It was really perfect. The food was delicious, the service was so nice, and the vibes are spectacular. We were able to walk in on a Wednesday with no issues. I used to be a big fan of Yellow House cafe, so I was a pretty bummed when they closed. But I love what Anju House has done with the place. You can feel the charm of the old restaurant beneath the modern updated decor. I feel like vibe is flexible: you can enjoy the traditional, cuter cafe experience like what Yellow House had during the day and transition to a more pub-like environment at night. Our servers were so nice and helpful. They made great recommendations except maybe the Mayo Shrimp which wasn't as crispy or saucy as I would've liked. The kimchi bacon pasta is as yummy as ever and sooo creamy. The Korean fried chicken with green onion salad they recommended was really good. And I went to town on the Animal Style Fries. I was driving, so I couldn't drink. But I feel like it would be really fun to enjoy some beer or soju along with your meal.It honestly was such a perfect experience. The menu is huge, so I'd love to come back to try more items along with more kimchi bacon pasta.

They got rid of the BOGO... sad sad sad. I have yet to find a food item that was good here, sadly. - Penne Carbonara 1.3/5A very very sad pasta. Look at the noodle to topping ratio. Slightly creamy, tasted like reduced milk and added cheese. - Bulgogi Tteokbokki 1.7/5No sauce, wouldn't really call it a Tteokbokki.. it's like stir fried rice cake and overcooked sweet beef. - Calamari 4.2/5Fried really well. The calamari on the inside is slightly stringy but overall yummy.- Corn Cheese 4.7/5Basic corn cheese, not too sweet. - Garlic Furikake Fried Chicken 1.8//5The chicken is completely overcooked. It's dry. Fried well and tasted okay. Valet parking

The food was pretty much bar food and side dishes that pair well with soju. We all shared an order of the friend chicken, kimchi pancake, bacon pasta, and chili shrimp. Everything was pretty good. There's nothing really special about it other than it's kinda off the beaten path. It was very busy and service was alright. We had to flag somebody down each time we needed something. There's so many options in ktown that I am not sure I'd be back. Also they have warning signs everywhere to not park in the plaza next door because apparently the security guard makes it his mission to call the tow truck to ruin your night lol

Food absolutely delicious. We had the bulgogi stir fry, garlic shrimp and fries dumplings. The bulgogi was seasoned well and the vegetables were the right amount of soft and none of was overly drenched in sauce. The garlic shrimp could use more garlic (that could be just a me thing), it can with a white sweet sauce which was nice but not needed. The dumplings were really good not overly fried and the sweet and spicy dipping sauce was great.Service was nice. Host, waiters and busters were all attentive and friendly. Ambiance was mellow cool. Seating is in the back of the house/building and it's set up as a lounging dining place.

Immaculate vibes. Wide menu selection, yet everything we ordered was a hit. The cracked corn is a must order and is highly addictive. The kimchi pancake was crispy. We also got the leek and pork belly and crispy gopchang with garlic, which paired well with the soju. The rose tteokbokki was satisfying, and the seafood risotto was delicious and creamy. As for drinks, we got two bottles of jinros back (sooo smooth) and a melona pitcher, which had a slight slushy texture and was a great "chaser." The staff was so kind to give us a bottle of soju on the house.

This is one of our go-to spots and will always be a partof our go-to spots. The kimchi pasta here does not disappoint. Every time we dine here, we get the kimchi bacon pasta; it's always tasted phenomenal. The squid and pork belly are also very delicious. The right amount of veggies is added, which are also super tasty and cooked beautifully. Every bite was so relaxing and satisfying. The atmosphere here is super laidback. There are lots of screens, which is a great spot to pick if you ever want to watch a game with friends. Study sessions here are also great; lots of big spaces, and the noise level is minimal on a regular day. The staff is top-notch. Very attentive and friendly. What can I say? This place has it all.

Anju House is where...Yellow House used to be! I KNEW it looked familiar!Like its Ktown predecessor, Anju House retains its homey-like feel, very quaint, very cute, very cozy. The patio was definitely revamped, and it is much more welcoming and modern looking. I love the string lights in the back - just a perfect place to catch up with friends and have a warm meal.We were starving when we came here, hadn't eaten all day. We got seated immediately. We ordered:SEAFOOD RISOTTO (5/5): Insanely delicious. Very heavy and creamy. You'll probably be stuffed within a few bites...or maybe I was just eating too quickly lol, but I definitely needed to split it into two meals. Even as leftovers, this tasted AWESOME.KIMCHI BACON PASTA (4/5): If you like kimchi or spicy stuff, this is def for you! I felt like it was a bit too spicy for my liking, especially since I have reflux lmao. The pasta was cooked well, and it was spicier than expected, the type that builds. So this also became a second meal!CRACKED CORN (5/5): Absolutely incredible, a must order for an appetizer! I had never heard of this dish before, but it was basically fried(?) corn in what tasted like light tempura/egg coating with Mexican spice and condensed milk drizzled on top. I know, sounds chaotic. But it was mind-blowing. The light crunch of the fried exterior mixed with the spicy sweet toppings...*chef's kiss* You won't regret getting this!SPICY GOPCHANG (4/5): Gopchang is always good. This was a dish of beef small intestines. It was wonderfully cooked, a bit crispy on the outside, gushy on the inside, bursting with flavor. It's a bit expensive for how much you get, but I suppose gopchang is always on the pricier end. Minus one star for the price but the taste was awesome.Portions for the pasta are HUGE. Like truly so worth the price and amazing value. Service is fast as well. Since the restaurant is all outdoors, it is dog friendly!! Valet parking at the front, but you can probably find street parking around the area like we did!

Located in a residential street and next to another restaurant you first get thrown off walking in because you have to continue walking into the back patio where the magic begins. We all love BOGO and that's what they have with the beer and soju. So sit back have a drink and get ready for some tasty food. The portions are nice and big and the corn cheese and the chicken with beef were off the chart. The photos do it more justice. We finished everything off the plate. The service is good the only caveat is the street parking.

been bookmarked forever and finally got to try :Don the outside it's like a lil blue house hehe and interior is homey patio vibes ~ not as rowdy as other pochas and service is v naice we got soju and dessert on the house yaywe ordered: bacon kimchi pasta (yommy!), furikake garlic fried chicken (not as much furikake flavor as i would've liked, but soft), corn cheese (not the typical flavor; i think it's sweeter because it's canned corn), 2 beers (terra and cassa), 1 soju fresh (with lemons ofc), and 1 yakult soju cocktail (sweet!)valet is $5 since parking is tuff

Pretty sure this is where Yellow House Cafe used to be, and the menu and vibes of the place are fairly similar to how I remember Yellow House being. I love sitting in the outdoor area in the back in particular, it's super cozy and cute and a great spot to sit and hang out with some friends. Also one of the only restaurants in Ktown that is open throughout the afternoon on weekends and allows dogs :) Service has always been really quick whenever I've been here, despite it being crowded or more quiet. My favorite dish that I've tried here is definitely the spicy chicken with cheese. The dish is so flavorful and has a great spice kick, and has such a generous serving of chicken and veggies, with melted cheese on top. I've also tried the seafood pancake, spicy seafood udon, and bibimbap and all are solid choices too!
