I came here for my first omakase experience and it was everything I had hoped it would be! Service was amazing, the decor was very unique, and I loved trying so many new dishes and cuts of fish.We tried the $149 set, and it came with about 10 courses. The standouts for me were the bluefin tuna, monkfish liver, and wagyu uni spoon. All the fish was super fresh, and the wagyu melted in my mouth. I also tend to avoid uni, as it can taste very fishy, but the quality here was great and tasted delicious. I ended the meal very satisfied and full. Overall, I don't think omakase is a repeat experience due to the price, but I don't regret trying it and would recommend everyone to try it once!

This restaurant deserves WAY more attention! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Our bar chef was not only attentive but also incredibly friendly, making sure we had everything we needed and even offering some great recommendations. The vibe here is warm and inviting, and it really felt like they cared about making our experience special. The food was delicious, and we couldn't have asked for better hospitality. I'll definitely be coming back--this place has become one of my new favorites! Highly recommend!

Decent food, nice ambience and wonderful staff. I took my friend here for her birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it fun and special. Waiters were enthusiastic and attentive making it a great dining experience. The food quality and decent, fresh sashimi, which justifies the price for this location. The restaurant's entrance is not very visible and the open neon sign is quite small so it doesn't attract many customers yet. But you should definitely give this place a try for the food and great service!

We happened to be craving sushi and are so glad we tried this spot before last call. It is a nice trendy spot with comfy seats & good music. We ordered the salmon carpaccio, volcano roll, and dragon roll with some sodas. All of the food was so delicious and the service was also really great. Will definitely come back for the next craving!

Uni Japanese has been on my bookmarked list for some time, and I finally got to dine in recently. It was an excellent first impression. We arrived for an early weekday dinner, and although we had reservations, there were plenty of tables for walk-ins and an inviting sushi bar. Along with a great food menu, there is an excellent selection of sake and beer. Food:After reading reviews, I was excited to try a few popular items, and they didn't disappoint. A few of my favorites for dinner were the Soft Shell Crab, Monkfish Liver, grilled yellowtail cheek, and sushi. For my sushi order, I had the Black Cod (Gindara), Wagyu beef, and Sweet Shrimp (Amaebi) with a deep-fried head. All were very delicious, and I would get them again. I also tried the Creamy Seafood Udon, which was creamy, rich, and tasty. I hope to try the Omakase option next time! Service:The service at Uni Japanese was nothing short of exceptional. We were treated with care from the moment we stepped in. Our server was attentive and provided us with some excellent recommendations. The chefs, too, were diligent in ensuring our orders were promptly served, with each dish presented in a visually appealing manner.Ambiance:Once you walk through the door, you're greeted with a unique blend of striking modern decor and touches of classic Japanese artistry. The decorative Sakura trees, though artificial, add a pleasant natural element. The overall mood is relaxing, with just enough lighting to set the perfect ambiance. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our first time dining at Uni Japanese and look forward to our next visit.

Tucked in Korea town in a okay plaza is this Japanese restaurant that offers extremely fresh fish. I was a bit skeptical but now I'm a believer. Live Uni. Wow! Wagyu beef. Delicious! Fresh toro and red snapper. The sushi chefs are Japanese so expect authentic sushi. The restaurant is beautiful and ambience is romantic and trendy. The udon was amazingly good! I can't stop raving about this place. Oh yeah, the service is excellent. Too bad not too many people know about this place. I will definitely come back. For Thinsulin fans, there's plenty of green light options.

Service 5/5: the chef and our server were both very attentive when we were there. Or maybe we were there on a Monday night and were the only customers so we got all the attention. Value 2.5/5: we got the $125 pp omakase, besides the fresh uni everything else was mediocre to best. Not the cheapest omakase for its quality. Food 3/5: this place stood out because they serve fresh uni on its shells that no one else has but we the uni on shell that we had was not the best tasting uni compared to the ones serving on the set. It tasted fresh but not very creamy so it was prolly low end uni. The other dishes came after weren't bad tasting but nothing to remember. We also got the Wagyu and uni spoons but the flavor wasn't as good as I had imagined. Was not an explosive taste in your mouth for the price. Food decoration 4/5: chefs focused on the decoration of each dish so if you're eating with your eyes then it's the spot. Unfortunately the omakase experience did not meet my expectation but I would give this place another shot to try the uni udon and order a la carte.
