Tom's Burgers

Now I'm a westsider, Long Beach that is and Tom's is one of those staples for us back in days especially their "YAKI"(teriyaki) plates and bowls, but as we got older I'm not gonna lie... trash! But I don't know if they have new owners or the next generation took over but let me tell you!!!!!!! We're back on the map folks Same flavor, but they understood the assignment.. yes! I ordered the combo yaki plate (beef & chicken) w/ grilled onions and side salad and there was an abundance of food for me, the salad was in a separate box. Now I know why for a few months I've passed by and they're always busy, especially lunch time.Good job Tom's

Tom's Burger is a childhood staple. I grew up on Cameron St., (rt around the corner) and am biased for the soft serve ice cream cones, pineapple& strawberry sundae's I lovingly grew up on. I also loved their slushies, string fries & chicken teriyaki bowls (which came much later in my adult years). I'm glad that new owners have kept the same name & updated the menu. Staff is usually very courteous, yet they get busy @ times, so I would highly recommend you call in your order for pickup. When I'm in LBC, one of my 1st stops is @ Tom's and/or Fantastic Burgers (just across the street); and if you've got a sweet tooth, Angel Food Donuts (best donuts on the Westside!) is just next door!! Love me some Long Beach Diners!

I enjoy the food and it's taste really good. But I hate ordering from here because of the entiltle cashiers they hire. Always feels like your a bother to them. This feeling sucks especially when the food is really good. But I guess I will have to part ways from this business. Since they always fail on the customer service side. Okay snkiisjki

Had the family in from Mississippi Tasha had a ham and cheese the toast was buttered oh just right. I'm just glad I didn't take a big bite cause I could've eaten it all Biggie on his mission to eat every burger in Los Angeles county got the jr.cheese plain with cheese and ketchup I got a teriyaki bowl with onions now my family doesn't do onions on anything but we tore into this thing onions and all . Oh the customer service was on point

Strawberry milkshake + western bacon cheeseburger = classic combo. The burger was tasty and the bacon/onion rings were crispy. I loved the milkshake and finished it before the burger came out. We also had the fish burger and zucchini fries and they did not skimp out on the fish! Portions here are generous and the food is made fresh to order. Can't wait to come back and try more items on he menu! Service was quick and you can also call ahead to order.

Everything went well with them. I absolutely love there food I come all the way down from the valley to come get some of there world's famous teriyaki chicken plate. I also highly recommend you guys to try that.

Been Eating their food - primarily regular cheeseburger with onion, fries, and shake or soda - for some 50 years by way of the various owners, over the years - who had to be trained to prepare burgers just the way I prefer them. And yes, I've always eaten burgers of all the rest of the fast food places as well as indoor restaurants. Needless to say, I like burgers so when I get down and dirty, I go to Tom's.

I have been enjoying the chicken salads from Tom's burgers for years but I think they might be a change in ownership because the salads are not like they use to be. The ingredients that are in the salad no longer have presentation, like they used to. And they cut down on the amount of dressing that they would give with the salad. I'm not sure what happened to the egg...
