WeDats is a seafood and wings fast food take out restaurant they have only been open in Gardena Ca for 4 mo. they're based in New Orleans with two others there.This is really clean place inside with only six chairs inside plus two in the front, there seems to be just two staff working on a Sat. afternoon.I orderd the honey garlic chicken sandwich which was pretty good and seasoned well, but the fries was just so so, the 9 pc. shrimp this was also pretty good too, and lastly the 12 pc. sweetheat wings noe this was the bomb bursting with sweetness.I was Impressed when my order came out the manager JC open each order to reassure me that my order was correct.

Well the good news is that I am back here again at WE DATS.. bad news is my mother ate the rest of my mac n cheese!! Today I Ordered the honey garlic wings and lemon pepper dry rub with 2 orders of mac n cheese!!!First off the lemon pepper is better than Wingstop, and I like Wingstop!! It seems like the flavor is sealed in!! The honey the garlic delicious the sauce is plentiful and flavorful!! The mac n cheese needs to come in a larger size- the MAC n CHEESE is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo GOOD!!

Latryguy, an Instagram foodie influencer, influenced me to come out and try it, and he was with Matt Barnes. I do love me some New Orleans fried food, and I knew I had to try this spot. Wedats is located in a Plaza next to Baskin Robins and Burnt Tortilla. Parking space is plenty but cramped, and it can get busy as it is a shared parking.They have wings, tenders, chicken sandwhich, and seafood. So today, I opted for their seafood and chose the Brow Special. The special includes 2 fish, 5 shrimp, and a side of fries for $18.99. The fish is Swai, and you can opt to upgrade for the catfish at an additional $3.00. I am impressed with their portions. They do not skimp. I can honestly say that what I ordered can feed 2 people. Fish was really big. Batter is exceptional and flavorful. Fries was hot and crispy. Everything was just so damn good. Also, this place is take out only. No dining, and I just want to point out how clean and organized the kitchen is. One more thing: the staff is super cool. I will definitely come back and try the rest of their food.

I kept seeing two wing spots blowing up on Instagram from foodie influencers, so I decided to visit the one closest to my house, just seven minutes away. Located off Redondo Beach Blvd., in the strip mall between Baskin Robbins and Burnt Tortilla. This place has new signage, clean interior and wall decor art celebrating New Orleans was a nice touch. They have a variety of drinks in the refrigerator to choose from.The young lady at the cash register was very friendly and recommended the Wuzzam wings, the most popular option, which combines buffalo and lemon pepper sauces. This combo sounded great to us, so I made sure to request my wings extra crispy, as I love my wings that way. We also ordered fries on the side.After 15 minutes, we received our order and immediately tried the wings in the car. Unfortunately, the wings were not crispy at all; they were juicy and tender but lacked crispy exterior. This was disappointing, especially since I had specifically asked for them to be extra crispy. The flavor also didn't quite hit the mark for me.When I try new wing spots, I always compare them to my favorite place. Unfortunately, Hot Wuzzam didn't measure up this time.Hot Wuzzam wings 3/5 not crispy and the sauce was just OKService: Friendly and welcoming.Cleanliness: Great Despite this experience, I might return to try a different wing flavor and ensure they make it crispy.

I was so excited and happy to try this place out being that it's a Cajun New Orleans flavor style establishment! I was greeted when I arrived but one of the workers had his cell phone out on a personal call which I felt was unnecessary when a customer is their to place an order. Just step to the back or outside.I ordered the lemon pepper wings w fries and it was ready within the timeframe given. Rushed home popped the bag open and everything looked yummy (presentation).Started with the fries which looked like they were seasoned but bland to taste, soft w no crunchy texture at all! Wings soft, most likely baked and the season as someone posted on a prior Yelp yesssss very salty! Tried dipping into the ranch to combat the high taste of salt but it didn't help! Then at the last minute you get a lemon twang taste! Maybe I should gotten a different flavor for my wings. If I do go back the wings would be requested with no sauce and fries to be cooked well done. Very disappointed! Either the cooks they have fail to follow the recipes or they have no Cajun cooking experience

Very misleading yelp search. We searched for fried fish near me and thought WeDats would be a hit. Especially with the discount for signing up for the email and the spend $24 get a free bag of red beans. The server, cook, cashier guy said no NO. He didn't have a clue about what I was referring to. I thought the prices were ridiculous and the sides were very limited. My friend is driving while I write this review and I have to say, it show do smells goòoood. I may be editing this .

I wanted some fish and I came just to see they were closed. Please update your hours if you aren't open.

The service was really nice..... I ordered the jumbo shrimp and fries. The shrimp was good. The fries were nasty. Luckily, I went next door to McDonalds and got free fries on Friday. And I also grabbed a drink from McDonalds for $.149. The drinks here were $2.99 for a 20oz. I couldn't do it. My husband got the wings... they were cool. Kinda small though. Oh, they're kinda pricey also.
