Asahi Sushi

Third time trying this place and the sushi is very tasty. However I have noticed that even with a happy hour menu their prices are what it should cost to get the sushi normally. However we did get alcohol so that probably is what raised our price.... Service wise they are pretty attentive and somewhat nice, nothing to rave over. Ambiance is calming inside, dark atmosphere, I liked the classical music, it made it relaxing. I think I'll try this place one more time because again their sushi is very fresh.

I do takeout from here every so often but every time give eaten there on site the servers have been super rude or closed out my check without me paying or just ignored me the entire time to the point where I had to ask several people for my check. Its fine for takeout, not a good experience dining in

Let me get straight to the point - how on earth do you feel comfortable charging a gratuity fee on a PICK UP order? I thought it had to be some sort of error when I couldn't change the $14 gratuity line item before placing my pickup my order, so I decided to call.When I called, I was told they don't do over the phone orders anymore and was then directed to use the website. I told them I tried the website, but that it was automatically charging gratuity and they said that's their policy now. I said okay, never mind, and took my business elsewhere.If you think I'm paying a preset gratuity fee on a pickup order, you're out of your damn mind.

Came here for years. Would refer to it as McDonalds Sushi as it in a former golden arches location. Now that it's been remodeled, it's a much nicer dining experience. Food is consistent and delicious. Nice that Happy Hour ends 7:00pm. Lots of parking. Nice atmosphere. Servers are all experienced and quick to take order and complete service.

Our regular sushi spot. Quick and yummy. Recommend the shishito peppers and seaweed cucumber salad. All their food is good. Haven't to order something and be disappointed. Sushi is fresh.

The sushi was good however the rolls are what did it for us. The sushi had a very strong wasabi flavor. Staff were nice and quick.

This place was a nice surprise! Didn't expect to have great Japanese restaurant in Granada Hills. The place is very cozy. The sushi was fresh and the bento meals were reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

My favorite local spot yet I haven't been in a few months and they did a very nice update to interior and outside patio area. The updates look like what you might find in a small sushi spot in Japan. Earthy, warm and simple lines and colors have created a very pleasant atmosphere. I enjoyed lunch by myself today which I haven't done in a while. I ordered my usual cucumber salad, BSCR well done and a 101 roll. They did not disappoint. Tasty and fresh with a beautiful presentation. Service is always on point. $$ menu items but worth it. Large portions are able to be shareable.

Came here to say for happy hour either my mom. The price is really good for the quality of the food. Our server was really sweet and attentive. It's a cute little spot. And to top it off you don't have to struggle with parking because there is a big lot.

Quick service and very polite waiters! Baked Mussel: Delicious and creamy. A MUST!Ranked from most to last favorite: Geisha Roll, Kings Roll, Philadelphia Roll. The fish was fresh and rolls were delicious, but not too overwhelming!
