Rude bartender & I'm 100% sure me and my friend got Roofied !So first I'll start my saying that I came to the Stave twice before and drinks were great and had a good experience.But last weekend the male bartender with glasses and a face tattoo had an issue with my MAGA hat. Refused to help us and asked someone else to serve us.He kept hovering around mean mugging and making comments We Uber home and both wake up not even remembering the ride.Mind you we both only had 2 drinks that night prior to walking in there

The bar is nice. We did a bar crawl that this bar was part of on new years and we got a new years shot from them. The drinks were strong but not too overpowering. There were a few bartenders around so we didn't wait long before we got served. A good amount of seating too, some outside and a lot inside. If you are in the area highly recommend

I love the Stave, it's like your elevated neighborhood bar that offers a wide variety of whiskey and scotch. With an integrated indoor/outdoor concept you really feel apart of the city. Bartenders are very friendly and not to mention they make the best Sidecar in downtown LB.

I've never had the food in here and I am laughing because someone asked if we can bring food because I like to eat and leave honest reviews. I tried to take a bite of the fried chicken and it was gross. But it was free. I only love where I know the faces. I know ALOT of people do be cool. They finally funded the construction on the block as well. The Poke Sushi Spot is amazing! I love smoking cigars here as well. Thanks for the food pop up trucks too!

Update: Revisited the Stave. holiday drink menu, great selection of drinks. Their old fashioneds are made well. Good music selection. Good vibes . Outdoor seating with fire pit. I'm liking this place more than when I first tried it. Worth frequenting more often they have merch too. As far as food is concerned, they have a partnership with Michael's Pizzeria and Poke Pub for food on their menus. Great Downtown location. Their is multi level parking structure nearby.

Looking for a late night "nite cap", we found The Stave Bar on the Long Beach Promenade. It is a large place with a nice patio space, as well. They specialize in whiskey craft cocktails....but can make most any drink you prefer. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. There are lots of windows and a beautiful wood bar and backbar. It's has a very nice atmosphere. If you are visiting downtown, this is an excellent choice for a delicious beverage.

This bartender was super rude to us the whole time! The bar closed at 2am and HE was incredibly rude to us from the moment we walked in......waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before the bar was closed...over an hour before closing......if he owned this bar, yikes . If he works here..........extra yikes.

My husband and I needed a spot to celebrate our civil wedding reception (nothing too big or fancy, w a bunch of 20 something year olds) and we had planned it to be on St. Patrick's day so finding a place that would work with us was difficult but Natalie was OUTSTANDING with any type of communication, assistance, and hospitality for me and my wedding party. She cleared off a section for my party of 30-40 and assisted us in picking and preordering some delicious pizzas for my guests and let us decorate. That night ended up amazing. The bartenders were all outstanding, the pizza was sooo good and I was just so delighted Natalie worked with us with so much compassion and interest. She really helped me make it a special and memorable day to celebrate with my friends and family. My guests all had an amazing time and easy to say we will definitely be back to this beautiful and fun bar!

Solid whiskey and cocktail bar. I really like coming here at night and sitting outside by their tabletop fire thing. Nice ambiance and good drinks for not super overpriced like a lot of other places and bars. They don't have a ton of specialty drinks - menanfn there aren't things here you won't find somewhere else. BUT, the drinks are all good and classics and when are classics ever a bad thing?! Plus the drinks are stroooong and definitely alcohol forward, which I love! Bartenders are always chill and super nice. Always a go-to spot for me and my friends, especially if we're in the mood for whiskey. Thanks for always being such a great option Stave!

We had a group on Santacon which the bar didn't even know that they were part of which is understandable but Sue the bartender was rude, annoying and condescending which was completely unnecessary. I received drinks from other bartenders that patiently acknowledged that they were not informed of the bar crawl but didn't seem necessary to be rude.
