been here multiple times, first time writing a review! came here on a saturday night, we waited less than 10 minutes for a party of 5. service here was very fast and all the staff were really nice! we got 3 things to share! we got the bossam (L), army stew, and the tripe & brisket yukgaejang. we also got a bottle of makgeoli. they gave us the chilled little bowls to drink out of which was really cool! all the food was very good! i liked how for the bossam and army stew it was on a little burner to keep it warm.

The Rowland Heights location tastes much better than the Irvine location.Their braised beef was way too sweet, so I asked for a bowl of plain broth to dilute it. The waiter told me they could only provide one bowl of plain broth. Then, I asked for hot water, and he said they don't have hot water--only hot tea (How do you make hot tea without hot water? Anyway...). In the end, I had to pour a full cup of ice water into my beef stew.$100 for one dish (including tax and tips), and I can't even get an extra bowl of broth because it's too sweet? I really don't understand people these days.As we were leaving, the manager (or owner) told me that if I found it too sweet, i can asked for less sweet next time. If you truly wanted to fix the issue, why not just give me an extra bowl of plain broth to balance out the sweetness?Honestly, the meat quality is decent, and the service attitude isn't bad, but overall, I wasn't happy with my dining experience this time. It's not just that the dish was too sweet. It's the lack of effort to find a solution that really frustrated me.

Nice ambiance and good flavor for their Braised Beef with Glass Noddles. The sauce was on the sweeter end and had a nice savory flavor.Serving size was a bit small for the price, but overall a good spot for Korean food and a Sun Nong Dan alternative in 626 area.

This place was so affordable! For a party of 3, we ordered 3 dishes and left feeling satiated. We came at Friday night around 5 and were seated right away, but within 30 minutes, there was a very long line forming outside. Here's what we got:-Yuk Gae Jang (3/5): my first time having it but honestly not my favorite. The broth was savory but it was reallyy spicy for me and slightly oily, and I am also not the hugest fan of shredded beef. just my personal preference though-Pork and Chive Mandu (5/5): these were so good! the inside was so fragrant and juicy and the skin was perfectly delicate.-Naengmyeon (5/5): wow, my favorite dish of the night! The noodles had the absolute perfect texture and were so thin and stretchy, allowing for a nice slurp. also loved the pickled radish and the vinegary-ness of the broth!I would come back and try one of their army stews... saw other tables ordering it and the ramen looks to die for

Came here w/ my mom on a whim because the other restaurant we wanted to eat had a wait of over 2 hours.Best decision we made! The restaurant is decent sized & has a contemporary/modern industrial feel to it. The servers were attentive & quick on their feet. The food is Korean comfort food & it's definitely deliciously comforting~

The food here is really delicious and comforting! Perfect for the winter/rainy times. The yukgaejang was really delicious and the meat was tender and flavorful. Service was quick, and not super crowded on a weekday lunch.

I walked into the restaurant and only saw that it was constantly busy with a sign up sheet for getting a table. This place had to be legit. That atmosphere was pretty chill with lots of families/groups coming in and out. Lot options to choose from the menu but I felt like I had to go with their speciality which was the spicy beef soup. They also provided side dishes for you to enjoy along the meal. The servers were attentive and always kept checking on me.Overall great experience and good place to grab some soup or Korean food.

Not only was the yuk gae jang delicious, it was HUGE. They also have a variety of noodle options which is very enjoyable as you get to choose from so many noodle types. You could definitely share one order. The sides are delicious as well, and the staff are very attentive and refill them frequently. I also had the spicy cold noodles which have never failed me. Their pickled veggies that go in the cold noodles are particularly pleasant.

I came here on a cold day, and the soup was just what I needed. I was also craving KBBQ but didn't have in me to do AYCE, so this was a good alternative.I had 0 wait time when I came in around 7PM, so that was a huge plus. I ordered off of recommendations from the workers as this was my first time having this, and they did not lead me astray. The inside was pretty spacious, and they combined two tables to fit the food on our table which was nice too!
