My husband and I had a lovely first timer late brunch here last Sunday. The menu was very unique but would appeal to many different tastes. Bc we arrived an hour before close, they had a few items not available - but wasn't an issue. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We decided to try the pineapple bun w/ bacon, egg, cheese and the kabocha congee porridge, along with a cold brew and an iced green tea. We then treated to the lovely back patio as our dishes were prepared. The Bjork photo exhibit throughout the courtyard (and 3 inside) was a nice touch! Patio is special and comfortable, with many tables and shade. Dishes and tray were very cool design element to accomplish the delicious food. Quality and portion on point. We were full and satisfied the entire day -- nourished! What a gem. Will def visit sooner than later. Appreciate this in our neighborhood.

The place is hidden. The sit-down place is behind the store front.Food is comfort and delicious with decent portion. The presentation is unique and IG-ready. Love how a traditional pineapple bun is used as a sandwich bun. A delightful surprise!Crew members are friendly.

Cute spot with yummy food. You order at the counter, they have a nice courtyard in the back to enjoy your food. We ordered the Bolo breakfast sandwich with the Salvadoran chorizo and it was delicious. The combination on the sweet pineapple bun with the salty chorizo made for a nice flavor combo. The French toast had a nice custard like middle. The iced morro latte was good. The lattes were good as well but could have been hotter.

I tried the Bolo Breakfast sandwich. I added a Salvadoran chorizo patty. This sandwich is served on Chinese pineapple buns. It's slightly sweet, and big, golden and flaky like a regular biscuit- the sweet is a surprise. The sausage was also great, and not too greasy. The aji verde sauce is usually served with lunch options but please ask for it on anything and everything! For coffee, I had the El Morro cold brew. It was so sweet and had some real kick to it. They've got some good beans here.As a Bjork Djork, I could not pass up the opportunity to view this exhibit. I was sold on the zine and also a t-shirt. The Bjork exhibit photos are inside and outside all over, too. There's seating inside and outside in the back patio area. There's also a bar at the back, and a there is a restroom for customers and free water. Street parking can be tricky but it's pretty ample. At most you'll walk a block.

Oh em gee I have just the highest praise for this place. What an absolute gem of a spot. Maybe not like, physical location since there was some guy urinating on the tree right outside, but the actual experience if this place is great. Note that there is no indoor seating, but they have a cute outdoor patio in the back with tables aplenty. We were there on a Saturday for brunch and had no trouble at all finding a spot. It was very chillaxed. We got:- Bolo breakfast sando, with soft pillowy bolo bun whose top flakes off just like it should, and runny scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. You can add meat to this.- Bolo mushroom sando. This was so so amazing. Like, I wanted to go the next day to get this again. Not sure what they use to season the mushrooms, but it tastes like pulled pork, and comes with some onions and pickles inside. (Arroz & Fun, hear me out. How about adding the seasoned mushrooms as an optional add-on to your breakfast sandwich? Please?)- The chichurro. Basically a 油條 but make it churro. With condensed milk. - El Morro over ice, which is like a horchata flavor sweet cream on coffee. Amazing.- Cappuccino. This was solid, and probably the least exciting thing we got.Parking is not too bad, mostly street, and you can park in the residential neighborhoods. Service was good and friendly. Can't wait to go back.

This spot has amazing food, drinks, and art. We got the bolo pollo, veggie egg rolls, vanela panilla latte, and spiced mocha. The drinks were well crafted and the food tasted like it was out of a fine dining restaurant. The space is clean, well organized, and adorned with photos of Bjork that were taken by Spike Jonze. We took a walk outside on their patio after eating our food and it really elevated our entire experience here. It's such a unique spot!

Nothing but amazing things to say about this location. Tasty fusion and relaxing back patio to enjoy your meal. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with the chorizo patty added. Bun was sweet and perfectly paired with the egg and chorizo. This will be a must have when I return. The chicken adobo bowl, it was a bit on the saltier side today (this was my second time back). Stacked on top of a bed of rice. It is a great share. The French toast! Perfect sweet dessert to end your brunch. Yes dessert, don't judge, I'm sure you'll make the same justification as myself.

So proud to see fellow Salvadorians doing amazing things! I was so happy to be here and see the beautiful coffee shop, decor and outside patio. But most importantly was to try the coffee. Gardenia was so nice and informative about the coffee. Thank you Gardenia! I saw the menu before coming and immediately knew what I wanted to try first. I ordered El morro which is a cold brew topped with Morro cream. (Semilla de morro y'all) that made me so excited as I believe that Salvadorian horchata is the best! Also, to me it's Salvadorian, or is it Salvadoran? No, it's Salvadorian haha They have a few other signature drinks and their regular coffee drinks as well. I plan on coming back and try more + their food items as well!

Randomly found out about this place via IG and the Latin Asian fusion caught my eye. I saw they had a bolo bun chicken sandwich that also had kimchi on it. That one was a 10/10 sandwich. Lots of cool flavors going on with those mix of ingredients. The rice dish was great as well. Never thought of adding 5 spice to fries but they did here and now it just makes sense. The Chinchurro was a fun play off the Chinese donut and churro and was like the cherry on top of this fun and interesting meal. They serve coffee here as well. I got the mocha banana!I highly recommend coming and trying this place out!!!

Food - 4/5Really came here for the pineapple bun sandwiches. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich. I think they used the thigh of the chicken which made this sandwich super tasty. It was massive and pretty messy. I ended up splitting it into two meals, but still delicious as left overs. The coffee was just ok. What caught my attention about this place was the sandwich but if coffee is an option I'm always going to try itService - 5/5The staff was nice and friendly. They made some recommendations when my friend and I struggled to pick what to orderAmbiance - 4/5There was supposed outdoor seating but I didn't see it and took my sandwich for the road. The inside of the cafe itself was cute but small Not sure if I'd ever get the coffee again but I'll be back for another sandwich
