Found Amazing Thai online after having some lackluster experiences with other Thai restaurants in the area. I will name no names but they know who they are. First the atmosphere was quaint and comfortable with a nice spacious feel. The service was prompt and the food...the food was so delicious. I tried the chicken satay which was juicy and fresh. The spring rolls were hot and crispy...yes! The scallop and shrimp in garlic sauce was flavorful, the pad woo sen was sinfully good and lastly the pad Thai was perfectly balanced. This is my new Thai restaurant in NoHo. Bravo.

Ordered the pad Thai with tofu and not the "best" I've ever had but the price was pretty good for the portion so would definitely give another try since it's so close to me!

Amazing Thai Cuisine is in a very tight, little strip mall with very little nearby street parking. Inside is full of tables seating four. Seems most people do take out although restaurant dining is fine. 1) Mi Krob/Mee Grop is a salad of rice noodles fried and puffed like styrofam packing squiggles that are light, dry, airy with pieces of sautéed chicken, two shrimp, slices of red & green bell pepper. All is tossed in a tamarind inflected mostly sweet yet sour sugary sauce. Garnish of chopped green onions and occasionally cilantro. Not quite the Mi Grop at legendary but long gone Siam on Hollywood Blvd. in the 1980's where the rice noodles were thinner, more dense, crunchy dressed in more of a tomato, earthy, sweet hoisin sauce with a touch of fine ground meat already in the sauce. But it is to Amazing's credit they still have this dish on the menu when it is no longer listed on most Thai menus. 2) Shui Mai are steamed dumplings of dense, rough ground pork seasoned with oyster sauce, white pepper, Nampla/salty fish sauce, touch of onions. There is a small bay shrimp hidden & curled inside. Satisfying porky meatiness. All is wrapped in a thin wheat based ravioli like wrapping. Scattering of chopped cilantro for a soapy, funky, green herbal contrast to the porky meatiness. 3) Pad Kee Mao: Wide thick, pleasantly chewy rice noodles sautéed with sliced onions, red & green bell pepper, mushroom, pork flavoured with Nampla, vinegar, sugar, hint of oyster sauce, touch of garlic, aromatic Holy Basil, & chile pepper piquancy to arouse the tastebuds, chopped cilantro garnish. (Choice of protein)4) Khao Soi: This version has wheat noodles that are chewy, but also a bit mushy at the same time. The soup really lacks a meaty Umami, and is too sweet for me. I had to put in some of the vinegar from the pickled green chile pepper condiment jar to add a gastrique to counter the sweetness and brighten the sleeping flavours. Yellow Curry is very earthy & funky. Perhaps there was too much Cardamom in the curry mix that gave it a faint taste of woody-pine, turpentine. Also, very luke warm which didn't add to the heartiness of this soup. Coconut milk adds a thickened creaminess. Two shrimp, and cut up, bland "chicken finger" breast meat. Slices of red & green onion, bean sprouts, scattering of cilantro. It was not the most impressive mastery of this Northern Thai dish. 1-4a) Singha, Chang Thai beers as well as Sapporo, Modelo, Corona to cool down from spicy Thai, and to clear the palate. Food here is A-OK, down home, basic Thai. Great if in the neighborhood 3+ stars PS Not to be confused with Amazing Siam Thai Restaurant in Chatsworth on the opposite side of the San Fernando Valley.

We're the first customers to eat lunch earlier. The TV is on but sound is low. My son loved the garlic beef daily special while I liked the orange chicken due to its crunchy texture. The green curry is not that great. Pad see ew is a little bit oily and serving is small. The server is accommodating. Everything is cooked fresh while you wait on your table. It's our first time to eat here and their lunch special is a good deal for your buck. When you're in the area it's a must try.

I called in to quickly order crab fried rice for my late dinner expecting to get turned down because it was last minute-- but they didn't! The person over the phone was very friendly and polite. I remember dining here with my parents when i was very young but haven't been back since. The parking here is kinda a headache since it's in a small lot shared with 7-Eleven and Little Caesars Pizza. They are not kidding when they title their restaurant "Amazing" because my meal was delicious! For a to-go, the fried rice portion is perfect for me. There's a good hint of chopped garlic which adds so much tastier flavor to the rice. They aren't shy with the crab either, unlike certain Thai restaurants. The best part about it is that it's only $13 for my crab fried rice. It's quality you literally cannot beat. I can definitely see myself regularly ordering my fried rice here from now on. They have a wide array of foods to choose from so that's something I can try on my next visit.

Everything is great! I even loved the 'Soup Nazi' attitude of the Chef (from Seinfeld episode). He knows how.to cook though. Small location in mini mall between 7-eleven and donut shop, but it's my favorite Thai restaurant in SoCal!! As a LYFT Driver, I get to stop at them ALL to try them out.

LAME!!!!! I door dashed it so I won't speak on the customer service or ambiance. However, let's get into the dish. I ordered the "SPICY" eggplant with chicken. BLAND! NO seasoning. NO spice. Also, they did not include my rice. What's a stir fry type dish without the rice? Maybe the forgot. Still doesn't excuse forgetting to make my SPICY eggplant, spicy and season the dish so it's no bland. This meal screamed not authentic. Just go somewhere else for better tasting food.
