My sister loves coming here for their mechado, which is one of their specialties so we stopped in.It's turo turo, but they serve breakfast all day and they make that to order. We got mechado, adobo, pinakbet, sweet and sour fish, kare kare, and lumpia to share. The mechado was delicious! Really flavorful and the tastiest out of all the dishes we got. I did like the adobo but it lacked flavor without the sauce. Everything else was just okay. Could be better. For the price, you get quite a lot of rice. I wish they gave bigger scoops of meat though.Overall, it's not a bad option. I'd probably come back to try the silog.Parking is easy. Tons of spots but it was an hour until close and they weren't busy.

Karioka is an underrrated Filipino dessert made of glutinous rice and beans with organic sweets and crunchy roll. The insides explodes in your mouth with sweet crunchy beans that practically melts with every bite.Another uniquely Filipino dessert is their "bilo-bilo" another glutinous rice made organic food cooked with coconut milk and enhanced with other fruits like bananas, jackfruit, gelatin, and other root-based taproots like yams and many others. The restaurant also serves a variety of dishes from breakfast, lunch and dinner; adobo, paksiw na Bangus, chocolate meat and many other excellent comfort food.Tita Celia's which is a Filipino affectation for Aunt Celia is a small corner restaurant located on Carson Street in Torrance, California. If you're in Torrance, Tita Celia's heaven on earth is better tasted than inadequately described on this review. If you ever get a chance to drop by this nook, am sure you'll go back there, again and again. Enjoy! Dr. Conrad

Tita Celia's... still a staple in the community and continues to stand the test of time, proving why it has remained a favorite for so many years. My little one's favorite, beef mechado and halo-halo to cap it all up!

I asked the lady from the cashier that I would like to order a dessert and paid for it and she said will give it to me after. I've waited for few minutes still wasn't deliver to our table then came back to her again and said yeah it's coming . After minutes then I went back to cashier and ask again and she said nothing then guy working with her what's the problem and I told him about. And this guy kept asking what would I like . I'm very disappointed and is not even busy. My first time to come to this store coz my friend recommended it. Customer service very poor and not even acknowledge the guest. I will never come back to this establishment. This is not a typical Filipino restaurant experience usually very accommodating and friendly.

Definitely one of the more comforting Filipino food spots nearby. They have a great selection of food and my family loves their kareoka!
