Torrance Tavern

Met up with my old friends here over the weekend. First time here, as I moved out of the area a long time ago. Lets start with the service. All the workers were really nice, and pretty funny. Made the evening much better. The ambiance here is casual, and really chill. Gives a small mom and pops shop kind of vibe. The food was great. We had nachos, steak salad, burgers, wings, and a bunch of other stuff. Everything was really good. Much better than expected. As for the drinks. The bartender who was pouring my whiskey had a heavy hand. Not complaining. I don't know if it was just one person or a few but each time I ordered a double, it was way more than a double. For all that we ordered and drank, the price was more than reasonable. Will be coming back here for sure. Great place to have a bite and drink.

Amazing food and service. Five stars all the way! We were looking for a place late Christmas Eve ( ya took me a while to write this!!) and remembered you were in this strip mall. Driving into the parking lot and finding the restaurant, it looked like you were closed.The parking lot was so dark, and your restaurant had no lighting on the outside...we started to turn away, but.......there in the little window was an OPEN sign..all right now we were happy cause we were hungry and thirsty! (Please, come at night, you will see what I mean! )What made the night even better was the service! #1 Angie is just a star !! Loving what she does, making us feel at home, explaining the menu, checking back with us, suggesting menu and drink items, and not afraid of striking up a conversation with us---we felt so welcome and taken care of! Bravo!!!Two: OMG the bartender - another welcome addition to your team! We had a nice conversation with him too, so nice ! I had THE BEST MEXICAN COFFEE EVER!! Coffee drinks are notorious for lukewarm stale coffee...NOT HERE!! Hot delicious and yum! So good! The atmosphere was fun with games on and music..not too loud, we could talk easily...comfortable booths were nice and raised so you could look around and see the "action" The front entry area was nice but felt empty. Perhaps, you could add game tables/pool in that spot? Needs something...Ok, great job...there are a lot of places in the area and I am happy we found ours!

Service is great, food is ok, not a big fan of the burgers. I wish the burgers were grilled but they taste like they are boiled.We love to stick to the wings and beer!Game days are great to watch here

My boyfriend and I visited Torrance Tavern this past Friday to watch the Dodger game. While it was extremely busy, our servers kept checking on us which we appreciated :) Here is what we ordered:Onion rings- I freaking loved these onion rings. They were really crispy and the onion did not slew off the breading Tavern salad with shrimp- This salad was plated so nicely and it was yummy, but it just tasted like a regular ol' salad. There wasn't a wow factor even though I added shrimp Wings- Now these? These wings were immaculate. The right amount of crispness and crunch. They were nicely tossed and the flavor was amazing. 10/10Nachos- These nachos had a lot of toppings which is a plus! The meat was tender and flavorful Overall, I would definitely be back! There are plenty of parking spaces even though it is shared with several other businesses

The food was incredible--Chelsea had all kinds of recommendations & was bang on with them !!! I will definitely be back for more buffalo chicken mac n cheese!!!!! She provided such an incredible service even on game 2 of World Series!!! Chelsea had some great drink recommendations as well -- I loved my Bloody Mary! The vibe in this place is so fun, glad to have checked this place out & will be back!!!! Especially if the waitresses / waiters are as attentive as she is!! 10/10!

Came here for some late night drinks with friends. They had a great late happy hour deal although I didn't see the check so unsure if we got the deal. I ordered the seasonal pumpkin spice espresso martini and it was good. Definitely had the right flavor and was pretty strong. I also got the Parmesan fries, they were yummy but were very greasy from the cheese and had quite a bit of Parmesan. The serviceWas alright, a bit slow and they forgot two drinks at the end. But cool joint!

My friend and I stopped by around 9 pm after an art show at the Torrance Art Museum. We had no expectations and were hungry. This place surprised us!! The food was absolutely delicious. I had a beer- Modelo was on draft and went down easy. We ordered him as a sweat potato fries and then a cheesesteak. I am from Philly and this was an amazing ing cheesesteak. Now I know to go for a great fix when I am missing home. The staff were great and attentive. The place has at least a half dozen TVs with all kinds of sports and other things going. The music is going and the noise level is perfect where you can have a great time and a good conversation. I am definitely going back for the cheesesteak- amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Parking is in a commercial strip mall you shouldn't have a hard time finding anything. Service is always on point I usually sit at the bar but when I don't I receive the same service as if I were sitting at the bar. We usually order wings and a steak salad and a burger and we share that and let me tell you it's absolutely amazing I have never had a problem with there food or service or even drinks this is a good place to enjoy the games and enjoy good food

Good spot for some beer and sports. Great spot for a Philly Cheesesteak (w/ double meat). The staff was incredibly nice and attentive. The vibes a decor were nothing short of expected.

Went yesterday around 3 o'clock in the afternoon had a great experience. The staff was very pleasant and they acknowledge me when I walked in. The service was very friendly and attentive even though the bar was busy. Both bartenders were working very hard and helping each other out with not only the people seated at the bar but the patrons seated at the tables.Thank you.
