This place knows how to start the week off right. And while the beer selection is top-tier, it's the people behind the stick who really make the magic happen. JP is always a rockstar, but Anessa? She's an entire vibe. Quick with a pour, playful with the banter, and always making sure your glass stays full and your mood stays lifted.Pro tip: Don't sleep on the Street Cucumbers. Refreshing, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick. Trust me, you'll be ordering a second round before you're halfway through the first.If it weren't so "far" (I'm in Redondo, lol), I'd practically be a regular. But honestly, The Slip is worth the drive every single time. Good beer, great bites, unbeatable vibes. What more can you ask for?

Finally tried the Taco Tuesday Special! 3 soft shell tacos (carnitas, asada, ground beef)$6, and $5 Beer (Modelo) oh, and wings. Delish!

It was very crowded here, but we were able to get a small table. They seemed to be short staffed, but the service wasn't too bad. There are a lot of TVs in the place, I think a lot of people were there to watch the football game. To drink I got an unsweetened iced tea to drink. I'm not sure if they pre-squeezed the lemon in it, but it had a very acidic taste. To eat I ordered the grilled cheese with a turkey patty. The turkey patty was moist, but not very flavorful. The grilled cheese itself wasn't too bad though. I also ordered fries with my grilled cheese, but they gave me a side salad. I just ended up having some of my Dad's and Uncle's fries. The fries were alright, pretty crispy. Overall the food was just ok.

Summary: This place is HOPPING on Fridays before 5pm. Parking can be tricky, so plan accordingly. Solid list of beers and the happy hour specials are a good value. Staff seem friendly and hard-working during peak hours, but will require flagging them down (or patience) if you need something during prime time. Seating is available inside or out in an enclosed patio. TVs playing sports and lots of energetic patrons. The Slip Burger with an Impossible patty and fries is quite tasty. I look forward to returning.

If you want a laid back family friendly bar/restaurant The Slip is a good option. It's good for happy hour, quick bites. It's affordable with good vibes. Friendly staff. Nice patio area. I typically get a burger and fries. Can't go wrong with other menu items either. Portion sizes are generous.

Was looking for a new burger experience nearby and came across Slip Bar and they didn't disappoint! The inside was lively and pretty full for Friday night and the bartender and staff were super friendly and helpful. Hey chicken was pretty decent, and the Slip Burger and Ruby burger were quite good - the Ruby my fav of the bunch. The fries were ok, but I liked the salad and house dressing - might go for the onion rings next time...

While the food was good, it wasn't up to par for the price. Bacon blue burger was good (not great) as was the smash burger, but they were small and not worth the $13 & $10 price tags. (The burgers do not come with anything on the side - just the burgers.)The fries were basic thin, frozen ones and the onion rings were just ok. Bummed, bc we had higher hopes of going there regularly. Oh well. (Note: we took it to go)

Best Espresso Martini by Alex. You Rock. Highly recommended. Food & Service was amazing.
