Certainly! Here's a sample review for an American-style steakhouse:---From the moment I walked into American Beauty Steakhouse, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. The dim lighting and cozy seating created an intimate atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both special occasions and casual dinners. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. They took the time to explain each cut of steak and even recommended the perfect wine pairing to complement our meal. I really like the location of American Beauty. Since it's at The Grove, you can shop, have a very nice meal, and catch a movie. Give American Beauty a try, you will be very happy you did.

I really like this place. The food is very, very good. The service was present and attentive, we were seated and greeted within minutes. The decor is absolutely lovely, welcoming and comfortable. The pictures speak volumes as to the quality of the food. So why 2 stars? Well, for one thing: one star reviews are no longer credible. But the big fail: 46 minutes from ordering (according to the "ordered" time on the receipt) to arriving at our table is unacceptable. Was this Friday night Valentine's in the middle of the dinner rush? No. Was this facing off against a nine year old's birthday party of 75? No. Was this because the burgers were so fresh and juicy, they had to dispatch bovine justice to slay my hunger? I certainly hope not. As you can see from my review distribution, I love shouting out restaurants that do a great job. I can't let 46 minutes for 6 minute cook time order go unnoticed. Now, they're new, been open a few months. Soft open, friends & family nights are when you dial it in. And a few months open, this is not the time to just phone it in.

Secret date for an early Valentine's Day celebration. We started with the grilled Brussels sprouts and hamachi collar. Both were fantastic. For our main course, we got the Porterhouse, mac and cheese, carrots, and broccolini. The carrots were probably my favorite of that round - the mac and cheese was a bit soupy and the steak was more rare than I would have liked. It was seasoned well though with a great char.My partners seemed to like their cocktails - the paloma and the dirty martini. But they did say that the martini had so much brine that they couldn't taste the infusion in the gin. Our server was great. Very attentive and able to get our food out to us on our schedule - we were able to get to our next location with plenty of time. The decor is a bit oddly eclectic in a way that didn't make total sense to me. But the seats were comfortable and it wasn't too loud, even though it was pretty busy at 7 PM on a Friday night.

I've been meaning to check this place out ever since they opened and was waiting for a bit for them to hopefully iron out the kinks of being a new restaurant. I went this past week on a very quiet Monday for lunch. The restaurant was practically empty at around 1pm. The restaurant itself was nicely designed and I could see it have a lively night life both inside and on their outdoor patio. We were greeted by our sever almost immediately and we asked for waters and beverages from the bar. We waited for about 15 minutes to get our bar drinks and another 5 for our waters. All with a full view of the bar, so we could see that the bartenders were just standing around. I ordered the bloody Mary and my boyfriend got an iced black coffee. Both drinks were drinkable. The Bloody Mary was like thick cold tomato soup, completely lacking in spicy or any real flavor other any puréed tomatoes. The iced coffee was the worst thing I've ever tasted. Our server tried it and admitted that he wasn't sure what was wrong with it, but that he too agreed it was terrible. For our entrees we got the brisket burrito and the steakhouse burger. We requested that the burger come with raw onions and the worcestershire sauce come on the side. When the burger arrived we received grilled onions and the burger doused in the sauce. The burger itself had a good flavor to it but was ruined by being drenched in worcestershire. The brisket burrito was ok but not my favorite for $19. Overall we were disappointed by our service and the lack of attention to our food requests. We may have tried this place again if our service had been better since it is a cute spot, but we'll giving other restaurants our business when looking for something new to try.

