Y-Not = Tony backwards. Did you know that? Well, that's what I was told about 15 years ago. Great to see this place is still around. Lot's of choices on the menu but I always get a burger. Cheeseburger that is. Prices have changed since Covid, the double cheeseburger combo (w/fries and drink) is $15.95 after taxes. But, it's a big burger, enough that I wasn't able to finish my fries (I know, I sin!). Nice sized dining area, all booths, with a few table outside. Fountain drinks so you can get your own refill. Napkins and condiments at each booth so you don't have to get up to get more ketchup, etc. The napkins are helpful as the burgers are juicy, messy and very good. I'll probably get a single next time. It had been quite a while since I ate here so I erred on the side of larger is better, right? In the mood for a very good burger? Well, why not give this place a try? Enjoy!

This place is mid at best.I observed that there were a lot of locals around, so this is definitely the neighborhood greasy spoon. But, for the price, the quality is not there.I paid 16.25 in January 2025. Yeah, inflation. Sure. But here's the thing. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger was dry, meat tough and fries overcooked. They charged extra for ranch. It was an underwhelming burger. The place is a little questionable. I went to get some peppers and it looks like the bin was never cleaned and the peppers were there for a while. The mural is confusing. Is that San Pedro they are depicting? We're in the middle of Torrance.I don't know, I would think twice about coming back. It seems I can get better quality for the price. The staff was nice, so there's that.

Located off Hawthorne Bl in Torrance. This place has been here since I can remember as a little kid and I never tried or been in it since today. I've always drove by it and as a kid my parents would drive by it as well. Finally I got to try this place and I'm glad did I got the cheese burger combo (burger, fries and a drink) this burger has to be on my top 5 burgers I've eaten. It's like a burger you got from like Yellow Basket or one of those many burger drive in places if you know what I mean it's something different about them compared to the fast food joints and many restaurants. The staff here was friendly and greeted you coming in and leaving. I would say this is a great place for families though the pricing could be a little high for a big family. Overall good tasting burgers in my opinion.

A Torrance neighborhood staple! Taste just like how it did when I was a kid. Can't beat the prices here and love the fast service.

I am going to give five stars for the customer service alone. Breakfast burritos are a hit. It's my morning spot.

Really budget friendly, fresh and delicious...and there's a drive-thru! Y-Not is a neighborhood asset. I like how we have quick, drive-thru choices around the community that aren't just McDonalds and the big corporate entities. They're regular size 1/4 lb burgers are huge for around $7 (a great value) and the junior burgers (perfect size for me) are only $4 and much heartier than In-N-Out! An order of fries is enough to share. The dining room is really big and easy for a casual and quick lunch or dinner. They also serve breakfast here.

Came here for the first time & we ordered:1. Bacon cheeseburger combo + another burger alone 2. Large order side of fries 3. Mozzarella sticks 4. 1/4 lb cheeseburger 5. Grilled cheese Price-wise it's about the same as any other fast food establishment for a family of fourGrilled cheese tasted like it was made with velveta cheese, person at the window said it was with white bread also. Personally I like grilled cheese on sourdough + a lot of cheese, so if this was my only food item ordered I would've rated around 3/4 out 5. But, the mozzarella sticks were so delicious and came with enough marinara sauce ~6 sticks per order, about $1/stick Main reason for rating 5/5 is because the Burgers did not disappoint & Fries tasted fresh fresh. Like burn your tongue if you don't wait kind of fresh. We ordered through the drive thru but by peeking inside the restaurant looks like a nice old school diner and I plan on dining in next time Pay extra for ranch (I think 0.25cent) seems standard nowadays-- overall will def come back esp since i wanna try their breakfast burrito (breakfast only served at breakfast time LOL)

If you want a charbroiled burger I'll give it a 7/10 there are better places. Breakfast burritos are 8/10 a little over priced for what it is but it gets the job done for a basic craving.

Y-Not has been here for years and we need to keep it in business! The way this area is getting more and more expensive, it's nice to have good tasting food at a great price.
