Aliki's Greek Taverna

It is not so easy to find Ailki's. It is small. You park in the motel (next door) lot and you look. It is not big at all. It also is not pretty. The tablecloths could use replacing. But no one is going to care because the food is the best.We love Greek food, but sometimes have a hard time finding it in Los Angeles. You can get boring Greek food, but finding the real deal is not an easy task. Aliki's is anything but boring.The menu has a lot to offer, from salads to, pasta, and great delectable desserts. Aliki's is a must-visit for any one in LA who must have great Greek food. The Horiatiki salad with ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, and "eliki" olive oil is amazing and the Pasta Ala Greco topped browned butter and garlic is wonderful.Try the Baklava and Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts for desert. YUM. The place is very clean and the service is super nice and friendly. There is something for everyone.

The sizzling feta was really good The plate with different side like eggplant ect was very pricey and not fresh at all I wouldn't recommend I feel like they don't serve fresh food Iam disappointed !No shortcuts please!! Serve fresh food at all time we know it's not can't fool food experts !

1 of us got horrible food poisoning, out of the 3 of us who all ordered the same gyro sandwiches, because new cook didn't like that the 1 gyro order was sent because it didn't come without tomatoes and onions - as ordered.Ate there Sat. 12/29/24 with my wife and Son. Been going there for 20 years.How can all three of us have the same order, gyro meat, rice, potatoes and Tzatziki and only 1 of us have terrible gastrointestinal and stomach problems through 5am the next morning? Perhaps the cook didn't like that he got the order wrong from Michael and then added a "special ingredient" to the make up order that was sent back?? You tell me!The cook is relatively new and certainly not the most friendly person. Michael is a sweetheart and the owner is a wonderful woman.Very disappointed. Tried to call them but not open until Tuesday. I hope they enjoy their new years eve like the sick customer enjoyed their meal.

Located near the airport this is a solid place if you are looking for good Greek food. I was spending the night at an airport hotel and walked here from my hotel. It's an unassuming hotel tucked away under an awning. Is there ambiance? No, but it is clean with good food. For lunch I ordered Gyro on a pita with french fries. It was tasty and fillingMy one complaint was I wish they had told the tool sitting behind me with his friend you can't have a conference call .

I assume the food at this place is just like the traditional Greek food you'd get if your Greek uncle and aunt ran a kitchen straight out of their garage. No frills, just good tasty food piled high. Those lemon potatoes.. who knew. Delish. The beef-lamb gyro was thickly cut and spilling out of the pita. The small crew handled our large party well (the place seems more focused on to go), getting all 10 plus dishes out in relatively good time. This was a great call by my fellow con-goer. Aliki's is definitely the place to go when you're hungry and staying - for whatever reason - at one of the many LAX adjacent hotels (with their over priced and generally particularly average restaurant offerings).

Love their food! Craving it right now. Everything we ordered was so delicious. The service was the best and my son loved seeing the airplane flying above to land.

My friend recommended coming here, as this place is local to his house. The food was reallllly good, the customer service nice, the only downside was the parking situation. I guess this place has been around for a very long time. I did not eat inside, but the two guys that took our orders/made the food were really nice and everything even to go was freshly made and warm ...yummy!

Atmosphere is not terrific but the food is outstanding. Parking is a pain in the neck for sure. Even though it was just about noon when we arrived there was only one spot in front to park. Don't know how they survive.

The food tasted authentic and good portion. Dining area was clean. There was parking at side of hotel.

This place is SO good. It's very difficult to find good authentic Greek food in LA. This place is amazing. The dishes we got were amazing, and the ones on other tables looked equally good. I can't wait to go back and try everything else!
