101 Pot All You Can Eat

Stumbled on this restaurant while looking for another AYCE hotpot place to try (: I'm so happy to report that it did not disappoint! This place is clean, easy to order, and relaxing to enjoy.There are two options: premium ($32.95 per person) or prime ($48.95 per person). I went with the premium and chose two broth: tonkatsu and mala. Other broths they have are sukiyaki, tomato and two other broths but those come with only the prime menu. They have all my basic hotpot ingredients but one item that stood out to me that I don't see at other AYCE hotpot places is the MONEY BAGS (picture attached in my review) ! This is one of the reasons for my visit here heh*not pictured but we also ordered prawns and fish (: yummy ! Especially fish in the mala brothThe meal also includes drinks and ice cream.. available drinks are sodas, lemon iced teas and jasmine soy milk . I was so excited to see that they served thriftys ice cream (if you know you know, it's yummy) !Thanks 101 pot, I'll definitely be visiting again (:

I am so disappointed with this restaurant, first off they don't use the yelp check in so no point in that. As soon as we were seated, we were seated in a spot that was a holding table and told we had to wait for a table to finish eating then we can order. Minutes later, we were moved to a different table then our order was taken. There was only one person that was able to take orders for the whole restaurant. It was basically impossible to wave that server down. They are way understaffed. To add to this our table was never cleared. There was a moment where I was just sitting and waiting for meat for over 20 mins. The lady that was sitting next to me would literally have to get up from her seat and go to the kitchen and order to the staff, since there is no one coming to around to take orders. We ended up placing our last order and had to wait so long we left and just asked for the bill. Food wise everything was just ok, the meat quality is not what you would expect for American wagyu. The mussels were so fishy it tasted like it was bad we didn't end up eating the others. Their sesame sauce was watered down. You will definitely smell like hot pot after eating here the space is stuffy. I expected better due to the good yelp reviews.

For broths, I tried Tonkotsu and tomato, but both were bland. The sauces weren't great either. The self-serve bar had plenty of veggies, noodles, and tofu to choose from.::Dessert::The desserts were the best part! The ice cream and red bean sesame balls stole the show.::Customer Service::The staff were friendly and helpful, even though it was busy. First time at 101 today. We arrived a few minutes after opening and were pleased to be seated right away.Clean and plentiful selection of veggies, noodles and seafood options at the bar. We opted for the basic tier on the menu and tried the angus beef, pork belly, shrimp and mussels. Portion sizes were generous and love that the meat slices were not frozen or sliced too thinly like other neighboring shabu places.Everything is self serve - drinks, ice cream and sauces. Service was attentive and helpful but the only thing was that rice was not available immediately, which is a staple for me when eating shabu. Overall, enjoyed the meal and ambiance as the relaxing classical music played in the background.

This place is good for the tiger shrimp and the abalone. Some of the meat I got was so dry and thick, not a fan. Make sure you waitlist ahead of time on Yelp because the wait at night can be long. Service is not as quick. We sat at our table for about 10-15 mins asking for assistance before they had time to help us out. Soup bases are just okay. It's better going to the individualized pre set food for good soups. The value of the meal is there if you eat a lot of the seafood though. My dad, sis and I opted for the highest tier and ate our hearts out. They have their own veggies stand, drink around (jasmine soy milk?, lemon ice tea (which was yummy), and water), and self scoop ice cream area. SAVE YOUR STOMACH FOR ICE CREAM. omg the ice cream was probably my favorite part of this place! Sooo freakin good, artisanal, and has the best flavor choices!!! I ate so much ice cream at the end because all the flavors were just so good. Can't express how much I love their ice cream. They had pistachio (soo good), green tea (it was okay), and the mocha (soooooo goood). Sum it up, there's a wait, they need more servers, soup base and food is okay (shrimp and abalone is good), and THE ICE CREAM IS AMAZING. There's parking in the back but it's a bit of a tighter area and you are sharing the lot with nearby stores.

AYCE beef n seafoods place for 101 pot delivered prime n premium menu... quality and quantity of beef and seafoods were tremendously higher quality than most of places in SGV n Arcadia area!! Pricing are fair for dinner n lunch 15% of dinner price once you have lunch .... Services was quite good and there are many choices of soup broth n base, it fits different kinds of customers needs!!! It's a small AYCE shop that weekends n holidays might get really full...

This place is pretty good, nice and lowkey. It's on the smaller side, not very overwhelming. Music a little too loud, but otherwise a chill atmosphere. I liked my sukiyaki and mala broth a lot, they were a good combo of flavors and added a lot of flavor to the different sides. Speaking of sides, there is a good selection. I would prefer a different type of mushroom (maybe oyster mushrooms) and larger pieces of cabbage to dip since things shrink once they hit the pot. Also maybe a better assortment of noodles.The lemon ice tea is so tasty. I like that they come included even with the basic price unlike Momo Paradise where drinks are an upcharge.Meat quantity is HUGE. Had a tough time even finishing my two meat selections because there are so many pieces per serving. I really liked the angus beef. I think I kept overcooking my lamb so my bad. The pork belly was a little stinky but I was able to cook most of it out.Would gladly come back! Wasn't too hard to find street parking right in front.

We ordered the prime tier and have tiger shrimp, oyster, abalone, wagyu, etc. They are so fresh! I like how you can choose 2 soup base for yourself, I got the chicken soup and tomato soup base. I like the tomato soup base more. You can also add noodles, veggies, fish ball in it in their self serve bar. I think it's a great value because of the abalone! I love their chewy potato noodles. There's parking in the back, overall good hot pot place!

I wasn't aware until recently but 101 Pot moved from their El Monte location to Arcadia. This spot is quite hidden but it's a solid hot pot spot!There's two menu options, premium and prime. Regardless which you choose, your selection of meat and seafood is high quality and delicious.101 Pot offers split individual pots! I recommend trying the sukiyaki and jelly golden chicken. The wagyu chuck cross and brisket were my favorite cuts while the chuck eye is perfect for those who like leaner meats. For seafood, the oysters, mussels, tiger shrimp, and abalone were all so fresh and tasty.Drinks and ice cream are included in the price and is unlimited!

Very good and delicious!!!! Service was nice and fast. The ambiance was clean and pleasant.
