Vera's Tacos

This taco truck is located in the parking lot for Vera's market with plenty of parking in their parking lot. Omg the carne asada sope was so good and the size of it was the size of 2 sopes. Everything about the way it was made was perfect.The carne asada fries though I feel like it was missing something. I ordered it with everything on it onions and cilantro ( didn't see much of either). I probably wouldn't order this again , but the sope definitely You request the hot sauce you want at the window, but they have a self serve veggie condiment area which was very clean and organized. The menu didn't show prices of anything they had, would be nice if prices were listed. I will definitely be back for more sope and make try something else

Vera's is a local legend for sure--my friends and I have been coming here for a good amount of years. It's a taco truck, but a taco truck that remains parked right in front of Vera's Market. The nice part is you can grab a drink or other things you need from the market. Somehow, tacos just taste better coming out of a truck! Food always tastes super fresh and is made pretty quickly.The market/truck are tucked away just a turn off Wardlow street. I've always been able to find a parking spot here, but just keep in mind it's a one-way parking lot strip with only so many spots so it may be a little tight. There should be plenty of parking in the neighbor as well though. There's a few tables outside you can sit down in but we've always gotten food to go and it still tastes great.I've tried pretty much all the meats here and you can't go wrong, they're all delicious--there's a huge variety and a wide selection of vessels to put them in. The tortillas for the tacos have that homemade taste and texture to them. Personally my favorite is the carnitas--it has just the right amount of crisp texture and meatiness to it. The cabeza, which many places don't do, is also great and is actually well made here. The lengua also has a great texture and flavor...but again, you can't go wrong with any choice here.I recommend you also try the potato tacos (tacos de papa)--it's almost like having mashed potatoes inside fried hard shell tacos (dorados). The greens and crema they put on top are just so subtle and really compliment it well. It comes with 4 per order so it's good to share if you come with others.The prices are also great--for how big the burritos are, they're practically more economical than getting tacos! They also do all-meat burritos if you're into that. If you're super hungry, consider a quesadilla which is pretty big for the price. Even coming here post-pandemic, it's still great to see they're thriving with great food at great prices.The staff are friendly and they do take card. Also, for the lazy like me--they give you salsas in a bag once you pick up your order. Otherwise per usual at a taco truck you grab veggies and toppings separately on your own!For any taco/taco truck lover in the local area, you gotta stop by. Once you're there, it'll become obvious by how many people are coming and going with to-go orders that it's worth the trip.

My family and I love Vera's Tacos! This taco truck by the Vera's market has some impeccable flavor! Their prices are a bit cheaper than the standard and they serve fairly generous portions. I really love their Asada Fries. The meat is always so tender and flavorful and the fries are quite crispy! Recently, we tried out the Wet Burrito and it was huge, super filled, and so delicious! They get the food out pretty quick and they have a small outdoor dining area by the market as well! The lady that took our order was very nice and patient with us!

I Really like this food truck. I always come here for Asada burrito and potato tacos. Decent price for lots of food. Service is awesome and cleanliness is excellent. Hope your business expand and move toward Anaheim. So I don't have to drive up here.

The regular burritos are the best!! The veggies they put out are FRESH radish/cucumber .. salsa 4 choices! The meat is made at the moment so everything is fresh!! My sons new favorite spot!

Vera Vera Vera!! I mean... I will dream about these damn tacos and burrito for at least another day or two. DELICIOUS!!!! This taco truck, turned taco stand, turned outdoor restaurant is out here slangin' some serious flavors. I've been here a few times many years ago and finally stopped by for a trip down memory lane. I thank the lord for whose ever heavenly fingers have been blessed in making this food. I started off wanting a carne asaba burrito but the aroma from the truck was telling my tummy to order more. AND I DID! I ordered, carne asada fries with guac, potato tacos plate, one carnitas taco, one pastor taco and ofcourse my carne asana burrito. I know it was a lot so asked that you mind ya business around my food portions. . Every bite took me to flavor town. From the grilled onions, cilantro. Jalapeños and salsa my mouth couldn't stop opening up for another bite, even when my stomach said no more, I took another bite. lol this place is it!!!!! Come here and buy everything on the menu. You will NOT regret anything you order. I'll be reheating my burrito for dinner because it was a monstrosity that could feed a small village but my ass is greedy. I'll be back VERA!!!

Handsdown Vera's has one of the best Potato Tacos and Asada Sopes in the city! Both potato tacos and sopes are cooked to a perfect crisp and loaded up! Always our go taco spot in the neighborhood! Line gets pretty long as it's also a market and you have to pay inside and pick up your food outside. Definitely a must try!

Been coming here for years. Love their food. Finally tried the wet burritos. Very good. Only problem was it was cold. I will try it again cuz it tastes good. Hopefully it's hot next time

New items added the menu!Vera's is a taco truck of their word! They told me they would add new items (I had my fingers crossed for nachos) and they delivered! I got their nachos and wet burrito (also a lengua taco, but that was for my cat, who must of been a latina in her past life cause she ate all of it) and it was very delicious!The green sauce is a bit spicy, but I love spiciness, so it's great for me! For others who may not like spiciness, I'd say "beware".Love this place!

The food is always bomb here. I love their potato tacos and tacos al pastor. They're very nice. Especially if you're nice to them, but I've seen it where if you got attitude they'll give it right back.
