Tasha was such a wealth of "good cheer" during breakfast. So friendly and helpful in helping us navigate all of the menu offerings. It was a an overall wonderful experience having her be our waitress. The cool chill vibe of the place also helped a lot. So airy and green, you would never know your in the heart of a concrete jungle.

Upon staying in the hotel, enjoyed the Buttermilk Waffle paired with a 1 Morning breakfast plate, this was a soothing place to enjoy a quiet breakfast. Decor, food and service hit all the marks.

Serene environment if you haven't visiting 1 Hotel before. The kitchen never disappoints in terms of quality and presentation. Always good eats here.

The inside of 1 Kitchen is very comfy and nice. We arrived around lunch time, so we had ordered from the lunch menu. The food options were pretty simple. Many vegetarian options were available. The staff were kind, but we had to wait a long time for the food to arrive. The food was a bit basic, but it wasn't bad. Overall, the food and place was nice.

This is an old review that I thought I posted, but duh, was I wrong. I wish I posted it sooner, because the chef that was responsible for this amazing feast has move on. Tears.... Please, please bring this back for the holidays. I've had to go to other places only to be extremely disappointed because you have set the high watermark on holiday catering.2020 ThanksgivingThis year's Thanksgiving has altered plans for so many families. For me, I debated whether or not to go through the trouble knowing we were not going to have extended family and friends over. We opted to support local restaurants during this crazy year. I was skeptical at first because no one can make a better turkey than Mom, right? But in 2020, our local businesses need our support. The Thanksgiving feast from this place has altered my family's holiday plans. I hope they continue this even after things go back to "normal." I will be looking into ordering a Christmas feast if that is an option this year. Every aspect of a traditional Thanksgiving meal was well planned, prepared, and packaged in the most thoughtful way. The menu sounded amazing. So it was easy to place the order. When we started unpacking the meal it felt like opening presents! The bird looked AMAZING. The sides looked AMAZING. I'm not big on gravy but this gravy...can you guess? Yes, it was AMAZING!We also ordered the cocktail package which initially I thought was a little pricey because the website didn't really set out what you would be getting. We ordered anyway, because we wanted to support our hospitality businesses during this time. Wow! We're we surprised! It's so nice when vendors overdeliver on services. Please, please, please bring back holiday catering.

I had brunch at 1 Kitchen over the weekend and thought it was ... fine? The hotel and restaurant are both super chic, definite Tulum vibes. Very open and airy, light wood, very pretty. The food was decent -- my friend and I shared the omelet, toast and a side of bacon (the bacon was definitely my favorite part, perfectly cooked to just the right amount of crispy). That plus a chai tea latte for me and a latte for my friend, and our bill was $80 -- so it's definitely on the expensive side. Service is good but the food takes a LONG time to arrive, I'm talking almost 30 minutes. And there were maybe 4 other tables occupied? So all in all, it was fine, but not necessarily somewhere I'd go again.

1 kitchen is a newer, hot and trendy spot for just about anything. Met my bff from NYC and had some appetizers and cheese plates. The food was great and of course so was the ambience. So why not a 5 star? Well, it was a bit chaotic around 4-5 in the afternoon due to some event taking up some restaurant spaces. They didn't know where we should sit, and who should help us. But, it was all squared away in about 10 minutes or so. So 4 stars it is. I do recommend it and will surely be back.

I had breakfast here while I stayed at the hotel. The Fig toast was delicious with hazelnut & honey. The egg sandwich was also flavorful but wished the bun were warmer. The service was attentive and fast. The dinner menu looked promising.

I stayed at the hotel for four nights. I ordered the Cali Egg Sandwich and orange juice for breakfast but swapped the bacon for vegan sausage since I'm pescatarian. I found a spot inside and my food was brought to me. It was just ok.. lacked flavor but I could tell good quality ingredients were used. I ordered the Strawberry Acai smoothie the next morning. It was good, just expensive. Came to about $17!I ordered in room dining the next morning - they make you download the 1 Hotels app to view the menu which is annoying - it's the same menu as 1Kitchen. Ordered the 1 Breakfast. Again, just OK.On my last day, I had a Tuna Wrap with French Fries before heading to the airport. Just OK. I wouldn't say any of the food was good :(I guess I give them 3 stars because the ambiance, the friendly and helpful staff, and because it wasn't bad, just not good.

This place is expensive but the food was pretty good. We had the ricotta pancakes (I would come back just for this), the avocado toast and the omelete. Everything was excellent. I had an oat milk latte and it was the best latte I've had since I've been in L.A. The customer service was great. Our waiter, Phillip, was very kind and attentive. The hostess was so sweet.
