Phenomenal food, phenomenal service, phenomenal atmosphere. A true hidden gem in weho. I took my mom here for a special birthday, and when I say the staff rolled out the red carpet - I truly mean it.I will certainly be a repeat diner!

My husband and I came here about a month ago for a date night, and the experience wasn't the best. The ambiance was beautiful, drinks were good, but the food was where they lacked. We started with burrata, bread, and french onion soup which were okay, my husband said the soup had too many onions for the small amount of broth. I ordered the gnocchi to be told they were out for the night, which was disappointing. I understand ingredients run out though so I asked our server what else he recommended since I'm vegetarian to be told there's really no options for me. Our server then offered to have the chef make me a creamy pasta dish which I agreed to. I appreciate them making something off menu to accommodate me, however it was just butter and cheese noodles. Our server was wonderful and really tried his best to give us a great experience, however I'm surprised that a restaurant in Hollywood had little to no vegetarian options. In addition to this, my husband had the 'filet de boeuf' (beef filet) and it was extremely tough and dry, and when we walked past the kitchen on our way out he said he saw a lot of pre-prepared beef filets sitting in a pan to be used which explained why his was the way it was. There are hundreds of nice restaurants in LA and definitely feel that there's better options that have it all - ambiance, good drinks, service, and food.

Enchanting and romantic atmosphere. Very attentive service as well as helpful. We enjoyed our food selections, the Comté Foam EggTruffle Savory Porridge, Poached Egg and Fresh Truffle and the Lavender Honey Duck BreastCarrot Puree, Roasted Endive, Truffle Polenta, Romanesco and Duck Jus all made it a delightful experience. There is a small Library Room, as you enter the Salon, and when finishing it was encouraged to write something and put the note in any book. Can you imagine going through all the books and reading each thought? Very special! Amour is a lovely place.

Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the food here. The ambiance is nice, however the music is way too loud for such a place. The only food item we liked was the goat cheese salad. We expected to get at least fresh bread and butter in a French restaurant but even the bread was stale and seemed reheated. The worst part was when they sent someone to take pictures of couples at the restaurant and then charge them $22 for each photo. This was such a cheap sales tactic and not at a level of an upscale restaurant. We felt ambushed. Unfortunately, we will not go back.

The restaurant's ambiance is undeniably charming, with a quintessentially French aesthetic that transports you straight to Paris. The interior décor is elegant and thoughtfully designed, setting the perfect stage for a romantic evening. Live music enhances the experience, adding a sophisticated and intimate touch that makes it ideal for couples looking to celebrate a special occasion. The presentation of the dishes is polished, with every plate arriving as a testament to the chef's attention to detail. The flavors are just as impressive, with each bite showcasing the finesse of French cuisine. But the service fell drastically short of expectations. I requested a change of seating after finding my assigned table less than satisfactory. To my disappointment, I was met with resistance. The staff initially claimed that the only available table was unstable. When I pointed out another section with empty seats, I was told they were reserved despite the fact that I had also made a reservation. To make matters worse, I witnessed another party being seated at a table nearby shortly after my request was denied. The inconsistency in service was frustrating and puzzling. On what was meant to be a special celebration for my birthday, I was left with a sour taste due to the poor handling of such a simple request. It's one thing to enjoy great food and a beautiful setting, but service plays a crucial role in the overall experience. Unfortunately, because of this negative interaction with the staff, I find it hard to consider returning, no matter how exquisite the food may be. The indifference of the waiter was enough to spoil an otherwise promising evening.

The good: The design, the vibes, location, Stunning outdoor patioThe bad: Prices - but that's just LA right nowSo let's be clear here this review is based on expected value for cost and at a $376 bill for 2 people with 2 cocktails each - this new French stunner is just a bit too pricey without the taste to back it up. They also didn't have tap water meaning 2 bottles of flat water also added $20 to this bill plus a mandatory 4% wellness charge. Everything here was a bit bland, the standouts were the steak tartare, the Amuse bouche, Asparagus Tartare and cocktails. The misses? Blue Prawn Carppaccio and all the mains. Steak was underwhelming, potatoes were too salty, and the dessert was nothing to write home about. Overall - I'd come here to meet a group of gorgeous people on the edge of WeHo for some cocktails and appetizers but save your money on a full meal. This is a STUNNING patio as well great for a date - so if the weather is good take advantage of that for sure.

Celery root carpaccio was the best for me. Folx loved it. The music was good, however too loud. We had a "quiet" table but it was hard for us to hear from each other. There was intense incense smell throughout like we walked into an incense store. These things were remedied to the degree possible with the help of the lovely amazing hosts. I moved the intense stick that I didn't realize was right at our table. I thought it was coming out of the A/C ! And they turned down the music some. Lower music would grant the fifth star.Strange comment: our server wore nylon gloves in black (like nurses do). It's a fancy french kinda place so I get the gloves, totally, I would just make them cloth.

Came for Dinner with my four friends. Cool Candle lit ambiance. However, as other reviews have mentioned the 80's music was a bit loud and did not quite match the ambiance.Appreciate that they were able to accommodate a last minute reservation for us.I feel like most of standout dishes from before have been removed the menu. This seasons menu seems more traditional. Frankly it's kinda hard to tell this menu apart from other similar resteraunts the area especially since yelp doesn't seem to have pictures of the most recent items.Contrary to other prior reviews bread and butter is no longer complimentaryWe felt our server was kind of rude. There was nothing overtly rude he did but his overall demeanor came off as a bit condescending. It kinda ruined the mood for us. This was my biggest issue We ordered:The frog legs: nothing to write home about. 4 pieces. Slightly spiced batter (I think) served with aioli. I think they need to switch up this dish entirely as the elevated fish and chips approach is a little too plain. For the price it's not quite worth it.Carbonara: friend liked it. Solid. Of similar quality to any upscale Italian restaurantLobster Tagieltelle: lobster lumps were big and were fresh. However both my friends were not fans of the pasta. Said it was not quite like a pasta but more like an Asian noodle that was undercooked. The duck: Very good. Portions a bit small but that was expected. Duck skin was properly spiced and crispy. Meat was perfectly cooked and matched well with the orange rum sauce. Carrot confeit was delicious. A sophisticated mixture of tangy, sweet and umami emblematic of what I would expect of such an establishment
