This spot will address your desire for Mexican food. I enjoyed my machaca burrito (pictured). It was HUGE and filled with all the goodies you would expect. This is a great family-owned restaurant that serves delicious food and provides exceptional service, along with a large parking lot! I enjoyed the atmosphere that has 2nd and 3rd generation family members working there! Expect a good chip basket and house salsa. Their domestic beer price is also very reasonable. #BIEN

Terrible phone etiquette. Called to place and order and I wanted to confirm my order and she responded as if I was dumb for doing so. Few reasons why I CONFIRMED my order. 1. I was giving them another chance after they got my order wrong the first time. 2. Lady had a thick accent so when she told me what the burrito had I wanted to confirm it had egg because she didn't mention it when I asked what it had 3. I am paying costumer I can ask what my $15 burrito has in it I came in and asked if she was the owner because I just can't believe that customers are treated this way. I love supporting mom and pops specially Latino/a businesses as I'm Latina myself but rest assured I will be taking my business to a more appreciating owner.

If your under the weather, thier chicken soup is a must!!! We always try and get it once when we are sick. A large will last 2-3 meals. Call ahead for fast pick up. If your not sick try the Boxito Burrito. The black salsa is so good and pays amage to the late founder/owner. Plenty of seating when we have gone. Alfredos has been a staple in Lomita since I was a kid. Give them a try.

Met lifelong friends for lunch after church. I've always enjoyed eating at Alfredo's. I enjoy their food, and their service has always done well. I will definitely continue coming when I come back "home" to So. Cal on visits.

For starters I have come to this place often and the service and food always very good..Today I came and ordered a fiesta platter my son had two hard shell ground beef tacos and my daughter had the Carne asada fries ... The Tacos were not good the beef was not seasoned the shell was not deep fried shell it was the ones you buy in a box at the store the juice from the meat wasn't drained and when I pick the taco up everything fell out because it had sat in juice and made shell soggy ..the fiesta platter was ok I asked my daughter about the Carne asada fries and she said it was probably 15 fries that was topped with beans and cheese very little carne asada and not seasoned well ... This is really disappointing to us as we love Mexican food but don't think we will be returning

Alfredo's has become a regular for Mexican food. They greet you with a "Welcome Back" as you walk in. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and the food is excellent. Choose anything on the menu and you'll be pleased. See previous reviews.

My impression of Alfredo's is different than what it was 30-40 years ago. My recollection from many years ago is that the menu was different, with more Yucatan inspired dishes, colorful presentations, and many items I couldn't order at other Mexican restaurants. There are some Yucatan-inspired items today, but most of the menu seems to be the same as those found at other Mexican restaurants. One of their special items is a Burrito Boxito, a pork burrito with a dark mole style sauce. I'll make a general observation in the way of a comparison - beans usually come in red or black varieties, and if you like black beans you'll probably like this burrito. I was here once with someone else who didn't care about this item; they admitted they didn't like dark sauces, but I liked them. The Enchiladas Puebla also had the dark mole on top of the chicken enchiladas. I think that the addition of the rice and beans on the side made this a more pleasurable meal than the Burrito Boxito.Another specialty is the Cochinita Pibil, a slow roasted pork, marinated in a citric juice, onions, beans, and rice, with tortillas on the side. I found the pork on the dry side, which was acceptable at first but became a little more of a chewing exercise as I continued with the dish. The Sopes are simple but colorful and good. Most of the menu has the typical fare of a Mexican restaurant. I found that most of the items fell into an average category. However, that being said, my most recent recents were more of return to what I fondly remember from decades past. The restaurant is getting on the old side, but it's clean, service has always been attentive and friendly, and there's lots of parking in the back.

Alfredo's is such a lomita staple! Great food, great service & if you go there often, you'll get to know Maria, the owner and her amazing staff! The servers and bus guys are always very friendly and helpful and make you feel right at home! Some of my favorite dishes are their carnitas, pozole or chile verde. Their chips and salsa are addictive and they give you pretty large portions! They can also accommodate large parties.

I was there twice in two weeks and both times the food and margaritas were delicious. The service was great and everyone who worked there was friendly and hard working. I hadn't found any Mexican food place that I was happy with in recent years until I came here. I will return many times.
