Loved this rooftop restaurant! The inside is more upscale and the outside is more lounge vibes. We sat outside with a view of the sunset. Our waitress, Genesis, was very nice and the service overall was great. The food was delicious! Everything came out in a timely manner, we didn't feel rushed or crowded with plates. We had the mixed baby green salads and shrimp al ajillo to start, both were inspiring. Simple ingredients but full of flavor. We definitely want to try making more dishes like this at home. Then we had the seasonal harvest bomba rice and beef striploin with chimichurri. We enjoyed everything, but felt some dishes could use a tad more salt.

Top of The V is hands down one of the best rooftop dining spots I've been to. Sitting on the top floor of The Viv Hotel, it offers incredible views of Anaheim, and Disneyland feels right there--not off in the distance, but close enough that you can clearly see the fireworks and lights from the park. It adds this amazing energy to the experience, like you're part of the magic without actually being inside the park.I sat at the bar inside, and it was the perfect spot--great atmosphere, stylish but comfortable, with bartenders who really know what they're doing. As a margarita connoisseur, I had to try their take on it, and it did not disappoint. Their specialty cocktails were all top-notch, but the margaritas, in particular, were perfectly balanced--fresh, flavorful, and with just the right amount of kick. Plus, the pours here are generous, which is always a win.For dinner, I went with the rack of lamb, cooked medium, and it was perfect. Super tender, seasoned just right, and so good that I actually had to talk myself out of ordering another one to bring down to my room. Their menu leans into Spanish flavors, and from what I saw coming out of the kitchen, everything looked incredible. After dinner, I took my drink outside to one of the fire tables, which was the perfect way to wrap up the night. The warm glow of the fire, the city lights, and Disneyland right there in front of you--it's just an unbeatable setting. Top of The V isn't just a great restaurant; it's an experience. If you're in Anaheim, don't miss it.

Wow what a beautiful restaurant located on the 12th floor of the modern Viv Hotel overlooking the view of Anaheim, particularly Disneyland. Fireworks for Disney are typically 9:30pm, as a heads up. Parking garage is validated by the front desk of the hotel, so make sure you get that before leaving! Came here for my birthday and boy did the overall experience not disappoint. It's a good mix of a classy, casual, hip place to enjoy the view and food. All the food on the menu sounded amazing, and reasonably priced. Land and Sea Rice paella was very tasty, not salty as you'd typically get at other places. I'd wish they give a bigger portion, I'd eat it all! The waitress recommended the shrimps and octopus, and she was right they were great ! 10/10 on everything! Drinks were well crafted without it overly strong or sweet. Definitely recommend to come here whether it's a special occasion, business meeting, or simply if you like great quality food and service at a beautiful restaurant ! It's located inside a beautiful clean somewhat Disney-themed hotel as well.

We visited Top of The V on our anniversary, and I think we made the right choice! We had an appointment at 5 p.m. on Saturday, but when we arrived at the restaurant, it wasn't open yet. We waited about 5 minutes, and then we were seated. Since we were the first group, they allowed us to pick our preferred seating, which was right next to the window with a view of downtown Anaheim and Disneyland Park.Top of The V is located on the 12th floor of The VIV Hotel Anaheim. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The classic yet modern interior was elegant and chic. The high ceiling and large windows with beautiful views of Anaheim and the sunset sky were absolutely enchanting. The food was fantastic! The Pan Cristal Bread ($14) was very special and great! The Mixed Baby Green Salad ($16) was refreshing and delicious. The Shrimp Al Ajillo Gambas ($19) was excellent. The Charred Octopus ($23) was flavorful and tender. The European Sea Bass ($55) was amazing--so tender and tasty, served with brown butter, macron almonds, and preserved lemon. I highly recommend this dish! The Iberian Pork Chop ($48), however, was a bit dry and less delightful. The cheese case for dessert provided the perfect, happy ending to this wonderful meal! The service was impeccable! Our server was professional and attentive. The view was breathtaking, especially with the fireworks from Disneyland visible right in front of us. Compared to the hustle and bustle of downtown LA, Anaheim is a great choice for a gorgeous-view restaurant like Top of The V, perfect for celebrating special days and events. We will definitely recommend Top of The V to our friends!

