Woody's Diner

No food pictures today because I was starving and wolfed it down! My husband and I both ordered Woody burgers with cheddar cheese and I added bacon and avocado. We split sides of beer-battered fries and onion rings. A side of onion rings is only 4 which is not enough because they are tasty. Beer-battered fries were delicious! The burger patties taste like regular USFoods or Sysco frozen patties, but the buns made all the difference. They were more hearty and didn't get soggy. The avocado was thick wedges and bacon was good too. We should have come Tuesday because they have BOGO burger Tuesdays.

I had lunch here today with Dennis. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. I love the chocolate and peanut butter malt. That's my jam.The Reuben sandwich with onion rings were pretty good.Dennis had coffee and a club sandwich. They were good about refilling his .I appreciate the attentiveness and will return soon.

Visited Woodys for brunch with our running crew. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our table. The wait for the food was about 20 min but all our 6 meals were brought out together. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was 10/10. The eggs and bacon with hash brown was also tasty. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. Will be coming back when in the area.

the portions here are huge so i share a breakfast. ordered a side of cinnamon roll and it wasn't good. it was dry and hard. won't order that again. staff attentive enough.

I was told to check this place out Woodys diner. The food was just mid. nothing impressive and the food was kind of pricey.

The service was top notch. The Burgers, fries and club sandwiches are outstanding. ! We will certainly be back

Woods's Diner was a great breakfast spot for four of us on Saturday morning. We found a parking spot and the entrance to seating inside at a booth. It's too bad that the Jukebox is a display piece only. The decor is nicely done with Huntington Beach surfing motief. Our server was Hailey D. She was attentive and got our orders in good fashion. Other servers checked on us as well, and I was actually impressed by the good, friendly vibes. My order was the Corned Beef Hash with 2 eggs over well and some hash browns and Sourdough toast. My only wish was that I had more of that grilled corn beef hash because it tasted really savory good. The hash browns came out ok and putting ketchup sparingly over the top made for a good bite. The eggs were perfect, which is actually a surprise because of the different ways my order could be interpreted. I also ordered a big glass of orange juice, which came nice and cold. Everyone had their choices and appeared to have enjoyed their plates. The lovely missus did take leftovers home. Woody's Diner with the friendliness of staff was a good choice.

I usually eat outdoors on their patio. I guess I could have given them a few reviews because I've eaten at Woody's about 3x in the last year. Each time was a pleasant experience. I always get the french toast and my husband gets something different every time. Everything we have had so far has been great. If I could critique, I would say that more attention to the outside patrons would be appreciated. I understand that the people inside the building are closest to you, and maybe the weather outside sucks, or whatever, but it would be nice to have our cups refilled or at least asked if we want a refill more often, because we can't just raise our hand or call you over, because you can't see what is going on when you are inside.

Everytime we go to any Woodys the staff is always friendly. The food is always consistent. Good prices. I highly recommend any Woodys.

This may be my own fault. I visited this Woodys for the first time this past Sunday afternoon. My wife and I needed a burger. I ordered the big double patty burger and onion rings "crispy". Something may have gotten lost in translation. I can only assume that our server wrote the word "well" in the ticket. The onion rings were crispy alright (and tasteless as a result) AND my burger patties were burnt to a crisp. Grey on the inside and black on the outside. I didn't think to ask if they were able to cook them medium rare or at least pink-ish. Anyway, just a heads up, depending on your server, you may want to double check things with them. She wasn't really forthcoming about options like this.