This venue is so lovely. They have cozy seats inside, including bar seating with a full menu and also have seats outside with heat lamps and fire pits. Super cute vibe. We chose to sit at the bar because we like to mingle. Our bartender and waiter was Stephen and he was phenomenal. I ordered a Vespa to start and it was delicious. It's also nice to see cocktail prices at $16 especially at The Grove! We started with the wood grilled flatbread and oh boy this is so yummy! The sesame seeds and yummy honey dip is just such a treat! Def get this! We shared the filet, and it was so tasty! It had this charbroiled flavor that is unmatched. The meat was so tender and it was just so yummy. We got the steak sauce just to try and that was also delicious, but the steak alone has great flavor. We also ordered the glazed carrots and they were so yummy, almost like dessert, but not too sweet. We skipped dessert but definitely want to come back for more of this delicious food and to try a dessert. We will definitely be back to sit at the bar with hopes Stephen is our server again. Overall everything was excellent from the staff, the venue and the food. I'd also love to try brunch one day!

My aunt sent me an ad about the opening of a new restaurant at the Grove and based on the pictures alone I had to try. The vibe felt fun but elevated. It's a perfect addition to a mall. Think fancy Yardhouse where kids are running around but still nice enough for those having date night. I tried the tuna tartar, which was pretty subpar. I also had the ribeye and brocolini. My ribeye was completely burned on the outside and rare in the middle. It also looked like a strip instead of ribeye but maybe that's just me. Service should have been so much better but this place is new, so they are still learning. Overall I prefer a more upscale experience but this is a good addition for families or after a long shopping haul.

Server didn't notify us of the menu stipulation. For lunch their steaks come without any sides. For dinner it comes with sides. The menu they gave us was a dinner menu, our server said we can order steaks from there on lunch too. When we got the steaks they didn't come as advertised on the menu. Not to mention it took like over an hour just to get the steaks and we came in at like 1pm on a weekday and it was not busy at all. The steak directions weren't even followed. The stuffed hash brown was delicious but I will never return.

Just as good, if not better, than their original Venice location. Absolutely loved the flatbread with labneh and honey, brussels sprouts with kimchi aioli, frisee caesar salad, broccolini, and shoestring fries with aioli. Service was great and both the interior/patio are beautiful.

Your New Modern Steakhouse. I've been wanting to go here for quite a while & let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Located towards the CBS end of The Grove (you'll actually have to use the crosswalk opposite of the Farmer's Market parking lot). Interior is dark & moody, but not too dimly lit. My friend & I actually opted to dine in the patio & I'm so glad that we did. It's The Grove, after all, & this locale really thrives off it's outdoor setting. There's plenty of fire pits to keep you warm & the area is well lit. Fernanda (request her in the evenings as your server if possible!)was nothing short of exceptional. Even if you came in not knowing what to order, she'll happy give you a rundown of what this steakhouse (a sister location to the original restaurant in Venice) thrives in. But my friend & I knew exactly what we wanted...Main Course:Flannery 30-day Dry AgedPrime Porterhouse 32 oz. $165Yes, it is the most expensive dish. But I am a carnivore at heart & for a steakhouse, I knew it was only appropriate to judge this place based on it's best offering. It. Was. Amazing. A perfect medium rare - nice sear on the outside, + juicy, warm, red center with a tender chew. I'm a true believer that a good piece of beef does not need any steak sauce & this was the perfect example. It was served with a small arugula salad. It provided a necessary peppery bite to stand up to the meatiness of the steak. Sides:Stuffed Hash Browns - I'm a "meat + potatoes" kind of guy & this delivered in spades. There's a reason why there are already many pictures of this dish on Yelp. The great thing is that it eats like a baked potato - sour cream, onion, chives. It's an innovative twist on a classic steakhouse side dish. Charred Broccolini - Fernanda ingeniously recommended this. The vegetable side dish is lathered in a thick parmesan caesar sauce. The saltiness of this dish complimented the strong, savory flavors of the steak. Wine: "Roman Ceremony" Cabernet Sauvignon - This full bodied glass of red stood up to the heartiness of the Porterhouse steak. Its place as our alcoholic beverage of choice helped to round out our delicious meal. Dessert(s): Burnt Cheesecake - Normally, I would opt to go to a 2nd location for desert (if I do decide to do dessert at all). But my friend wanted to try a dessert here so we chose this . The texture was velvety smooth with the charred top providing a welcome smokiness. It was accompanied with candied meyer lemon - which added a nice, non-overpowering sweet & floral note.Straus Organic Vanilla Soft Serve - Get. This. Desert.Fernanda also recommended this. I would come back here just for this. This is a desert for people who do not like desert. It is not overly sweet - which I definitely appreciated. The chocolate pearls are reminiscent of the crunch from a Ferrero Rocher without the hazelnut flavor. The Amarena Cherries & sauce will win over anyone who is not a fan of cherries. Quite simply, it is a nice & elegant take on the Ben & Jerry's "Cherry Garcia" Ice Cream. Overall, this is not your father's steakhouse & that is a very good thing:- No need to come here just for special occasions (graduations, promotions, etc.)- Food is definitely on par with that of your typical steakhouse.- no need to spend 5+ hours having the restaurant make a spectacle of your dining experience with white linen tablecloths & waiters dressed in suits. (Their Dress Code is business casual)- By the time we left for out movie (7:30pm), this place was bustling. It's a great place for any social gathering - be it a date, a casual meeting with friends, or a gathering for groups. This is THE PLACE that you want to be at & the kind of place that you would not expect from The Grove.Special shout out to Fernanda T. for being one of the warmest & chill servers that I have ever had. She's as real & as hospitalitable as it gets & that is very appreciated. Raphael (her runner) was super considerate to take a bunch of photos for me & my friend. The General Manager, himself - Darryl - came to our table to check on us. We had a lovely chat about how great our dining experience was. I'm a big believer that a restaurant's staff is only as good as their leader allows them to be. Darryl is the empathetic leader who treats his staff like his equals & trains them to be themselves. You can tell that everyone on the team loves their job & their work environment. Kudos to a very well-run ship with a happy crew - their passion rubs off on the warm, lively, & classy vibes. I will definitely be coming back soon. If you haven't checked this place out yet, what are you waiting for?(I also recommend booking a reservation for good measure because I wouldn't be surprised if this place grows in popularity).

