Fantastic selection of wine and cheeses that you can't find many other places. Steve is super knowledgeable and friendly. The Wine Club is a fantastic deal and always provides an interesting selection each month. Highly recommend checking this place out!

This is literally one of the best neighborhood gems that you can find! I love the variety of wine that they carry from Italian to natural and even sparkling. Steve, the owner, is very knowledgeable of wine and will even help you pair a special meal to what he has in stock. In addition to their wide variety of wine, they also carry a selection of cheeses and goods such as pickle chips, amazing sardines, olive oil, etc.. they even have ice cream! I can't forget to mention their sandwich selection. I am obsessed with the rosemary ham sandwich that is paired with this cherry jam that is to die for. I have also pre-ordered the charcuterie boxes and always receive raving compliments on them.The store itself is always clean and organized, and as mentioned carries an assortment of all goods including nice gifts, such as cookbooks. OK, one last thing that I really love about them is their wine club! It is extremely affordable and I am never disappointed with the selection. I love that as a wine club member you also get a discount on every purchase in the store. So if you are looking for a great selection of wine, cheeses, goods, etc --come here!!!

Wine Cheese Etc is a true neighborhood gem. There is such a warmth about Steve and Kerri. They bring you high quality products at reasonable prices. I've now ordered 3 charcuterie boards, am a member of their fabulous wine club, attended a handful of their events and have always had a great time! Steve goes the extra mile in sharing his recommendations. Service is exceptional and the ambiance is cozy/clean. There's always something new to discover. And did I mention? The sandwiches are amazing too!

Decided to check this place out since I needed to bring something for a potluck. Placed a charcuterie board order with Steve. My box had a great selection of gourmet items. It had a trio of different salami samplers. It had dried nectarines, dried cranberries, fresh blueberries, and fresh grapes for fruit options. There were also 3 types of cheeses. Loved that one was sheep's milk. I also loved that there were also olive, cornichons, marcona almonds, and other types of nuts. It also came with 3 different types of crackers with a mini cup of honey. Honestly, it was very well thought out. I truly loved the variety in the box. My friends loved it. Steve exemplified great customer service. There were also other items in store. It was pretty spacious. There isn't anywhere for seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go type vibe. Huge selection of wine, picnic necessities, and so much more!

Open 7 days a week, Wine Cheese Etc. provides a great service to the Long Beach community for wine, cheese, and ... butter?We stopped by on a Monday afternoon, and there was plenty of parking (shared parking strip mall parking lot). I have been on the lookout for the best butter I could find to eat with fresh bread, since our Europe trip and settled on 'Rodolphe Le Meunier' to try. I was pleasantly surprised that one of the places that carry it, was right here in LBC.It's a smaller shop, manageable by one person. The owner/proprietor was very friendly, and gave us some suggestions on cheese (which we followed: Milton Praire Breeze $8.99) and fresh European bread, which we intend to try (with the purchased butter of course). I'm a sucker for sour dough flatbread crisps, so had to pick up a box of that ($8.50). Note that it has a small variety of cheeses, all already individually pre-wrapped (this is not a cheese shop where they have wheels of cheese, ready to be cut on-demand). Next time, will take advantage of the expert wine/cheese pairing.

For my sons Prom & Champagne send-off, and with less than 2 weeks, Steve managed to customize a charcuterie "cup" order for me.I will admit, we are not the biggest gourmet/exotic cheese and meat & fruit connoisseurs, and one of our guests had a nut allergy but Steve impeccably and without judging curated a lovely collection of goodies that my guests loved. Yes -- he dummied down the items to fit our simple palate and we were so grateful!They were delivered and set up to my surprise and my guests were absolutely impressed! Boy did I win the day! They were not cheap, but we needed them to be easy to handle and self-contained since we were at a park. Steve - thank you so much for helping make our day. And thank you for the text wishing my son a happy prom .

This business has now turned me away twice when trying to order. The first time I was trying to order day of so I can understand. Second time I called more than a day in advance and was still refused. Shop somewhere that values your business. Steve doesn't care about the business.Nice response to try and show you care about your clientele but it's very dishonest. Steve was very rude on the phone I'm surprised this store has any good reviews.Maybe if you spent as much time tending to your "clientele " as you do responding on yelp your business will be more successful. Thanks for reaching out again though.

We came for the Grab and Go sandwich. The Truffle Shuffle was a tasty sandwich - my only complaint is that my husband and I couldn't taste any truffle at all (and we love truffle). It's a tad pricey for a sandwich of that size but you can taste that they use good ingredients so it makes sense. If they change the Truffle Shuffle to have a truffle taste, I'd be down to try it again!

I love this place!!! I just moved down the street and my new favorite activity is to get a matcha for coffee parlor down the block and then walk in here and pick up a great bottle of wine. The owners are so friendly and not pretentious at all about wine. It is a lovely neighborhood spot and highly recommend!

Stephen might be one of the nicest people I've ever met and this might be the most incredible wine, cheese, and gift shop I've seen in a long time. There is an incredible selection of wine - and Stephen is clearly such an expert on the varieties, vineyard owners, wine makers, and spends so much time curating an incredible selection for anyone in the area. If you are lucky enough to live near here, or drive by here, and you love wine, cheese, and other snacks, you'll be in heaven! 1000/10 recommend!
