As we wander in on a New Year's DayA funday, it's Sunday.The screwdriver is a truly proper pour.The pool table is level, true and more. But still that is not what brought us here on the first of the year.The Cajun Stew... is why we're here, prawns, oysters, Cod, sausage in a tangy sea-water broth served at a portion for two.Highly recommend

Gosh I love this place. Bow has a smattering of restaurants on the main drag through town, and Longhorn never disappoints. I've been there for dinner, lunch, happy hour, you name it. It's a bit of a dive, in the most positive and fabulous way possible. Service has always been friendly and knowledgeable, parking is up and down the road, and you can find all types there. Bikers, older crowds, young professionals...it's a true melting pot. They have a pretty large menu and the prices are very reasonable. Where can you still get a burger for $13?! Nowhere but here! Additionally, they try to use local ingredients and local businesses so it feels good supporting all of them. They also have the best pickle fries I've ever had. The taplist has at least 15 beers at any time. It's fantastic. I've had the Captain's Platter before and it's a gigantic plate of fried goodness. The seafood was fresh and the portions of each were huge. I recommend going here whenever I can - there are lots of other choices in the area but Longhorn is the most consistently fun one on the strip.

Great food. Bartender was wonderful. She works days on Wednesday - forgot her name! Had the seafood platter, and they let us face shrimp instead of oysters. Very accommodating.

Awesome place with excellent food and service. Jessica is the best bartender / server on this planet! No offense to the others who are also excellent, but Jessica has been there for years and absolutely crushes it. The owner is likewise a legit guy who cares about his customers. Outside seating is great and the interior has been nicely updated. The food is fairly priced and excellent. This place is as good as it gets.

The Longhorn Saloon is known for their Oyster Run, but on the off times they are a great place for good food & beer. They have a nice outdoor seating right along the slough. I had the 6 piece Prawn Basket & had it grilled, but you can also have them pan-fried or deep fried. My friend got a Thai Shrimp wrap, which was huge & very tasty. My other friend got a BLT on Bread Farm bread & it was delicious. My apologies for not getting pics of the other items. The portions are huge & the service is great!

Stopped here after a MTB ride and was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was just a bar with maybe a few things on the menu. They had a full menu, with a varied selection of food. The food was great and the service even better! This place is a gem!

It's been a while since I updated on the Longhorn. I've been more times than I can count since my last review. We decided to ride out early and grab dinner before 5. It's still set up the same. Long bar, nice outdoor area that catches the breeze off the bay. Inside is tables and booths. They also have a coin-op pool table. The server was solo but you would never know it. We wanted for nothing. I had the 8oz top sirloin with steak fries and a side salad. The meat was seasoned well and perfectly cooked medium-rare. The portion of steak fries is enough for two so I couldn't get through them. The steak was excellent. Top Sirloin is dense and can be tough but not this one. I shall get it again. No photos this time. I'm making a concerted effort to slow down on food photos. Yes I know this is Yelp and photos rule the realm. How about if I save the photos for very photo-worthy dishes? Deal? I thought so.

Best oyster shooters ever. Drinks are tasty as well. Service is awesome. I'll be back

Once again, an excellent lunch today at Longhorn Saloon and Grill. First rate quality and service. Clean and lots of local brews and cider on tap. Everything I've tried here has been delicious. Definitely not uber trendy but comfortable and affordable.
