10/10 i couldn't believe how great the staff and lunch specials were. I also ordered the sticky rice which is a must. I love how they actually base the spice factor on traditional Thai levels. Can't wait to come back.

I had wanted to go to Warin Thai for quite some time; it's pretty highly reviewed on Yelp, and I was excited to check it out. I ended up ordering takeout, so I didn't really interact with staff much. My order was completed promptly for pickup and prices were super reasonable.I ordered the Pad See Ewe with beef, Pad Khee Mao with chicken, green curry with fried tofu, and yellow curry with chicken. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with both of the noodle dishes. The Pad See Ewe had a strange flavor, almost as if it had been burned. The Pad Khee Mao wasn't bad, but it had absolutely no Thai basil flavor. It didn't really taste like a typical drunken noodle. I did really enjoy the curry dishes. Both had a good amount of veggies, tofu, and/or chicken. They were a bit too sweet, but I still enjoyed them overall.Unfortunately, not my favorite Thai restaurant in the South Bay. I'm partially wondering if things would have been different had I not ordered takeout and instead ate in person.

This place has been on my list for quite some time. Hard to say where I received the recommendation, probably IG. I want to premise that I have been to Thailand a few times, so I am attuned to the cuisine. I do not agree with the 4 1/2 stars. I went to another Thai place a couple nights ago over in LB and it was fantastic, quite delicious and traditional. I had a similar dish here, the crispy pork with the Chinese broccoli. The crispy pork was significantly overcooked and was more like jerky. the sauce lacked any depth of flavor, just brown gravy. The Rice was mushy and overcooked. There was a lot of poorly executed dishes. The calamari was clearly not real calamari. The cheese wontons were flavorless and not appealing. The truth is nothing was done well and the restaurant was a Ghost Town. One person walked in over the course of two hours to get a to go order. I will not be back.

[Review #808]2024-007Food Order:PAD SEE EWE (stir fried flat rice noodles, steamed tofu, eggs, Chinese broccoli) LUNCH SPECIAL with RICE, GREEN SALAD & CRISPY WONTON, MANGO STICKY RICEI was craving Thai food, but my former go-to no longer serves with consistency. Warin Thai popped up on my search; it's a bit farther in Harbor City but I'm down for good food. It was my office's weekly lunch treat & needed to run an errand nearby, so it was perfect!Located across from Kaiser, off the corner of PCH & Normandie Ave., the restaurant sits on the far right corner of the Harbor Plaza 1. Parking is free, with limited spaces, & they are tight.I called in my order, & actually called a couple of times because I couldn't get through & wasn't sure if they were open. When I finally got through, a pleasant voice greeted me, took my order & repeated it before ending the call. Upon entry, I was greeted, my cc charged, & was out the door in a couple of mins. after snapping a few pics of the menu & dining room. The decor is plain, the tables were spaciously set apart (social distancing?), room was clean & organized during lunch rush. The round trip to/from my office was nearly 40-mins., & my lunch was surprisingly warm! The noodles were cooked to a perfect al dente, & sauced just enough to coat & nicely caramelized. I ordered tofu as the protein accompaniment, taking on the soy sauce flavors. The Chinese broccoli was also cooked just right; I just wished there was more of it. The lunch special also includes jasmine rice, green salad & crispy wonton. Nothing unusual about the salad, just your typical greens. It's a decent lunch portion, though I can't imagine what the regular looks like. I finished off with a serving of the classic mango sticky rice. It was absolutely delicious... & most satisfying!!Though the menu is compact, it contains the standards & then some. Decent portions, but you definitely get the bang for your buck here! Excellent & friendly service, though I had an issue getting through on the phone even past lunch rush (after 1:00 PM).I'm definitely game for more good eats here... a South Bay hidden gem that's waiting for you to discover!Recommended: Pad See Ewe Lunch Special, Mango Sticky Rice.

I think I found my new favorite Thai restaurant! I got the lunch special for $11 + $2 for adding shrimp! It was so delicious & filling. The pad see ewe was so flavorful. The service was great and the food came out quick. We ordered for pick up & was given really nice takeout boxes. The inside was very clean and organized. I'm definitely coming again and bringing more people to try & enjoy with me!

Parking lot full but no one in the restaurant. The employee reception was very cold. No welcome. Just put menus down on a table and walked away. The service was relaxed if not slow. The food was tasty and portion was enough for two for my needs. The place is quiet and comfortable.

Ate here for lunch. The food was very good for the price and relatively quick service. 13 for a vegetarian curry is a good price especially for the mix of the spice. It doesn't seem like this place is very busy sadly so try to show some support!

Delicious! Go here! Food is delicious. Authentic as it can get. Fair warning though, if you don't handle spicy, get the less spicy/mild version. It's definitely Thai Thai spicy. But for me it was delicious and exactly what I was craving! Personal opinion, which the server warned me about, their pad Thai isn't very sweet. I quite enjoyed it, but for American tastebuds it's not sweet enough. I took it to go so idk if the service is good. But while I was waiting I was speaking to the staff and they seem cool and genuine. The restaurant is new so it's super clean. Not going to lie, I was a bit caught off guard cause it's next to an adult video store but I mean the food is worth the weird location.

I had the Kaprao crispy pork and Tom Yum soup. I'm used to spicy stuff as I eat a lot of spicy Mexican and Indian food, so I figured "what the hell" and ordered both at spice level 3, thinking it can't be that bad. It felt like I had seasoned my food with bear mace. Tears and snot flowed like water. I questioned every life decision that led me to that moment. I thought "is this what hell feels like?" but I couldn't stop eating it. I found myself loudly moaning due to both the pain and the delicious flavor. 10/10, worth it. I will be eating here again soon! The food was not only delicious but completely fulfilled my inner desires for masochism. Seriously though, highly recommended if you like spicy food, and of course if not there are plenty of non spicy dishes to choose from. Nice low key interior with soft warm lighting and friendly staff. Next time I will try the Pad Kaprao (maybe slightly less spicy this time, lol. Maybe!)
