Zubies Dry Dock

I brought a friend to Zubies who had never been and for the first time I ate in the bar area. A friend who frequents Zubies gave me a tip that she prefers the bar menu and my friend that came with me wanted Oysters. I also did not know Zubies had a happy hour menu, which is awesome. My friend ordered Oysters on the Half Shell and the Happy Hour Fish & Chips. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Blackened with a baked potato, vegetables and side salad. All of the food was fresh, delicious and the portions are generous. The bartender who waited on us was very friendly, personable and provided excellent service. My friend loved the food, service and atmosphere as well. We look forward to coming back!

Really fast service which was great with the kids. The guys working were super friendly and helpful. They have a small arcade for the bigger kids. I miss the fish tank they used to have but still great atmosphere.

My wife and I haven't been here in over a decade, but it's nice to know things haven't changed. It's still a beautifully decorated and wonderful place to bring the family for a good meal. They have a few arcade games, but I don't recommend playing the candy crane game as myself and the kids were only able to capture 1 piece of candy at each attempt. The food here is great, the pizza has it's own unique flavor and the Caesar salad we ordered was fresh and crisp. The time from order to the pager going off was just over 20 minutes, so the service was a bit on the slow side. However, they were helpful when we went to pick it up from the counter.

Drove all the way to Zubie's based on advertising hours, only to find out the restaurant closed an hour earlier! An entire hour! The rude and unempathetic bartender nonchalantly said, "oh, we close early when it's slow." It's obviously slow a lot because the place looks dead outside. I wouldn't be suprised if this local "staple" closed within the year. We used to come here all the time and the place was packed. We stopped coming because my ahi dinner was incredibly fishy and not fresh and the "side salad" was browning. My wife won't even come here, the only reason I came tonight is because she is out of town. Let me tell you, she was right and this is the last time. This is a sham of a seafood place and it's really not clean and pretty gross. If you aren't sure about seafood, DO NOT come here or you'll probably never eat it again. I'm so disappointed that this restaurant has tanked. Terrible, lackluster, LAZY service and people who don't give a crap about their jobs or how they represent a place. Take your business to Market Broiler, Hook & Anchor, or even Yardhouse. All much better and more consistent.

This place has a nautical aesthetic with vintage decor all over the walls that gives you a Jack Sparrow vibe. A friend recommended this place and I recently went to check it out when I was in town. The food was amazing, the steak hit the spot and the bartender Sam was very attentive, helpful, informative and friendly, took my order promptly & their service made my experience wanting to come back, which I will next time I'm in town.

Food was good. we got the surf and turf meal and calamari. Paid about $62 for an appetizer, meal and two beers. Everything needs more spices. Once a customer is done and leaves, the table is immediately cleared and sanitized.

This is the classic seafood restaurant experience. We ordered way too much food and tipped well, and it cost $100. I'm an instant regular.

Awesomeness expounds! Sam the bartender is incredible. Inexpensive but high quality menu. Bring a cushion for the hard picnic benches!

The bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful Pacifico on tap is cold and tasty chilled glass!! And the place is decorated like " sponge bob square pants "

Sat outside to avoid losing my hearing. Turns out It is louder outside than inside. No way can one talk to a companion. 78db which is equivalent to sitting next to a blender or vacuum cleaner. Last place for a date or family outing.
