Went here on Saturday night. From the outside, the store front is kind of unassuming. There is a big sign over the store. The interior is retro and kind of funky but clean. Staff is very nice. I think we met the owner who was very sweet. We ordered a few things. Ceviche, empanadas, asparagus, and charchuterie board. All were fantastic. All had some unique version of the dish, but all were excellent.We also had hot tea and I'm not a real tea drinker but this tea was great. Overall, I would return. On top of this being able to support a small business who does things right is deserving of everyone's business.

Heard about this place online, while scrolling online for new restaurants in the South Bay.Neon Sun was listed and had a unique menu that I knew I had to try, and looking at their Instagram Account, the Cucumber Carpaccio was the menu item that drew me in. A Boho - Artsy Vibe space with a very chill atmosphere. A nice place to relax with a drink and sample some great bites. Excellent and friendly service too.Once I was handed the menu, I wanted to order everything listed, but settled it for my top 3-4.We ordered the Cucumber Carpaccio, Device, Cheese & Charcuterie Board & Israeli Couscous.Cucumber Carpaccio - 5/5 - Nice thin slices of cucumber with carrots, onions, rice vinegar and dill. The Dill really did it for me.Ceviche- 5/5 - Excellent. My favorite item on the menu. First time for me to have a sweet-citrus flavor, with Mint, Kiwi and Dragon Fruit. This was a Flavor Explosion in my mouth, a Foodie delight.Cheese & Charcuterie - 5/5 - I don't think anyone can dislike Iike Cheese and a Cured Meat Board. Very generous serving, served with olives & nuts. Israeli Couscous - 5/5 - The pearl couscous was Delish! Light lemon flavor with the essence of both the Shrimp and Asparagus infused in this dish. You dont want to miss this!Overall 5/5, I love this place. Food has so much flavor and non greasy. We left leaving satisfied with what we ordered, not bloated and full. Tried a new restaurant in San Pedro and it was great, we will be back! Such an eclectic little hole in the wall, felt like we were dining at a friend's house, except your friends are surprisingly really really good in the kitchen!All the dishes we had were great and so unique!

My wife and I just dined at the Neon Sun last evening for the first time and couldn't have been more thrilled! First off the ambience is like Berkeley meets Sedona meets New Orleans. It's like a cozy house. Also, the owner is so friendly and accommodating! She helped make our whole experience awesome. But the show stealer is the food! The manic happening in that kitchen is amazing! Everything we had was excellent! Much of it is really needed to be shared. It has that vibe. Come in w a social mindset and not so much that you have your own plate. The ceviche might have been the best I've ever had. Super fresh, light on citrus to not overpower. Also, the raw scallops w watermelon were ridiculous! Such a fun and interesting take! We also shared their French dip and wagyu filet mignon. The dip was excellent! Great roll, great smoky au jus, but the beef was super tasty! The filet was perfectly cooked and super flavorful! The roasted garlic on the side were like little candies that made the meat pop! We closed out meal with the house madeice cream sandwich dipped in dulce de leche. It tasted home made! Super tasty cookie and ice cream! Fun! The whole meal and vibe is fun. Please give this place a try!

The food and staff are amazing. I just love the Warm Cabbage salad and their wagyu is perfect.

Tapas style restaurant giving a unique retro 70s vibe. My first time here and I will definitely come back. Atmosphere, service and food .. amazing. The presentation of the food matched the quality and exceeded our expectations. Forgot to take pictures of all the food we had. However I definitely recommend the fried plantain dessert I don't know how they did it but they made it taste like a slightly sweet donut and we loved it. We also had rose, lavender tea, Charcuterie board, asparagus salad. A underrated hidden gem.

I had my birthday dinner here yesterday. Everything was fantastic!!!! It feels cosy inside and I love all the local artists ceramics. I forgot to photograph some dishes as I was too eager to tuck-in. We had Cucumber carpaccio, ceviche, sashimi, couscous, beef poke, oysters, scallops, spring rolls and a peanut butter ice cream sandwich. I can't wait to go back

The perfect combination of high end food in a comfortable, chill place that allows you to stay for hours without even noticing how much time has passed. They don't have a beer/wine menu, so bring a group, a couple bottles of wine, and enjoy one of the best evenings San Pedro has to offer. The menu was eclectic, something for everyone. And so delicious - highly recommend sharing small plates with a group so you can try more of the menu. A couple of the dishes were so good we ordered a second to share.

They are right next door to my favorite chiropractor so I stopped in for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. This place is a hidden gem in the heart of Pedro. The owners run the place and they are very friendly and extremely nice. I will definitely go back the next time I visit my chiropractor. A++++

My husband and I went here for date night the other week and it was *awesome*. We shared oysters, an asparagus salad, and ceviche for appetizers. For our main courses we ordered the empanadas and beef dip sandwich. We happily finished things off with the fried plantain and ice cream dessert. Highly recommend all of it! The place is super cute, and the staff is very warm and welcoming. You can tell they're excited to be there and that makes it more enjoyable too!
