Aikan Sushi

The food is amazingly good. One of the best unlimited sushi i have ever tasted. They have really fast service as well! A must visit for first timers!!

Good food and good service. I like the vibe here also. They took us really fast on a rainy Saturday evening.

The service was great. Quick to take our order papers. Wasn't immediately knowledgeable about gluten-containing ingredients, but was very quick and helpful in finding out. Price was a bit on the more expensive side. Food was great! The sashimi was a bit thin, but still tasty. Ambiance was like any other AYCE. Quick, tasty sushi!

Came to visit on a weekday for lunch and there was no wait. We promptly got seated and the servers gave us waters immediately. Our table decided to do the AYCE menu. The sauce that is included with the sashimi were absolutely delicious. The citrus lemony flavor complemented the sashimi very well. The sauce for the SG tuna was also good!!! The toppings on the broiled mussels are always great too. The seared nigiris are also yummy.Servers were quick at cleaning empty plates and refilling waters.

Terrible experience at Aikan Sushi tonight. Sat at the bar, ordered 12 rolls, and waited... and waited... and waited. 20 minutes for the first roll, and another 15 minutes for the next. By the time they were closing, we'd only gotten 5 rolls. Complete waste of time and money. If you value your time and want actual food, avoid this place.

11/22/2024 - This is my first time to visit Aikan Sushi for Premium All-You-Can-Eat (PAYCE) at $40.99 per person with a sit-down lunch.The services are ver good, randomly and often, waiters and waitress took away many empty plates from each guest's table. Adding $5 for 9 premium dishes are worth of your money.Without offering those 9 premium dishes in the menu, I would have to give this venue a 4-star rating.This is one of the five-chain Japanese Sushi restaurants in Los Angeles.Note: On the upcoming Black Friday, 11/29 to 11/31, this restaurant offers a free beer and a few premium items for free for all PAYCE customers. I may consider visiting it again to celebrate the Holiday Seasons.

Came here on Saturday for a late lunch. "All you can eat" is an instant turnoff for me, but they also have a regular menu.We were seated at the sushi bar without delay. Going over the menu, and doing the math, it was evident that we were going to order enough sushi that we were going to be in the same price range as just doing "all you can eat" ($42.99 for dinner). And while the portions are smaller, the food is otherwise the same. So we went with the all you can eat menu.The upside of this, is that we ordered a much broader range of food than we normally would. Appetizers, sushi, sashimi, rolls, rice-free rolls... all the stuff.The service is great, although it's the first time sitting at a sushi bar where there was no interaction with the sushi "chefs". But the wait staff is fantastic.The popcorn scallop appetizer was a favorite as were the stuffed muscles.The food is 4 stars. It's good, but not really good. The rolls are drowning in sauce. The sashimi was our favorite. We'll come back, but I think we'll stay away from the rolls.Overall, a fun and enjoyable meal and, as I say, we'll return. I did not manage to get a picture of everything.

The service was great and we are satisfied with the food. We will definitely come back.
