One of the worst places to eat. The old lady, which is probably the owner, is one of the rudest person I've ever met. She yells at her employees and customers. The food is tiny portions too.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me thrice, I'm gonna yelp you. I've tried this place three times for a to-go dinner and the food was....blech = not good. I was on my way home after a long day at work and needed something quick for dinner. When I walked in and looked at the selection, I was already turned off. The food looked dried up like it had been sitting there all day. Even the steamed white rice was dry. Steamed rice! Come on. The braised green beans were okay, but the wilted leftover beans that they poured over the "fresher" ones were not a nice touch. I was hungry, and I couldn't even really keep eating my combo meal. The chicken curry was just...eh. The tofu was too spicy for my liking, and I didn't like the texture of the tofu that they used. I would have rather eaten some Panda Express, and I have been boycotting Panda since I ate it so much of it in college, and they hardly give you any meat. So sad. Pros: The owners seem nice. They give you a lot of food for a good price. A 2-item combo w/ chow mein and rice costs around $5.60. A 3-item combo was $6.75. Should I somehow forget about this experience in the not-so-near future, maybe I will summon up the courage to give them another chance for lunch. Maybe the food will be fresher during that time. For now, I need to purge my system of this wrongdoing and eat some REALLY good food so that I could put this experience behind me.

The people are nice but the food is terrible. The two times I ate there I chewed the meat for days before I could swallow it. The rice was greasy and the chow mein was flavorless. I'd rather spend more money at Pick Up Stix.

Good Chinese fast food. I wish there were 3.5 stars... The 4 stars is a little generous, but considering that all the other Chinese fast food places within a 4 mile radius are pretty damn bad, this place gets 4 stars. The food isn't "authentic" but it's cheap and it's 10x better than Panda Express. The orange chicken actually has chicken in it and the curry has real curry powder.

I've been craving Asian cuisine. And Tokyo Wok serves by far the freshest, yummiest, and quickest Japanese and Chinese food I have ever had in this neighborhood! It has been a joyful surprise to rediscover this restaurant after new management seems to have taken it over in spring of 2008. The menu has been completely revamped. You can taste the improvement in the quality of the food. Everything I've eaten at the restaurant in the past few months has been extremely high-quality and so yummy. The absolute freshness of the food pleasantly surprises me again and again.I absolutely love the sushi! It is so fresh! Once you place an order for a maki sushi, the sushi chef makes it for you personally on the spot! Each roll bursts with tantalizing flavors. I recommend the Rainbow roll, the Washington roll, and the Dragon roll.My friends and I always order either the milk tea with boba, the mango slush, or the green apple slush with every sushi order. They are refreshing, sweet, and light drinks that accompany the sushi well. They are sort of like a healthy dessert. The Chinese food is really fresh, too. The Orange Chicken is made using real citrus fruits. The barbecued chicken and pork are seasoned well. And, if you appreciate spicy, the Kung Pao Chicken and the Green Beans with Pork have yummy kicks to them. The egg rolls are really good because they are individually handmade. Everything is extremely fresh and absolutely deelish. . . And it is still a great place to grab food to go, too. I haven't used them for catering, yet, but I noticed the restaurant now offers catering for parties, too, which is useful knowledge for hosting guests at my place for dinner at an affordable price!
