits. This place is transportive with impressive effort put into menu, drinks, and atmosphere. Hard not to have a good time. Great neighborhood and hip people watching.

I only had drinks here so I'll have to do a second review once I've eaten. But as for the drinks, I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed about this spot. Maybe it's the hype or the location or the look, but I was expecting more. Bluntly, the bartenders didn't really feel that knowledgeable and the cocktails were full of tiny ice shards which quickly watered down the drink and really undermined its flavor. This means 1) that they use cheap ice; and 2) they don't double strain. I know that's a bit nerdy and nitpicky, but I would have expected more from the bar program at a place like this.