Located in the heart of Anaheim, this hidden gem rooftop restaurant offers a breathtaking westward view, perfect for catching the sunset when the weather permits. It also boasts a stunning outlook over Disneyland, GardenWalk, and Angel Stadium, providing a chance to enjoy a firework-filled dining experience. We chose to celebrate our anniversary at Top of The V, and here's a look at the dishes we tried, many of which were recommended by our wonderful server, Genesis:Charred Octopus: Excellent! The octopus chunks were perfectly charred and complemented by a delicious sweet potato sauce.Shrimp Al Ajillo Gambas: Tasty! The garlic sauce paired wonderfully with the succulent shrimp.Pan Cristal: A standout dish! This house-made Spanish bread is a must-try, perfect on its own or with tomato sauce. You can also dip it in the sauces from the Octopus and Gambas dishes or enjoy it with honey butter.Mixed Baby Green Salad: Fantastic! The fresh, thinly sliced greens were perfect for soaking up the refreshing dressings, making this salad a delightful start.Pork Chop: This dish was just okay. The thinly sliced pork had a slightly sweet flavor, but I expected a more traditional, heartier chop. I ordered it medium, as I didn't want it too raw, but I recommend requesting it medium-rare for a better result.Sea Bass: Exceptional! The whole fish was deboned (without the head) and seasoned beautifully. Its crispy skin and buttery flavor made it a standout dish.N/A Fuego Mango: Great for non-alcoholic drinkers! It tasted like a mango-flavored margarita--refreshing and enjoyable.Diora Pinot Noir GL: A solid choice, though pairing it with the Sea Bass wasn't ideal. A white wine might have complemented the fish better.Cheesecake: Incredible! The cheesecake had a smooth, fluffy texture and was paired with a surprising touch--thin layers of olive oil on the side. It added a savory note that elevated the dessert. It was also a lovely complimentary treat for our anniversary. Our server, Genesis, and the entire restaurant staff were warm and attentive, offering great recommendations. Even though the weather wasn't ideal during our visit, the restaurant's open-air space provided a fantastic view of Anaheim. We're definitely looking forward to returning for more delicious food and scenic views.P.S. The outdoor bar area, complete with fire pits, offers an even more elevated experience for those who want to enjoy the view in a relaxed atmosphere.

Beautiful place, comfortable seating, friendly staff, and fabulous food! We had cheese plate, which was lovely mixed of sweet, salty, nutty, creamy and savory. The cheese had a velvety deep rich flavor profile. The garlic shrimp was thouroughly coated in a rich decadent butter sauce with slivers of garlic. The texture of the garlic and shrimp were simply beautiful, shrimp was slightly firm and cooked to perfection. The ribeye was exquisite! The meat was so incredibly tender that you could cut it with the side of the fork. The steak was expertly charred on the outside, pretty pink center and finished with a light sprinkle of salt. The whole meal was divine! We will be back.

I've had this rooftop and restaurant bookmarked for a while, and last night I finally got the chance to visit. Located on the 12th floor of The Viv Hotel, it more than lived up to the hype. While the tables were fully booked, we were able to grab seats at the bar, which turned out to be a great spot. The ambiance was fantastic--stylish decor, a lively yet relaxed vibe, and excellent service from the staff. The city lights and a stunning view of Disney made the experience even more special. We started with the Octopus appetizer, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. For the main course, we shared the Seafood Paella, the restaurant's most popular dish, and it didn't disappoint. I appreciated how light and balanced it was--not overly heavy on the rice. We chatted with another couple at the bar who highly recommended the seabass, so that's on my list for next time.I'll definitely be back to try more dishes and, hopefully, score a table with one of those breathtaking views!

Visited again, this time with a reservation by the window to view the Disneyland fireworks. Still great service and strong cocktails. Loved the seasonal squash with the steak. Reservations for window seating are a non-refundable $10 but you are secured a great view and your table for up to two hours. Note the fireworks are usually around 9:30pm so plan accordingly.

The view, service, and ambiance were all fantastic! However, I wasn't a big fan of the limited menu, which led to a 1-star deduction. I'd definitely come back for drinks and appetizers, but probably not for dinner. The grilled octopus was absolutely delicious, and the 20oz ribeye was also great. I asked for A1 sauce, but while they didn't have it, they brought chimichurri sauce, which turned out to be a tasty alternative. Would recommend for a casual stop, but not for a full meal.

I really like this hotel and the location and the view, very beautiful, easy to access, easy parking structure entry. The rooftop has a gorgeous sunset hour, I definitely recommend going when you can see that. It is a wonderful date spot, or small group gathering spot. Didn't have the vibe like the Rise at Westin, no DJ, no live music. Great for views, talking, having dinner. Speaking of, the food was awesome - we had a couple of appetizers (the patatas bravas and the jamon croquettes), a cheese plate and the land and sea main meal. All of it was just delicious. Our server was so nice and she was able to recommend cocktails and food based on what we liked She came around often and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Would have loved a house wine instead of having to pick from the pricier menu options.
