Came across Curry Yaa while browsing the Anaheim Food Co and this particular restaurant caught my attention. After looking through their menu I ended up ordering the Curry Yaa Chicken Katsu which ended up being the bomb!! This was my first time trying this dish and I enjoyed it tremendously!! The chicken was crispy and the gravy sauce had a nice kick to it!! 5 stars for a meal well done! I'II be back. Enjoy and Bon Appetit!

Got back to our hotel late after Disneyland and was looking for some good food. I wanted Japanese food and something with rice. Found this place on yelp/uber eats. They had good reviews so we gave it a try. Our food was supposed to arrive by 11:15pm but arrived earlier than expected. Yay. The food did not disappoint! Japanese is my family's comfort food and since being here for 6 days, we've been eating a lot of American food, this really hit the spot for us. All I can say is we were really happy with how fast it arrived, the rice was cooked correctly, the food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

I know the owner (Kenji) and he is well-traveled and started cooking at a very young age. I have watched Kenji cook many times and I know the ingredients are quality and fresh and even in a small kitchen, Kenji and his team worked wonders. I was having a bad day and per my request, Kenji made the Karaage (Japanese friend chicken) which usually come with curry and rice, but I opted for miso soup and rice and a side of Katsu sauce. The food was ready in minutes.I worked late and got home around 3:00 a.m. and just had the food today at 1:30 p.m. All I can say is "Wow!!" That really brightened my day.You need to try the Karaage chicken which is fried chicken thigh (dark meat) and this is better than any American fried chicken. It should brighten your day. It brightened my day. :)The portions are healthy and I saved some for my kids. It is better to order through one of the apps and the order is done fast, within minutes. I know Uber Eats and Door Dash people hang out around the building ready to pick up the orders whenever orders come through the restaurant and the orders are ready within minutes.Sorry no photo -- I dug into it before I got my camera ready :)

Last day for the soft opening special for 30% off.To start, the place is located in between a bunch of warehouse buildings, and fairly hard to find. Once you find the building, there's a big sign that says take out but it's not the sign for the actual restaurant. It's combined with other take out restaurants so it may be hard to find.Food portions are very small compared to the pricing, especially the fish. The crab cream croquettes were disappointing as I found 3 of them without any crab cream filling, just fried batter. The shrimp tempura was way too oily tasting for my liking. The takoyaki were stuffed with the tiniest piece of octopus that you can barely taste them. Hoping that this is just some "soft opening" mishaps but as for me, definitely don't think it's worth coming back for. There are plenty of better Japanese restaurants elsewhere.

I like this place even they do take out only. They've been trying to new items also price is pretty ok. I'd like to suggest a thing...Rice...Rice is too hard and dry... Bette to add more water when you cook and mix well after cooked and keep in better condition. Like Japanese foods doesn't match with long grain rice that's why we use short grain one but I feel like your short grain is same as long grain...I'm very sorry if I'm saying too much. Anyway, I like your foods and looking forward your new items^^
