This is a great place for decent seafood. It's also in a central location, but many times the parking can be a challenge during peak hours, so be prepared to wait a bit or try many times. Once inside, though, the good selection of seafood for hotpot makes it worth the effort.One of the highlights is the steamed hotpot with a depth of flavor and good range of choices. Pricing is still comparable to similar places, making it a good option for seafood outing. Every time we've come during the day, it's been packed, and I can imagine it's just even more lively at night, especially with big group with drinks.

If you are craving seafood and have a big group but don't want to spend the big bucks esp at OC a& lau then this place is your alternative. The food here isn't bad or good, it's decent. Service is also decent. the biggest turn off for me so the cash only payment plan. if you are in a big group, you need to carry $200-500 in cash to pay and personally I hate carrying cash. It's actually been +5 years since I've been back here and nothing has changed

Went here to celebrate birth day party with friends and family. Ordered fried rice, crab soup, shaken beef, spinaches garlic stir fried, and a bottle of sochu. Food was decent, and price was great. I would come again if look for a place to chill with some good price food.

Best Roast Chicken you will ever eat def recommend this dish if you come here. I great place to go with friends for good food and drinks

The food here is really good. We got a couple of salads, betel leaf beef, salted grilled shrimp, chicken wings, Chinese broccoli, & Chinese sausage fried rice. The one thing that was horrible here was that they told us they don't serve water cups and only served bottled water. We ordered a couple of water bottles with hot tea. As we were in the middle of our meal, we saw them serving the next 2 tables with iced water cups. We asked them about it and they gave us all sort of excuses from CA rules limiting restaurants from serving water to 'we are charging them for the water too, $0.50 per cup'. We don't mind paying for water but to be told we only have bottled and then turn around and they are able to serve everyone else. I'd come back for the food but definitely not because of the service.

There wasn't a wait when we got there. Most people were sitting outside in the patio. We decided to sit outside too bc the weather was really nice. The place was spacious but the inside was warmer. Food was pretty decent. Most dishes came out pretty fast. The grill chicken did took a long time bc they literally had to grill it. I like the squid stir fry with fish sauce because the dipping sauce was really good and squid was flavorful vs the steamed squid I didn't really care for it. The dish I was most surprised is the de La lot (goat wrap in lolot leaves) I couldn't believe it was goat. I usually avoid goat bc I'm scared of the gamey-ness. You can't taste it at all! I would eat it again. Mien xao cua (crab seafood stir fry clear noodles) was really good. You can taste the crab in the noodles. The seasoning was just right too not too salty. All the food was good. Only thing I didn't like and was disappointed was our server at the very end of our meal. As Asian we fight for the bill. Place is cash only. My friend only had enough for the bill and asked I help her with the tip which was no problem. She had to leave early so the rest of us were still finishing up our food. Our server came out and gave us the receipt saying the bill has been paid but tip wasn't added. So we said ok. Normally on done we will leave the tip on the table for our server. Mind you we didn't finish eating. She was waiting around our table pretty much waiting for her tip for a good 15 mins. When we finally left the tip on the table she had the nerve to spread the money out on the table to see how much she got then took it and just walk away. Not even clearing the dishes that were done. Also the fact that she was not the only one serving our table. I find that absolutely rude bc I always tip no matter what bc I've been in the restaurant industry. Plus I tipped more than 20%. If I decide to come back I would take it to go. I will not be dining in here.

This Vietnamese restaurant specializes in seafood and it was not a bad experience overall.+/-: Location is close to Tastea, however due to the amount of shops, the parking lot can be a bit crowded depending on the time.+/-: Average pricing for the menu since it revolves mostly around seafood. So make sure you ask about market prices for the off season items because those can become pricey i.e. lobster.+: Food is pretty average, I especially enjoyed the grilled shrimps, but not extremely wow enough for me to think I have to come back right away. It's good for once in a while if I am in a mood for seafood or their seafood hotpot.+/-: Service was not bad, they are quick when you directly asked them if they are around, but it seems transaction is easier if you are able to speak Vietnamese.

Came here for a family dinner with about 9 of us. Ordered various things from soup, to snails, clams, chicken wings and more. The food was decent, but I've definitely had better. Once we got seated, our server was smiling and really trying to persuade us to order things we politely said no to. Once she realized we weren't going to budge about ordering extra items, she gave us an attitude the rest of the night. We had to keep flagging her down just for a cup of iced water which did not come until we asked a 4th time. She hurriedly pushed the bill towards us even though we were still finishing our food and while setting up the table next to us, she was being extra loud slamming things down and knocking the chairs around. Because of the service alone, I will not be coming back.

Sitting and waiting for 4 waitress chitchat like 20 minutes, ordered foods and waited again like 20 minutes, then I had to ask where the foods? They asked me who did I order with?Wtf wrong with this place?
