Wow this place is fantastic! It's an adorable little place that is serving up some amazing Mexican food! This very clean restaurant is decorated so tastefully. It's bright and inviting playing tasteful Mexican music. This is an order at the counter style restaurant with Very friendly staff . They do bring the food to you though which is nice. We ordered the chilaquiles verdes which were incredible. Salsa is great with the tiniest little kick of spice. Delish pickled onions, queso fresco, pinto beans, and crema! Only thing missing is the eggs which is an extra charge. The breakfast sandwich is also very delicious. Brioche bun stuffed with scrambled eggs, pickled onions, marinated grape tomatoes, queso fresco, and perfectly cooked thick cut bacon. Cappuccino and cortado were great too. Oh and minor thing but the dishware are so cool!Overall this is a gem and will definitely be coming back to try the lunch menu.

Places like this make me proud of my Mexican heritage! There's so much more to our cuisine than just tacos, and Amor a Mi showcases that beautifully. If you're seeing complaints about pricing, do yourself a favor and ignore them--quality ingredients and good food aren't cheap. If you're looking for budget eats, Del Taco is that way.I had a latte with almond milk and café de olla syrup, and wow--I've never tasted anything like it. Brewjo knows exactly what he's doing. If you've been to Mirate in Atwater Village, you already know his drinks are top-tier.The Americano with café de olla syrup was bold, smooth, and absolutely delicious. The Mocktail de Aguachile was light, refreshing, and had the perfect hint of lime. Can't wait to try more of their mocktails!Oh, and all their syrups? Made in-house!Now, about the Green Chilaquiles--maybe it's because I'm a pocha and wasn't raised on super spicy food, but these packed a punch for my coconut butt. Still, they were absolutely delicious, and I kept eating! The beans layered at the bottom added so much flavor. I topped it off with their house-made version of Tabasco, which was so flavorful and tasty that I hope they start selling it one day.I sat at the bar and had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, La Cookies (short for Maria Refugio), and Chef Enrique. Their passion for quality food and ingredients shines through in every bite. The restaurant is absolutely stunning, filled with chucherías that instantly transport you to Mexico. From the resortera (Mexican slingshot) to the tejuino fermenting on the shelf, every detail feels authentic. The luchador décor, the chairs, the traditional Mexican walls, and that gorgeous counter--ugh, they didn't miss a single detail when it comes to the ambiance. It truly feels like a little piece of Mexico!

Cute new local cafe and restaurant! The decor is super cute , reminds me of any small town home/kitchen in Mexico. I love their choice of plates and mugs. You order at the front and they bring your order to you. They have a good selection of coffee and teas. You can jazz any of them up with one of their house made syrups. I went with de la olla syrup which gave my latte that nostalgic early morning cinnamon sweet taste. For food I went with the Avocado Toast ($17):Toasted sourdough, loads of sliced avocado, garlic aioli and chimichurri, queso fresco, pickled onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and gooseberries. This was a delicious hearty toast with all kinds of flavor profiles going on. I really enjoyed the dried gooseberries which gave it a touch of sweetness. They are slowly adding more items to the menu and I definitely have to be back to try their chilaquiles. Friendly and attentive staff too.Don't forget to grab a pan dulce on your way out!

Soft opening weekend, please keep that in mind when you stop by! We came in as a group of 6 and waited about 20/25 minutes for a table to clear out. As of now they are a sit wherever you'd like place and they don't have ample seating for larger parties. There's still some kinks they need to work out1. having a sign in sheet so that no one walks in and takes your seat. It happened to us as we waited for a table to get cleaned a party of 3 just walked in and took our table. 2. Taking orders at the table if you are dining in. I ordered at the front and it was quick. However as we were eating the line started to form and people were waiting in line to order for a long time. 3. Trying to take out everyone's food (in a group) at the same time. We ordered 5 plates (3 were the same) and they all came out like 10 minutes from each other. Again they just opened and they were very nice. Our waiter was lovely and animated. He tried his best to fix our order when they got an item wrong. The food was good, we had 3 plates of chilaquiles verdes, one breakfast burrito and one breakfast sandwich. They unfortunately didn't have red sauce, but the green was packed with a nice amount of heat. Really wished the chilaquiles had some pickled onion on them. The breakfast sandwich and burrito were both loaded with egg, avocado and bacon. I liked that they used thick cut bacon as it enhances the flavor. Their lattes were okay, a little disappointed in how thin the latte glasses are. I had the mazapan latte and it was a little on the sweet side. My sister had an iced latte with palo santo syrup (their version of vanilla) and she enjoyed it. I do hope to come back once their official menu comes out. I can't wait to try the red chilaquiles.

I wanted to love this place so much! Drove all the way from Orange County to try it. The food was served cold and that was the hugest turn off. We could not enjoy it due to this. Looks Instagram good, the green chilaquiles were better than the red. Red had little to no flavor. Overall a 2, spent $16 + protein for chilaquiles to be served cold and that's just unacceptable.

Can't believe a place like this can be found here in Burbank. Went to their special multi-course dinner. The food was unique, well thought out, and flavorful. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Last big plus was the great music playing in background. Can't wait to come back to try their breakfast.

Amor a Mi is a must! Visited during its soft opening week and a week later, my sister and I had to go back! Of course, we had to get the red chilaquiles again. They're perfectly crunchy and deliciously spicy with slices of fresh avocado, red onion, and cotija cheese. The iced cafe de olla latte was also sooo good -- even better than the first time we visited!! We also tried new menu items like the green smoothie and Mexican matcha. As a matcha lover, I can say it was a Matcha made in Heaven! Haha So refreshing and just the right amount of matcha richness, I would definitely order it again! The green smoothie was also very light and healthy. Definitely needed a fresh, fruity smoothie! We sat at the bar area and it was so cute. The ambiance just feels very warm and cozy. And of course, the staff was very welcoming and kind. They checked in several times and are just so sweet! This is your sign to visit Amor A Mi!

You have NO IDEA, how excited my husband and I are that this place is officially open! My husband's favorite food is Mexican and his favorite meal of the day is breakfast, so the fact that we now have this Mexican Breakfast spot right across the street from where we live is LIFE CHANGING! You order at the counter and they give you a number and you can sit wherever there is space available (it was full when we went). Luckily a two-seater opened up right before we ordered, so we sat in the far back of the restaurant it was perfect for us because it wasn't too noisy there and we got a little bit of privacy because the line does get long at the counter for people trying to order, so if you're sitting next to the counter, it seems like it could get a little crowded with people hovering over you. The spot isn't too big, but perfect enough where you will most likely find a table to sit at. If you've been to Cafe de Olla nearby, you know how tiny that spot is and that is what causes to long wait times and for that reason alone, we don't go there as often as we would like. THANK YOU THANK YOU for opening another Mexican cafe and this one is even closer to us!My husband and I both ordered cafe de olla coffees but he got the hot version and I ordered the iced version. They ask you what kind of milk you prefer and I got it with whole milk (I think that's the default milk they use), but next time I'm going to order a less fattening milk option to compare. My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich which he said was lacking more protein, but still tasted great and I ordered the red chilaquiles and added chicken. They didn't offer to add a protein, so you definitely need to ask for it. Steak wasn't an option or else I would have added steak instead. It could be because we went during their soft opening, so maybe I'll ask if I can add steak on our next visit. The chilaquiles were perfect and I can't wait to try the other options on their menu. Would love if in the future they offered mimosas and micheladas, but then I don't think we'd ever leave! You can even quote me on this, WE WILL BE REGULARS HERE! Hope ya'll don't mind!
