Bomb side dishes and additional sides like their seaweed riceballs are great and unique. Corn cheese could be a little betterMeat quality is great, good selection of all the essentials like brisket and pork belly. Great service, servers and food runners all attentive and created a great experience. Real nice about final call and came around often checking in on us, changing grills, and taking ordersInside was clean, modern, and spacious. Complimentary dessert was delicious and a nice touch. Well worth the price, this place is my new favorite Korean bbq spot. Would recommend to everyone. I really like how open the entire restaurant and how you can see how clean the kitchen is. That's really important to me, this spot doesn't seem chaotic or questionable in quality like a lot of KBBQ places are. It's like a remodel gone right

Came here for my late birthday dinner with my uncle & his girlfriend on Saturday night. Theres no reservations via yelp but if you search them on google through Toast, you can put your name on the waitlist. The waitlist went by fairly fast and we were able to join from home. This restaurant took over the old Thirsty Cow location on Nogales before it burned down during COVID. Parking can be hard to find during peak hours. We ordered set A and got their Lychee Mule which was delicious. Lacked alcohol and was more sweet than anything but still really delicious. Brisket is typically a hit or miss at most KBBQ locations as its either too dry or flavorless but their brisket was probably my favorite cut from set A. We thought we would like the beef belly as well but the marinade on the beef belly was okay. High fat content. Thinly sliced pork belly was a first I've ever seen at any KBBQ location and that had an extremely high fat content that it crisp up so fast. Their steamed egg was beautifully fluffy and did not lack flavor. Cheese corn never disappoints and cheese fondue was not worth it. It was pretty much just shredded cheese which did not melt nicely and was too thick and oily to pair with their meats. I was hoping more of a velveta cheese texture. Cinnamon sugar pineapple paired well with the meats and was delicious. Was not a fan of the spicy pork bulgogi. Felt like i've had better elsewhere. Marinated pork ribs was decent as well but not the easiest to eat. Primarily has a lot of bones and did lack flavor. Loved the ice cream at the end which consist of vanilla soft serve with either caramel or brown sugar syrup.Service was spot on. Everyone was friendly and attentive. We didn't feel rush and they were able to get all of our orders correctly without having to constantly flag another staff member down. Would love to return here to try their beef tongue. Their vents are great. It can be adjusted vertically which you don't often at most kbbq locations.

I had Thirsty Cow literally the week before trying this place. 88Q is SO MUCH BETTER! Holy moly, the service is amazing. They're quick, they got every item we asked for, and there's vents that work! Both have a time limit but this place doesn't waste your time like Thirsty Cow did. At first I was worried about the 90 minute time limit but it ended up working out. After placing our orders, they come out with our orders within minutes. I was so surprised! The waiters even come by and check on us to see if we need anything as well. They continually checked up on us and it was nice cause we restocked the banchans and started our next rounds when they did.Because of the frequent check ins and orders, everyone got well fed quickly and we were all full before the 90 minutes were over.I also like how their menu is transparent and clear and also includes the banchans, unlike Thirsty Cow which forgot some of them. Also, they don't charge for babies as well. Thank you for that! She only had a few pieces of meat, some macaroni, and ice cream. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here with my friends. It's clean, quick, and the food was great. The only thing I wish there was more of were more dessert options. The only dessert they gave was vanilla ice cream at the end of the meal and you can choose to try the cinnamon pineapple that's also on the menu. I enjoyed the cinnamon pineapple but I just wish there were more options. Maybe other fruits would be nice?

I do love me some Korean bbq and this place does it well. It's clean, the staff are polite and they've now got their liquor license with some amazing soju themed cocktails. We went during the lunch crowd which is always quieter which means faster service and no wait time. Food was great, meat cuts were lovely, side dishes are always a delight and trying some of the cocktails is always something I'm excited about.Restrooms are also clean, accessible to all types of people, and have paper towels which I feel is a big plus to the air dryers. Will be back again, and with a larger group since kbbq is meant to be enjoyed with friends.

88Q has got to be the BEST AYCE KBBQ!!! Each dining set has an excellent selection of meat for the grill as well as items to order from their kitchen. My favorite meats were the USDA Prime Brisket, Black Angus Bulgogi, and Flat Iron Steak. The brisket and steak paired excellently with the korean chimichurri. From the kitchen, I ordered the jumeokbap (diy rice balls). Those were super fun and tasty! The disposable gloves were so cute. I love everything about this KBBQ spot. The interior has a neon night market vibe. The seats are prepared for you with banchan already at the table and the service is extremely quick and attentive! At the end of the meal, we were brought vanilla ice cream with brown sugar syrup. I was so full, but who am I to deny myself a sweet treat lol. On the way out, I grabbed one of their stickers with their logo. It's really cute and I'm excited to tell my friends about this great place!

Very technically accurate waitlist system using Yelp or QR code scan. Very kind, attentive staff. One saw our scissors drop on the floor and before we had to ask for a fresh pair, he already brought one over.Beff tartare was flavorful and "filling" cause it's hard for the body to digest raw meat. But it was seasoned so well with sesame oil, it reminded me of eating poke. The Ramen instant noodle end was bomb. They add so much additional ingredients like bulgogi beef and fresh veggies. Thought they were only going to bring out a packet for us to cook. But they go above and beyond to already bring it over cooked with extra peppery seasoning. It's a huge pot that could serve 4 easily, so have room in your stomach!Love how there is scallops on the menu.Cooked on a pretty shell with lots of sauce. The sauce offering is robust and the chimichurri is amazing. Love the unique kitchen side offerings: garlic noodles, kimchi fried rice and seafood pancake.Included dessert is vanilla soft serve with caramel or brown sugar sauce. Ambience: has a man Asian night market feel with some side dishes served on skewers.

First new KBBQ spot of the year and I can already tell it's gonna be my favorite for the year. We originally tried for Chubby Cattle, but there was no promise to be seated (87th to 13th before they canceled the rest of the waitlist). 88Q was down the street with half the wait time.Parking lot is big, the restaurant is spacious, and the designs (logo, decor, etc) were so thoughtful. Huge compliments to 88Q's design team. Their vents work really well, too. You don't have to worry about it being hella smoky inside the restaurant.Menu-wise, there's 3 sets (A, B, C). We got set B since we wanted beef tongue. Service is great, there's lots to choose from on the menu. Their banchan is delicious - don't skip on the cucumbers, rice paper, radish, and kimchi. We got brisket, pork belly, beef belly, pork jowl, and more. All their cuts of meat are tender and well-marinated. Didn't get anything we weren't happy with. & did you know that afterwards, they offer ice cream?5/5 KBBQ spot. Definitely will be coming back (haven't tried set C and their drinks yet).

Really loved this place! Food was good and drinks were good too. The only thing that I have to take a star off for is the time limit. It just feels too rushed and as someone who is on the go quite often, I like to sit and take my time and enjoy a night out when I can. I did also notice a table next to us seated and eating before we sat down and they were still ordering after our last call which didn't seem right. Overall though, the inside is fun and modern and food was good. The rice balls were my favorite!