Such a beautiful dining experience I don't even want to say anything else. But that's not who I am on yelp so....I visited American beauty on a Tuesday night after work to celebrate the holidays and everything was spectacular. The decor inside is gorgeous, really living up to its name and the lighting is just low enough where it sets the tone for the evening without hindering your ability to see and take photos (much, might need an obnoxious flash moment). The service was so good. I forgot to ask my server's name but she was so on top of it. They reset your table settings after every course which is just so classy! Now the important part. The food was insane. My party of 3 ordered food to share - 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 sides, 2 desserts. We started with the started with the seasonal Burratta and Persimmon salad - wonderful balance of flavors, light and fresh. I wanted to eat it so bad, I forgot to take a picture for you guys first!!!! For mains we had the grilled orata and the grilled lambchops - both seasoned spectacularly, the fish was melt in your mouth good and the lamb was just drool worthy (running out of adjectives). The sides were next level. Whoever conceptualized those stuffed hash browns needs an award. They were iconic and I'm craving them right now. The mac and cheese was also creamy and delicious and a lovely complement. For dessert the burnt cheesecake was one of the best I've ever had (sorry to our friends at the factory down the street) and the molten chocolate cake was so good, it almost turned me into a peanut butter and chocolate fan (I don't like it, but I loved this cake - sometimes I worry that it chocolate cakes can be too rich, not a problem here, so well balanced). We also had quite a few drinks come to our table but I'll call out the two I had which was the 1964 and the orange wine. Both light and fresh, and I complement our server's accuracy in describing the 1964. Definitely was not disappointed in either drink. Though everything was wonderful, it was not perfect. There were some cons - the portion size on the Mac was on the smaller side in my opinion and the lambchops were a bit salty. The guy who was bussing our tables was also a little over eager and almost discarded some of the good stuff (and for these prices, that plate needed to be clean) But these things were not significant enough to lose a star. Overall excellent experience. TL;DR Go here, it's amazing.
