Tortas Y Jugos Jiquilpan

I didn't really care for the tortas, too much vegetables and not enough meat. Needed salt for taste. They didn't even look tasty.

I am so happy to have discovered this spot! I had a certificate on Restaurant.com to use, and that was how I first came across this restaurant. They had good reviews on Yelp so I asked if my friend wanted to come with me to try it for our weekly lunch catchup. She was sold by the fact that they have mangoneadas. Their store sign isn't up yet (but should be by next week) but I could tell from the food photos on the windows that this was the spot. The lady behind the counter, who was the cashier and was making the food herself, was super friendly. There were a couple of people in the store before us so we waited for her to finish making their orders before she took ours. However, once she starts making your order, the wait isn't long as the food comes out fast. The restaurant is very appropriately named because I can't speak highly enough about their tortas and their juices!The food is amazing - so delicious and fresh! We ordered the pollo torta, which was huge and so yummy. The shredded cooked carrots really makes the torta. I thought the $1 added for avocado was really worth it hehe, as the total was only $6.99. We also had the pork tostada, which was heaped up really high. I preferred the warm and toasty torta though to the tostada, which is served cold. Since my friend and I enjoy trying new things, we also ordered a duroloco. That was again huge so we couldn't finish it and had to take it home. Turns out that the special part of the dish is pig skin marinated in vinegar. It's not for the squeamish so try it if you are adventurous, but if not, you can always stick to the nachos and bionicos.Their drinks don't disappoint. My friend liked the mangoneada (the tamarind wrapped around the straw was the best part!) and I loved my orange and carrot juice. All the juice options on the menu make me super happy and I would definitely keep this place in mind for the summer for their mangoneadas.

The best, I drive from Bakersfield to eat here. I would love to have this in Bakersfield. I would recommend to everyone to come and try them.

Placed a phone order for a torta de pierna asked for them to add queso fresco to the torta once I got home guess what no queso fresco and the torta did not have any flavor so disappointed this was my first time and sadly I won't be returning .

Worst place ever!!! How does it have almost 5 stars?!! Your name is literally Tortas and jugo, torta cubana sucked, chicken torta lol I can make a better one at home! The quesadilla lmfao basically Costco chicken and mozzarella microwaved, wowwwwww

Food was great, but the service was excellent. Carla, even though she was the only one working at the time i was there.... As She was trying to make like 6 tortas, She can multitask and will not ignore you. This woman is so friendly. Sometimes it's the service that makes your food taste even better than it already is. Thank you for everything today carla!

The tortas (pierna) are just like the ones they sell in the little Pueblo Jiquilpan. Absolutely sensational little jewel of a place! I do recommend that you call them in advance to prepare them for you as they only have one person working at a time so it can take a little while to get your torta. Nevertheless, you will get quality as things that take time typically are better.

If you are looking for authentic tortas, the place is here, I don't really think you will find something as good as in this place, the owner is very attentive and is always kind to her customers, also the place is always very clean.It doesn't matter that how time I need drive but this tortas are really a delicious Si estás buscando tortas auténticas, el lugar está aquí, realmente no creo que encuentres algo tan bueno como en este lugar, la propietaria es muy atenta y siempre es amable con sus clientes, también el lugar siempre está muy limpio.No importa el tiempo que necesite conducir, pero estas tortas son realmente deliciosas
