The beer is ice cold and the bartenders are hotter than Chickie Tendies! Everyone is nice and junk. I saw the Smoking Popes play the small room one time. Milo and Blag (different nights) sang karaoke too. Full disclosure, I totally know the owners :/

Strong drinks, awesome atmosphere, great bartender. A little disappointed that the Photo Booth wasn't working because we wanted a souvenir to remember this little gem by. Can't wait to come back, especially to see a show.

Chill place and it's huge! Good bands and the drinks are reasonable. Strong and good. Bartenders are super friendly and not rude at all. Good spot to hang out!

Came here for the first time to see Monsters on Vacation, an awesome surf band. My gin & tonic was very well served, $10, by a super nice young lady. It's kind of a dive feel, but that's really what I like about it. It feels real, not snotty, pretentious, or uncomfortable. It's a pretty small venue, so seeing Subhumans here soon should be interesting. Sound was good. Best is, since I came early, I was able to get one of the few seats. My only bummer is that there was a light that for some reason was directed toward the audience, and right to my face. LOL. Guess that's the price I pay for a seat in my (ack) old age.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: The coolest place with no AC.The hubby and I came here to see the legendary Subhumans back in July of '22 and it was a blast! It was our first time but we'd been meaning to come for a while, with all the good buzz. It's a long, narrow space, with a little bar/record shop area when you first walk in, then the stage area, and then the patio, which was a godsend on a warm summer night. They have a smaller bar in the patio, where I think they just had beers. We picked up a couple to enjoy while waiting for the show to start. While we were stoked to see the Subhumans, we are also fans of Generacion Suicida, so it was great to see them in a tiny venue too. Things started to get kind of warm in there with the openers, but when the headliner came on, it just turned into a straight up sauna, so be prepared. That said, we had so much fun seeing such great bands up close and personal that we hardly minded all the dripping sweat and whatnot flying around (we had our masks on, lol). Nice staff, reasonable prices, great vibe--lots to recommend.

I refer to The Sardine as my "living room". It's a dream come true to live by a killer (punk rock) little venue like this! They just expanded into the space next door, so now there are two stages. The Recess Romp was a blast, and I hope more touring bands swing through Pedro. It gets a little toasty, so don't wear too many clothes. All hail Todd! Thanks for being so rad and gifting this community such a treasure.

This place is an amazing music venue with an extremely friendly staff . If you're into Punk Music this venue is a local hub of wonderful. Even has a little record store. It brings me back to old times when things were less pretentious. Some of the bands we've gotten the chance to see there are bucket list old school acts and I had the best of times. Also, I love that there is out door seating, which is a blessing when the show gets hot inside.inexpensive beer prices, and the stage area is closed off from the front bar so if you want to have a chat or take a moment you can. It's very well thought out and having been there many times, I have never had a bad time. Also, when the food truck is in the back, OMG. The food is beyond amazing.

This place is TINY, specifically the venue and space in front of the stage (hence, the name of the spot). However, despite that, the bar was cool and mostly had beer and wine. The staff was nice and took care of my bf and I when we ordered very quickly! We had a good time watching Tim Kasher in January 2023 and I'd probably go back again! The space is intimate, drinks were decent, and crowd was (mostly) cool.

One Bartender Ryan short pores in such a bad way. He is unfriendly and strange. The music is potentially great, but he ruined it! It wasn't the first time. He's not a happy person. Why can't we find out own peace
