This dessert is a Torre Alla Nutella. The caramel drizzle on the side was amazing. The dessert had a nice and fluffy texture.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were very impressed with the food, service and ambiance. I had the Ossobucco and the beef was tender and the flavor was delicious. My husband had the Carbonara and the pasta was perfectly cooked and sauce was tasty. The Honey Cake for dessert was a change from our usual Tiramisu. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. He gave great recommendations. The restaurant had high ceilings with tasteful decor and beautiful photos of different sights of Italy. We highly recommend this restaurant for a date night and/or get together with friends and families. It's best you make reservations as it does get pretty full and may be a long wait.

We recently dined at this restaurant as a group of seven. The food was good, and our waiter provided excellent service. However, our experience upon arrival was less than welcoming. When we walked in, we were greeted by an older woman who we believe was the owner. She immediately asked if we had a reservation. When we said no, she seemed visibly upset, even though the restaurant was nearly empty at the time. She told us she would check if a table was available, which felt unnecessary given the number of open seats. When she returned, she asked if we would be done by 5:30 p.m.--this was at 3 p.m., so it struck us as an odd request. While we ultimately stayed and enjoyed our meal, the initial interaction left a negative impression. A more welcoming approach would have made a big difference. I don't usually leave critical reviews, but I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests. I would love to return, but a more hospitable first impression would make a world of difference.

Amante Restaurant is located in DTLA- unfortunately, parking can be a bit challenging, and walking the surrounding areas can be a bit sketchy....this is the ONLY downside to the experience. Everything else is AMAZING!My friend and I came for lunch on a Sunday Afternoon with our hearts set on the pasta with the cheese wheel...unfortunately, this is only available after 4 (could be earlier, depending on how early the chef arrives...but dinner is the time for that.). Our server, Bora (who took EXCELLENT care of us!) recommended his favorite pasta on the menu: Pappardelle Al Funghi! We both added shrimp to the dish and paired it with the Marlborough Chardonnay. But FIRST, we had the Calamari to start. The calamari is FANTASTIC when it's hot, but not so much after it cools. The quality of the calamari itself is good, the breading is not too thick, and it is seasoned well. Once it cools, it quickly toughens up- eat it during its appointed time though, and you'll be OK!Back to the Pappardelle...it's good. REALLY good. The truffle is powerful, the sauce is deliciously creamy, the pasta is fresh and perfect (made fresh on-site). It's the type of meal you grieve before you're done, and you fantasize about leftovers! The Sunday afternoon we visited had an ample amount of space and we were seated promptly. Bora shared, however, that Fridays and Saturdays DEFINITELY would require a reservation to beat out the crowd. The restaurant had an ample amount of seating available, including a space upstairs for larger groups. The main dining room lends itself well to groups (birthday parties, etc)- 20% Gratuity Added for Groups 4+.One of my new faves...5/5 Stars- CANT WAIT to return!

Let me start off by saying this place this place was a 10/10! We originally came for the cheese bowl pasta but were told it is only available for dinner. We came during lunch on a Saturday and the only downside was that there was only 1 waiter. He did a good job being the only waiter. He told us the cheese bowl pasta though good is not as good as the other dishes on the menu. It ambiance during the day was lovely semi romantic but I can see it being more romantic during dinner. The appetizer we got had lots of taste and can tell everything in it was house made. The fettuccine Alfredo was good but the home run was the Parmigiana Chicken. Definitely a must try if you are in the area. Parking is available for a fee.

The aesthetics of this place are so cute. They're playing authentic Italian music and the set up is really nice. There's outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. There's also a nice fun greenery wall for photo ops. I ordered the Calabrase norgina, which comes with a white sauce, peas, and Italian sausage. It took a while for the food to come out, but it's all made fresh in house and you will not be disappointed. Pasta was a perfect amount of serving and super delicious.

Service was very professional and friendly. All the wait staff seemed happy to be there. I was expecting a more high end dining experience. This is more casual perfect for lunch not really the place for a romantic dinner. The food although looks delicious is mediocre at best. I did enjoy the cheese wheel table side service but the flavors just weren't there for me.

The most memorable part of my dinner at Amante I think will be our handsome and friendly server, who walked into a few questionable conversations between my girlfriends. He laughed and provided recommendations and was being handsome the whole time. The chicken parm wasn't the crispiest and the risotto fromaggio wasn't the creamiest, but all in all very much enjoyed the meal and the views from the dining room. Not to sound like the food was anything less than great. The spaghetti that came with the parm was delicious, and we started with one of the better Caesar salads that I have had of late.

When you're craving a proper pasta fix but want to shake up your usual rotation, let me tell you, this spot delivers. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner (yes, he's a keeper), and it was everything I hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like VIPs. Our waiter was a gem. He was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. He really set the tone for a lovely evening. Now, let's talk logistics: parking in DTLA was, as expected, a bit of a hassle. But once inside, all those city frustrations melted away with the first bite. We started with the beef carpaccio and the bruschetta fungi. The bruschetta was great, but the carpaccio? Absolutely stellar. Tender, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent. If you go, this is a must-order.For mains, we shared the chicken parm (which comes with a side of tomato-sauced spaghetti) and the pappardelle fungi, with chicken added, because why not? Both dishes were phenomenal, but the pappardelle stole the show. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the mushrooms were abundant and meaty, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Honestly, I was in pasta heaven. This place is now locked into my recommendation arsenal, and I'll be singing its praises to anyone who will listen. The countdown to my next visit has officially begun.
