WA WOK - Chinese Food

The food was great! very big servings for the money and well worth it, everything tasted fresh and delicious, i genuinely enjoyed the quick service and was able to enjoy my lunch break without waiting so long for food. i would highly recommend trying place out. the vibe of this place is also very nice and cleanly kept.

I feel like employees can be rude, but never have experience someone so not considerate.I think I'm more upset because I had actually moved out of the area but this Chinese food place was my favorite to go to. I still make the drive when I'm craving some good Chinese food to come here. The food is not the problem at all, I recommend it, it's an employee . I may look young and I get told a lot that I am thought to he 16 when Im actually turning 26. So when I have my daughter is with me I do encounter stares or even sighs of relief from people who ask my age. So I feel a lot of the time people do not take me serious. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but there's no reason to be rude to someone regardless of their age. I had a doctors appointment in the area and since it was only 15 minutes til open I decided to wait for them to open so that I could order. I walked around big five in the meantime. Finally, it was 1030 so I went to order but at that time my three year old daughter had to go potty. I had asked them for the key and they said it's for customers only and I politely said oh I am ordering food, but my daughter needs to go, this woman refused and rudely cut me off I didn't even finish explaining. I wanted to tell her I had already been waiting since 10:15 for them to open. You can make your own rules but how inconsiderate can you be a toddler that has to use the potty they do not have they do not have the same will as an adult to hold their bladder. I was rushed to order. I actually I'm not even enjoying my food because this isn't even what I wanted. I just ordered whatever because I felt so pressured too so that my daughter could use the restroom. Because they assumed I was lying and had already ordered one plate and she said "one plate OK it's going to be" and I said I'm still ordering another plate because I told you I am ordering from here. Even after the fact because my head was so jumbled and I was infuriated I forgot to order a side of chow mein, which I did after. I am so disappointed in my favorite Chinese food spot, and the way that their employees treat customers.

Food is ok but customer service is poor here. They didn't want to give us an extra source lol. I was like can I just buy one and they said no. It was funny and sad at the same time. They told me that source was for something else and I told her well I like that one lol.. not coming here again. No need to get mad.

Food was not as good as usual. Lady said two tempura shrimp was two in an appetizer. They ended up be $2 each. The food was ok-good. Not the best. Staff was nice. Place is clean in front. Can not see back. Not my first choose of Chinese fast food. There are better.

I recently dined at this Chinese restaurant and had a mixed experience. I ordered the chow mein, orange chicken, and barbecue pork. The chow mein was enjoyable, with thin noodles that had a nice texture, similar to angel hair pasta. The orange chicken was flavorful and well-seasoned. However, I would not recommend the barbecue pork--it had an unusual taste that was off-putting.The fortune cookies, while individually wrapped and cute, were extremely stale and disappointing. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean. The two young servers seemed a bit overwhelmed by the busy atmosphere, which led to a wait of just over 10 minutes for our food. Overall, the experience was hit or miss, with some highlights and a few letdowns.

Had to try it while in town and it was a hit. I will return while in town again. Place was clean.

I've been here way too many times even before the name change. So after my visit today I refuse toever go back and give this place my money. They lost a loyal customer I came in Wednesday, June 5th at noon closer to 12:30. Went in hoping to get some Chinese food and go home and have a wonderful Wednesday lunch. Well to my surprise the lady who was making my plate asked what I wanted and I asked how long the wait was for the rice noodles she said 8 min but I decided to wait. Then changed my mind and just got the normal chow mein and fried rice. Then I said bbq pork and beef and broccoli and said I'll do the 3 entree and I will get walnut shrimp. Then said you know what no I'll get the chicken mushroom the shrimp looked a bit sad. She then snapped at me and said so bbq pork and shrimp and beef broccoli I said no shrimp. I want the chicken mushroom in the cup please and she started going off idk what she said but she was nottalking in English and I went over to the cashier to pay. She then again repeated the order with shrimp I said no and corrected her on the order and she started b$&!&n and I'm sorry but that was not ok. So I said never mind I don't want this food anymore. Then I walked out of the place and I will never be looking back! I'll go to silver palace in Whittier for larger portion and better customer service. Get better employees!

My plate was loaded, as customary for any chinese restaurant so it's got points for that. Got helped pretty quickly too. Meat could have had more flavor and the pork was a bit overcooked, dryish. Overall pretty decent however.

Good food that's reasonably priced. Love their chow mein and rice noddles. The shrimp and chicken rolls are also top tier.

Very delicious soups! I uber eats this place often & it always comes fresh & steamy hot would recommend this place to anyone in the area
