Inside the Citizen Public Market food hall . Street metered parking, casual Indoor and outdoor patio dining options. Made to order hands pulled fresh noodles , were star of the meal. Noodles have a nice chewy texture , not mushy or overly soft. Just a perfect bite. I decided on tingly cumin beef noodles , sauce were perfect for me and my Mr. I must inform that this dish has a strong lingering herb taste of cumin and Szechuan pepper spice. The szechuan garlic noodles is milder in flavor compared to the tingly since I opted to have broth instead of dry style. Noodles on the menu can have a choice of dry or with broth and any type of protein . I Highly recommend their cucumber salad it has a perfect crunch with a balance of sweet , tart and a milder flavor of spice.. definitely paired well with the spicy and savory noodles. Wonderful service we received by the gentleman who took our order and he was also made our hand pulled noodles . Appreciate his thoughtful recommendations and knowledge of the menu were very helpful in helping us decide on what we ordered. ( I have his permission to the video of him making the noodles)

Boyfriend really wanted to visit this spot as he had good memories of visiting a couple of years ago when they were a pop-up.Location is super cute, so that's a plus, but we were a bit disappointed with the food.Skip the cucumber salad-- it's a good portion but a bit bland.Next time, I'd try the Szechuan style noodles. The tingly noodles were not as flavorful as I expected for this style/cuisine, though the limited seasoning underneath the veggies were good.Food looks completely different from their website :( The staff explained nicely that they had changed their recipe a little while ago but asked what my bf had liked previously, which was nice.Room for improvement but as is, won't be going again.

Okay, so I really wanted to love this place because I'm a huge fan of hand-pulled noodles. However, as a Chinese person who's had a lot of hand-pulled noodles in her life, maybe my expectations are too high for a place like Culver City. Don't get me wrong. I think overall for people who have never had Chinese hand-pulled noodles before, this is a GREAT introduction to it. I highly recommend still trying these out. However, I got the Dry Spicy Cumin Beef and I do have some critiques for the dish. First of all, I felt like there could have been more flavor to the dish. Second of all, the texture of the noodles felt a little too soft and they kind of stuck together. Dare I say... it's not as bouncy as the other hand-pulled noodles I tried? Finally, for the price of $18, I expected a bigger portion size I was expecting more noodles in that bowl. I think comparatively speaking if anyone has ever had Very Fresh Noodles at Chelsea Market in New York, I think Very Fresh Noodles by far has better texture and portion size. Don't let this review deter you though! I do think TikTok tends to overhype certain restaurants. I just want to set the right expectations. I would still highly recommend trying out this place for yourself if you are curious about hand-pulled noodles.

A friend recommended this place to us. We found a random parking structure behind the restaurant and parked there since there was no street parking. The restaurant was located inside a food court area with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We got the szechuan garlic chicken dry noodles and tingly cumin beef dry noodles. The garlic noodles were tasty and tangy. The cumin beef was not so great. It had a weird after taste and I got really tired of the flavor after a few bites. The noodles were all handmade so they were different thickness and lengths. I wish the flavors were more vibrant and refreshing. The flavoring just wasnt there for both dishes.

Amongst the many delicious choices in the Citizen Public Market food hall, you can get your fix for hand pulled noodles at Bang Bang noodles. I like that you can see the noodles being pulled in front of you which gives you some entertainment while waiting for your food. There's a handful of options here for different preferences of meat and flavors and they all sound delicious, including some options that are less spicy. I got the Dry lamb noodles which had a comfortable amount of spice/numbness to them and a good tanginess from the sauce. The noodles were the right amount of chewy and there was plenty of cabbage/veggies on top and a decent amount of lamb. However, overall the flavors did feel a little bland and did not shine. For the price of the bowl being nearly $20 (which is expected in this area of downtown Culver), I think I had a bit higher of expectations.I think some of this is due to the assembly of the dish and the container they served it in which made it less than ideal. The bowls are paper so the noodles stuck to it and just didn't incorporate very well with the sauce/oil. The ingredients are sort of piled on top with the meat first and then the cabbage on top, which actually made it a bit difficult to eat in such a small bowl since you have to dig through everything to get to the noodles. The bowl is quite small compared to what gets put in it too so it's difficult to mix around if needed. The service was really personable so thanks to the staff! The seating throughout the market is really cute and it wasn't at all crowded on an early weekday evening.

Walked past this winding market so many times and never knew there were hidden games like Bang Bang inside. Definitely check out the Citizen Market and get yourself some noods. I felt like I was in New York's Chelsea Market. We got the Szechuan Noodles and they did not disappoint. They make the noodles right in front of you and they really satisfy to cravings.

It's in a food court type area and there's free 1 hr parking in an underground lot near the stoplight nearby. We went on a weekday afternoon and there was no line. We got the garlic beef and sesame minced pork and both were good options for people who either like spice or don't like spice respectively. The noodles were super chewy and thick.

Very flavorful noodles we great consistency. A little hard to pull them apart with chopsticks because they were so thick. The seating is a little crowded and right infront of the entrance which is a little inconvenient. Standard service.

Located in Culver City's Citizen Public Market. They hand pull their own noodles so it's a fun display as you walk by. The guy who helped me figure out what to order was really nice and threw in a free side of cucumbers. I ordered the tingly cumin noodles with lamb. Decently large portion and it looked beautiful, fresh, and colorful. I hate to say it, but I honestly really didn't like the flavor. The cumin flavor with the lamb just did not work at all. Very off-putting. The noodles themselves were thick and may have been better if paired with a different sauce/seasoning. Really think they need to rethink that sauce, I could only take a couple bites before tossing it. My friends all tried a bite too and they agreed there was something weird about the flavor. Lots of "oh no"s from the group. The side of cucumbers were the best part, they were crunchy and well-seasoned.
