Literally everything was more expensive than on the menu (posted behind the counter). I probably should have walked. We ordered a mere six items (a taco, a gordita, and for sopes) and got charged $37 -- about $10 more than expected. The food itself was adequate and a good portion but not special in any way. That, combined with the fact that we felt like they took advantage of us, made this an unsatisfying experience overall. At the posted price, this would have been an average value; at the price charged, it was poor. We will not be back and recommend that you go elsewhere. Regardless, caveat emptor!Free parking in their lot.

Outside kinda smelly ( maybe old pig blood? ‍). But carnitas are decent this place appears to take pride in making their carnitas and using every part of the pig .

Dishonesty at it's best!!! My husband and I went on a Friday afternoon to try this place for the first time. The place was empty so we ate there. We ordered 2 burritos, 2 cans of Coke, a large guacamole, 1 pkg tortillas, 1 small piece of carnitas (size of my palm) to see how they compare to my regular spot :-) and 1 small piece of chicharon. The chef/cashier charged us $58.00. I asked to see the receipt, and he said he was out of paper. I advised him that he overcharged us and he told me he couldn't do anything about it because the boss wasn't there. Now it makes sense why he told us to pay when we were done eating. It's the dishonesty for me that we will never return to this establishment.

I found this place while visiting one of my clients and the chicharrones were pretty good and almost as great as Northgate's Mexican grocery store. Still I highly recommend it

The service was great but neither the freshly made carnitas nor the habanero salsa had flavor. How do they have more than one restaurant is a mystery to me.

***OJO***Be careful when they charge you!! I've been coming to this place for years and today I actually paid attention when they weight your carnitas!! First of all the lady was taking a long time but understandable when it's just one lady so I closed my carnitas in it's foil and was like oh let me set it on the scale playing around it was on $12.99 the lb and total amount said $3.68 we really didn't have to much literally like 2 small pieces and when she waited it she waited it with the tray and it was like $13 something and she took it off real quick and than starting moving numbers on the scale Segun Ella lol and still put it at $12.99 the same it was and took off the tray and ended up being $11.04 so from $3.68 it went up to $11.04? Yea me and my husband seen it all infront of us lol but honestly we just won't be back and that's it why cause a Scene and the only reason I'm writing this review is so ppl can be aware.

This place use to be amazing! Idk what happened but the last few times I've gone it's awful.. ALL OF IT! Food is awful as is the service.. my whole family and we're loyal to this place for years.. I guess back to 5 puntos it is..

Everything here is tasty. Really good prices and the pork rinds are just the best. They even had side dishes and dips for sale and they're all fresh.

We have been going here religiously. Today we stopped by because they had been closed for a while, and we wanted our carnitas fix. Upon entering there was a weird smell, first thing that threw me off. My husband really wanted riñones and tripas, so he got them, I grabbed a small piece of chicharrón. When we got home to eat, the chicharrón was stale, and the riñones smelled HORRIBLE they were rotten(spoiled).My husband called the place and have yet to hear back from them. The lady did not give us a receipt because her machine was out of paper.

This place used to be good . I just went and got over charge for 1.5 lbs of carnitas . They charge me 47.99 and the receipt they give you is nothing . Just the charge with no other details or explanation of what was charge . The pound was 15.99 and they over charge me .
