This morning was the first time I visited this restaurant. I took one of my referring sources to have breakfast.It's a small and very nostalgic restaurant. The ambience showcase a diner that you would see in the 1950s and 60s. The pictures on the wall showcase Indy cars and other nostalgic racing automobiles.We ordered our our breakfast and coffee from a very friendly server. Our breakfast entrées were served promptly. I ordered French toast with two eggs and ham, and when it was served, it reminded me of when my mom used to make French toast. They do not smother it with powdered sugar, although our server asked me if I would like a little powdered sugar sprinkled, and the eggs that I asked to be over easy were perfectly cooked, the ham was a bit dry, but overall the breakfast was delicious.My guest ordered the eggs Benedict. And raved about the hollandaise sauce and the potatoes were not your typical hashbrowns. They were actually red potatoes that were sliced thinly and cooked to perfection, lightly fried and golden brown.If you're looking for just a restaurant that only serves breakfast, then this is your place.

CASH ONLY!The place is small with only two tables of 4 seats each, bar stools, and outside patio furniture to accommodate more seating. The service was pleasant and since we came on a Monday morning, it was not busy. Tried the eggs Benedict and the French toast. The hollandaise sauce has to be one of the best I've tried. The food arrived fast and the service was attentive. Reason why it's a 4 star is because of the restroom. I understand that the vibe is an old dinners experience but restroom could be updated.

The layout and design of this place fits the perfect definition of a hole in the wall. It's a tiny traditional diner squeezed into an area the size of a average living room. The cook this morning was still being trained, but I thought she did a decent job for being new. I enjoy the pancakes, even though there might be too much butter on the griddle. The vegetable scramble came in a very small portion. The waitress was super nice, and she carried on an easy conversation with all the clients. Seating was tight at the counter, but you do get to share some interesting conversations. Be sure to check out the bathroom. It's as small and as rustic as a typical porta potty. Please beware that this is a cash-only diner.

What a pleasant surprise! Very friendly breakfast spot when we walked in. They are very very small but quite comfortable and homie. The food is cooked to order and was delicious, excellent seasoning. I loved this place and we will be returning.

This place is really small. Too many tables for what fits inside and no waiters. The only waiter is one lady who happens to be very nice and sweet. The place does get packed so expect a VERY long wait. Even after we got our table we still waited a very long time for our food... yikes! After that, the food also took a really long time. There was only 1 cook during this time who kept going outside to check on his dog which he left in the car. We ended up leaving due to the wait for the food. I was bummed out because the food looked good and hearty but we had to leave due to the time that had already been wasted. Really hope this place gets better and sees their potential.

100% recommend their biscuit and gravy first off. We got their corn beef hash omelette and it was off the hook. Great customer service and wish i could thank them again. We got the Philly steak omelette last time along with sides and it was very satisfying.

Super cute old school hole in the wall breakfast joint which is family owned. Yes it's small inside, but it's a step back into the past which I wish we had more of in this modern day society. Food is delicious and I respect the family for having this business open for us to enjoy! Thank you Uncle Buds .Service was great too ! Cash only spot

6/19/23 okay Uncle Bud... I am going to have me some pancakes today!There's one stool availability inside when I walked in and the lady said it'll be 45 minutes for take out.... later she says she'll have the cook make my one order of hot cake NOW--SCORE!!And just like that, in less than five minutes, my cake is ready, and I am out of here. Woo hoo!Thank you SHELBY!!!

My review may not be useful because it's really not so much on the food but the experience itself The place is tiny with two tables inside and about 10 barstools and 3 outdoor tables, homey atmosphere with extremely busy people! One cook doing it all.. pretty impressive I must say.. phone orders seemed to be plentiful and our waitress was like a hummingbird all over the place meeting everybody's needs.. she was friendly and welcoming all while being extremely busy Everything came out hot and fresh after about 30 minutes which was expected and we were told it would be a while.. I had 2 cups of coffee and was pretty full by the time the food came. I ordered biscuits and gravy and pancakes.. I only took a few bites of each ..I was feeling extremely uncomfortable with the person sitting to my left as our thighs were rubbing together.. place is a little bit too cozy for me.. also the pancakes were a bit disappointing.. not light and fluffy but a weird texture. There was plenty of street parkingThe patrons seemed to be regulars was the impression I had. I think the breakfast potatoes was the best thing as they were delicious! ( hubby got the traditional breakfast)Bacon was cooked nicely too!I don't think I'll be back myself because I felt a bit claustrophobic and anxious.. but I can clearly see why people love this place.. you should try for yourself!
