Have been here a few times with girlfriends and let me tell you the octopus tacos are out of this world! The service has always been very good, and the chips and salsa are tasty! I love that the chips have a little seasoning on them which makes them different from your standard chips and salsa! My only qualm is that as with many other businesses along Catalina the seating options are not the best. Smaller interior seating, but they do offer outdoor seating the chairs are just not the comfiest, but honestly that doesn't ever hinder me from coming back for the delicious margaritas! Will definitely be back here to celebrate another girls night out!

Disappointing because we were looking forward to giving this place a try after exploring Candycane Lane on Saturday night - came around 10PM since they supposedly close at midnight according to their hours listed both Yelp and Google. The gentleman who greeted us let us know they were closed. I asked what time and he said, "we closed around 9:15..."Please update your hours online to avoid any confusion/disappointed customers! Not only were we hungry, but we also wasted gas going out the way.

Checked out this new place with friends for a happy hour. We got some tacos, salsa and beer off the HH menu, which was pretty reasonable. My vegetarian friend tried the tempura cauliflower tacos, which were tasty but overloaded with flowers. I tried the ahi tuna taco, which was SO SO good. I highly recommend - every bite was full of explorer and this really cooling taste which went perfectly with the beer. Not in love with the place yet, but plan to go again. The restaurant is in Redondo's Riveria Village which is always a cool place to walk around.

I think this takes the top spot of all the modern mexican restaurants in the South Bay. To start, even the complimentary tortilla chips are fantastic. It was hard to choose from the extensive menu and we were pretty hungry, so we got esquite, tacos and surf and turf burrito. Everything was great but the surf and turf was our favorite. Our server was very friendly and food came out fast.

Went on a Saturday evening and the street is very busy at that time. We were able to get in without a wait. Chips and salsa and water were dropped off immediately, and service was prompt. We dined in side. The tables are close together and it is very noisy inside. Food- hubby had the el pastor taco and the cod taco with rice and beans. Both were good, he liked the guacamole on the cod taco.I had a tempura cauliflower taco, the cauliflower pieces were cold so it wasn't quite how I would choose to have it. Fried food doesn't taste that good cold. My other taco was mushroom, it had diced mushrooms with salsa and guacamole. I feel like more attention could be given to sweet/sour/savory balance on these. They came on gluten free sweet potato tortillas that had a great texture, I didn't detect sweet potato in the flavor, they were just good tortillas. The salsas had good flavor.

We went here for Cinco De Mayo. We started off with some complimentary chips and salsa. Then we ordered some guacamole which was ok, I thought it was a bit salty. For my entree I ordered a carne asada taco and al pastor taco. I liked the Al pastor more than the carne asada. I thought the carne was a bit too salty for my palette. Two tacos for $15.50 if you want rice and beans it's extra. The tacos were enough for me. Service was great, Joe was tentative, nice, and efficient. He was very helpful and made the experience delightful. Ambiance is nice, we didn't have reservations so we just sat at the railing table which faced the street and sidewalk which was fine.

Surf and turf burrito is definitely a must order. It is served like a sushi roll and the proportions of shrimp, asada, and the other ingredients are perfect bite sized. The cheese dip was also good, very cheesy could and tortillas were good! Shrimp enchiladas were solid, a little too much cheese on top but I still enjoyed the entree overall. I would probably try something else out next time though. Inside restaurant is smaller but they have a bigger patio space to eat as well. Service was great! I want to go back for the happy hour as they seem to have some good options!

I having been regularly enjoying meals at Vida since it opened in 2021.The service is outstanding and the food is superb. Given the high quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable. I tend to most often frequent the restaurant during lunch where our group enjoys the lunch specials on the well-appointed and very comfortable outdoor patio. My lunch recommendation is the delicious Vida Burrito, but there are lots of other amazing choices/dishes from which to choose. They also have many healthy options and accommodate special requests. A special thank you to Mickey & Justin, the friendly and very hospitable owners, for opening and operating their restaurant in our local community - a most welcome and fun addition to the Riviera Village area of Redondo!Tip: The chips are always amazing, so make sure to at least try them. Enjoy !

This place has gone downhill unfortunately. The food is ok. Presentation has changed. I've given it a shot twice after lackluster experience but nothing has changed. The hostess was horrible - rude / indifferent. No one ever smiled or was helpful. The waitress took over 10 min to come on a non busy day. Arianna -- and never even smiled. Our cups of water would go empty. Even bringing the check or picking it up was quiet -- no engagement. The food was brought out while letting their hands come across our plates - a big no no in service. The only nice person was the bus boy. No one else engaged. Not even a thank you. Won't be coming back again.

Oddly enough, first time I had Vida was ordering tacos on Uber Eats. I thought, if the delicious tacos were that good after traveling, I needed to try them at the restaurant. I went once for the tacos and margaritas, a second time to explore the rest of the menu, and then had to bring the family for a celebration event. Everyone loves the food and the drinks. Staff is super friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great location and easy going vibe.
